Well, in all fairness, Gibson also made models to go after the Fender crowd lol. The Esprit guitars are cool. I’ve seen demos of them - I think they’re worthy contenders to be on the wishlist! Isn’t there also a Squire version? Or did I dream that idea up? I’d imagine they’d cost less if I’m correct.

Eastwood makes a “re-issue” or a clone of this guitar. Eastwood makes quality stuff. I have one of the originals of this in the elite trim. I love it!

I remember when this guitar was first produced. Robben Ford was using it and did so on many tours and records. He made it sound good.
If you like these guitars but don't want to pay the crazy prices they bring, Squier also had these in their masterpiece series.
I think Honda had a gas powered scooter called The Esprit, in the 80's.....
