I think this may just be the most stunning, aesthetically beautiful watch I’ve ever seen. That dial is utterly mind blowing! Thanks for such a wonderful video!
Imagine being the artisan being given a wafer of gold and a chisel and told to "work some magic". I'd be curious to know how long it takes to finish every dial face, it is so time and labor intensive,
My former grail was a Blancpain Tourbillon. This watch is the reason I just had to use the word "former." Just incredible. I'd pay money just to hold one.
I must admit I never really liked A. Lange but your videos have changed my perspective on them. This is also now my favourite watch too, thank you for the video
When I first came in to watches, I always thought ALS was too austere, too old for me. Now, though, I’ve realized the true magic, and even though I’d still rather wear an 1815 chronograph dial-side-down, I do love them.
I really don’t like their cases. The focus is always on their dials and movements, which of course are always gorgeous , but to me a watch is more than a sum of its parts and the case design is a part of that. As a whole, I just don’t like how they look
I hope WATCHFINDER gets to read this, I just dont get it , you deserve so many subs, the cinematography and the macro shots are just mind boggling and insane, please never stop making such videos, it's so calming, informative and enjoyable to watch. Thank you watchfinder. Always delighted to watch such videos , every single time.

We are so lucky to get such high detailed shots of such an expensive rare beautiful timepiece.... this is great plus the narration is the icing on the cake I learn something new every time I watch a Watchfinder video
The underside shot looking up through the Tourbillon was astonishing! As always...beautifully crafted and exquisitely presented... and the watch too! That time-piece was stunning and on another level... a grail for mortals like me! The video and narrative though....make me realise the superb masterpiece and its creators are truly the pinnacle of their craft! Thank you!

I was drawn to that dial face immediately. To think that surface and details are handcrafted is 'wanzig' (crazy)! Thanks for for your oh so smooth presentation and I'll make an offering to the gods to get that Triple split on your table.
This is just such a beautiful watch. i am usually into sport watches, like the TAG Heuer Chronograph Carrera CBN2A1A.BA0643, but this watch really got me. there is something magic going on, if you are so fascinated by an object, that you want to speak out every detail it makes it so fascinating, that you are nearly speechless and only able to bring out one sentence: It is such a beautiful watch.
I have been following Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin watches since 1990. Today in your review, I was astounded by the beauty and horological work in especially A.Lange & Sohne 1815 Tourbillon and Zeitwerk I watched on RUclips. Wow 🤩.
To state that timepiece is a beautiful masterpiece... just doesn't do it enough justice. "I ain't got the words." . Your camerawork and narrative does give it justice, thank you Watchfinder and Co.
I am surprised that you didn't mention that polishing on "12" index is vertical, for "3" and "9" is horizontal and for the rest its like 45 degrees angled so they all match beautifully. Gorgeous watch, fantastic video - nothing less than expected from Watchfinder. Cheers :)
This is already an exceptional watch to behold, but as you described the painstaking process, this video suddenly became quite literally breathtaking. Thanks for creating a video that does this piece justice.
The return of the diamond end stone has to be my favorite part of the watch. Then again I start with the movement when looking at any watch. The dial is absolutely gorgeous.
I absolutely adore this watch. It's absolutely gorgeous and exquisite, yet it's amazingly pragmatic looking, with a clean, simple, almost field-watch-style dial and hands and good contrasting colors. I'm more snobbish about "artsy" watches on this channel than I have any right to be (my only watch is a $60 quartz beater) and generally tend to turn my nose up at watches that sacrifice their purpose as watches for fanciful designs or complicated, unreadable dials. I have tremendous appreciation for anyone who can perfectly blend the pride of the craft with the practicality of the instrument.
If I could afford one of these, I could probably afford a Singer 911 as well. These two would pair very well. Any of those A. Lange Tourbillion's are dream watches.
cmon, bring the triple split. Also every time I see A. Lange and Sohne, I'm reminded about Moritz Grossman. I'd be interested to see those watches under your macro photography.
Absolutely Beautiful! I note the Diamond in the balance assembly! The Engineering and Attention to Details - Makes this an Awesome Timepiece! I wish I could own one of the 30 Pieces! Outstanding Presentation and Video!! I thoroughly enjoy Your Videos!
An elegant video both in how you present the watch visually and the story as well. One thing that was missing is addressing the Elephant in the Room - How much does such a Masterful creation cost??? I dont want to stain the çonversation by talking about money/value....... but i am curious! Would €500,000 be a good starting point??
In fact it's not even that expensive... at least from the view of people who can afford such a piece. It's 186.000€ or 222.400$ Not that I could even dream about owning one... but for what you get one could even call it a bargain 😅
Yet they couldn't make the 2 screws holding the tourbillion on the dial match in symetry. How hard is it to match the threads on those 2 screws so they match in a watch limited to 30 pieces. I could not look at those screws on that beautiful dial every day, it would make me uncomfortable.
Mr. MP i rhink that breaking symmetry can be very pleasant when done purposely, I very much like broken symmetry on the dial of my longines hydro conquest ceramic (date window instead of the 3 index) but that is a thought out idea done on purpose in a watch worth a fraction of that Lange price.
What a great review. Your camera work is awesome, can’t take my eyes off this watch. The dial is amazing with so much detail. Does Lange make anything that doesn’t look incredible? I would say that for the money Lange would be my top choice out of the big 3.
7:09 you're wrong. The numerals are first carved out by a machine, because the dial needs to be flat to could get the tremblage finishing, which is sort of like sandblasting with a hammer and nail. If the letter raising was done by hand the dial would always be wobbly. You should have done more research on goldsmiths.
It’s very easy to make screws that are aligned. But, that’s part of the watch industry rip off. Just look at the definition of what a Swiss watch is. It’s a complete joke. It’s one of humanities biggest rip offs. Right behind the media and religion. They make you think it can’t be done. And, people still pay an absurd amount of money for them.

There's a woeful lack of legibility due to the very limited contrast between the dial and numerals. Style over practicality, not something one usually associates with AL&S.
