  • A Fender Flame Elite from the 80's Master Series. A really cool and especially rare version of this guitar. Quite a player and tone beast. What guitar would you like to see Fender really make a good reissue of?

The Fender Elite Flame has a special place in my heart. It was my dads last big purchase before i was born & he died shortly after. He bought it when they first came out. Seeing the khaler on there & replaced machine heads just seems blasphemous being that ive seen it all my life (w micro tuners). Its what i taught myself how to play guitar on. Its an AMAZING guitar and when I go long periods without playing it and go back to it its like im home (in the sense of feel, comfort).

Thanks for sharing your story. I can imagine that guitar felt very special, in many ways. My friend got this form someone that played it out for the majority of his life. I can imagine the lack of micro tuners helped contribute to that cramped feeling I had while tuning.

Great guitars - I have 2 a Flame and an Esprit! Love the tight action, great feel and quality finish. On another note have you looked at the Aerodyne Strat/tele's? Also very nice guitars out of Fender Japan.

perthmike7 oh nice! You have both, that is so cool! It plays like no other that I have played. I do like the Aerodyne stuff, have played a couple and was really close to grabbing a black one about 6 years back. Thanks for checking out the video, are you in Perth?
