Where to go from here? The Quadruple Split of course. With the added functionality of splitting the buyer's wallet upon purchase.
I’m pretty sure that this one already has that particular function covered.
Well this one is already a quadruple split, you'll probably have to split your wife with AD to buy one... ok choww
I actually LOL'd
@@giovannidivici we are everywhere.
Wallet? You mean Bank Account?
“First of all...rude” hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 I love it!
Thank you for the generous 5 extra minutes of pure eye candy
At this point A. Lange is just flexing on the holy trinity the uncrowned kings
In your dream. Patek has long integrated silicon hairspring and escarpment parts, Lange is still using Nivarox alloy form back in 1930...
@@yunlongwu8071 and their design and price is still garabe
yun wu I believe you mean silicon hairspring. Silicone wouldn’t be particularly effective.
@@Someothername2134 a Silicone hairspring? can you even read lol.. i guess these days people are having too many plastic surgeries
@@MonicaHolly143 what watches are you collecting then? I'm sure my Patek will hold its value better than most watches in your collection, but if you are a big time Rolex collector then yeah you are the best
It's literally a computer with gears. Amazing engineering. And beautiful as well.
Miniscule gears. It's breathtaking.
It took me quite some time to appreciate A Lange & Söhne. Now i am thinking about selling my entire collection for a double split.
Order a brochure. The macro pics will make you want to sell your house to buy a few of em.

Where to go now ? Easy : split date, for those patient enough to time simultaneous events lasting more than 24 hours. Like a one mile snail race, or a US presidential election.
LOL the last one had me in tears.
ROFL!
Ha!
add a perpetual calendar and split the month and year as well
Vacheron Constantin:"we have built the most complex watch in the world"

2:50, split hands catching up
4:06, 9:09, minute split in close up
5:20, both column wheels in view

Imagine dropping it while filming... Nice video, as always. A. Lange does not play in a different league, it's a different sport.
'The peak of this channel'...
Gave me goosebumps.
Huge fan of A. Lange & Söhne.
"How complicated is it?"
"It is enough to give even Christopher Nolan a headache" - watchfinder 2020
Next level of Lange Chronograph - the Atom Split :P
It would be an explosive hit
I don't even own a watch yet this is the fastest i have ever seen a notification and clicked to watch. Watchfinder...you are doing the world a great service. This channel is becoming sort of a "Natural History Museum" for watches. Documenting all these watches for posterity is a great service indeed
What impresses me here is the amount of finishing seen under the microscope. It passed all scrutiny.
It’s unbelievable how humans can make something so perfect in the truest sense of the word. Literally flawless in every way. Insanely complex for the sake of being complex. Incredible.
My thoughts exactly, how is that level of perfection made by imperfect humans
11:55 It's like a mini Steampunk city inside a watch! What an incredible godly piece of engineering.
*steampunk
@@jlg395 Corrected thnx!
It’s referred to as the Micro City. This watch is incredible.
*ungodly
The peak of watch making and the peak of content making, I can't start to express the emotions right now, literally goosebumps, good job guys. Really lucky to be a fan.
Now that was a treat (even better than the fudge bars, I brought home from work).... your footage, narration, writing...all first class, thank you.
Me: how much do i owe you for service?
AD: your first born child and your soul
seems to be a good deal ;)
AD: Yes
DIY and save a Kidney, leg and first born :)
AD: Njah thats a Problem... nobody is able to service it on this Planet, even Lange doesn't know how they put it together
The movement is hypnotic to look at. The layering, and intricacies are extraordinary.
I really cannot express how much I appreciate your filming. You have such an amazing eye to make these beautiful watches glow.
Please know that does not go unnoticed.
Thank you.
You actually made it happen, incredible. Just made my day!
Where to go?
How about returning the split lap time to zero, with a third hand starting simultaneously?
That would replicate the function of the "three stop watches" method that was always used on race tracks.
One stopwatch is started at the start, and stopped at the end of the race. Two more watches are linked by a bar. Watch 2 is started simultaneously with watch 1. At the end of the first lap the bar is depressed, and watch 2 stops and watch 3 starts. The lap time is recorded from watch 2, and it is then reset normally. And so on....
The race time was also recorded per lap on the fly, as a back up.
Or of course, you could download a $10 app... but that's not exactly the point is it?
Indeed, whether this would be possible mechanically I don’t know, but if it were at least it would be useful. This triple split is of no use to anyone.
I see you are a TSD rally enthusiast as well.
Nobody needs a mechanical watch to take the time. Any digital garbage is more precise. But a painting is also more worth than a photograph, and every cheap phone makes more detailed pictures than any of the great painters. It is art! Art needs no practical use. Art is, because we can.
The differnce between a watch seller (Rolex) and a watch maker.
Shots fired
Oh snap. I agree entirely though.
pretentious
I really can't understand why you can't appreciate both. I didn't know people loving watches were as immature as people hating on Samsung and Apple without seeing what both did for the industry.
I mean I love ALS as much as Rolex but for different reasons. I am mind blown by the workmanship in the ALS, just as I love seeing John Mayer showing an ultra rare 1953 ref6204 Sub on Talking Watches.
Both Brand have a huge importance in watchmaking in their own leagues. You won't find, with ALS, as much history as with Rolex. You won't find ALS finishing in Rolex movement.
Just love both brand for what they are and stand for. However, you are allowed to hate Hublot, I'll give that.
@@augusot4452 that last line though 😂
Under such intense magnification the thing is absolutely flawless. It has to been seen to be believed - so thanks for the additional 5mins straight of this visual feast of engineering and craftsmanship.
What’s mind blowing is every Lange is finished flawlessly, regardless of price. There’s really no other brand which comes close to Lange, except for some of the very high end independents (Kari Voutilainen comes to mind)
I know that this is probably an overused statement but there is no better fit than here: THIS is German engineering at its absolute BEST!
Awesome that you finally got your hands on this amazing piece of art - thanks to the company itself! BIG THANKS & congrats to you as well as A. Lange & Söhne!
Both of you, keep up the great work - all the best from Germany!
No whatsoever doubt about the super ingenuity of the German watchmaker, A. Lange & Sohne!!
The additional footage was delicious... thank you. Without question, these are them most exquisite videos ever produced. ...Barry
Fantastic! And kudos to A. Lange & Söhne for making it possible.
Your comments about the additional complication involved in adding even a single split reminded me of Ginger Rogers' comment on dancing with Fred Astaire: "I did everything he did, but backwards and in high heels."
A.L&S is undoubtedly my favorite watchmaker. This triple split is out of this world. Thank you Watchfinder for presenting it to us.
Richard Mille when you make something like this, then you can justify your arbitrary prices!
Well done Watchfinder... WELL DONE!!!
The better the watch, the better the Watchfinder-video! Great!!! Thanks for the additional footage. Please do a video on the 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold "Homage to F.A. Lange" or on all three of the 175-year-jubilee edition.
It's not only an engineering marvel but also a piece of art. The dial is cleaner and more beautiful than most of simple chronographs.
Wow. Truly truly exceptional. Thanks for sharing 👍
This is the sport watch the Breguet and Daniels would have worn when meeting up for a chat and a drink down the pub - a watch they themselves would show off to the other guys at the bar , a watch that then should have by rights inspired the third guy at the bar - a certain young lad called FP Journe .

Great video. Thank you. Enjoyed the extra footage at the end. The finish on the dial and the polished architecture of the movement are mesmerizing.
Now this was worth watching in 4K!
Thanks!
The watch of the miracles: it even provided us with a long, clean sample of the background song from 9:41 to 14:24!!! 😍😍😍
Don't know if I've ever heard this level of hype and excitement in your voice!
Knew from the start this had to be a really, really big deal.
Amazing curtain call, and the watch deserves every split second of it.

Ok. Gotta Split...

Possibly the most awaited WF clip of all time. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls" Finally... THIS is magical, mechanical engineering and execution.
I have always considered Lange to be the absolute best engineered watch in the world and this incredible model; reinforces my position!! Wonderful review!
Brilliant review. Well done!
Such a good video. All of the shots were mesmerizing. The reel at the end was an awesome addition!🔥😍
Rattrapante, double & then triple split- the chronograph saga ofALS. Truly the heights of haute horlogerie.
The bonus footage at the end was great. They should just create stock footage of amazing watchrs on a loop for people to play in the background.
It has become clear that Lange & Söhne is the best watchmaking company in the entire world.
A. Lange & Söhne is owned by the same company as Watchfinder & Co.

What a watch. Always appreciated ALS for their work. Fantastic presentation
Mesmerising. I guess I will come back to this video several times in the near and distant future. Congratulations to those savvy enough that, having the purchasing power, will choose this masterpiece. And thanks for the bonus footage at the end!

Lange is “the” member of The Holy Singularity.
God I love the ALS design language. I'm perpetually in distress knowing I'll never be able to afford one unless I'm being completely irresponsible with my finances.
000 / 100 . The most exclusive review of the most complicated watch
Ahh...that was so satisfying I had to watch it twice. I'm going to save it so I can enjoy it again later. What a watch and what a fabulous watch maker.
Thank you for bringing a smile to my face and tears to my eyes! :’)
The extra footage was much appreciated too!
Incredible engineering and attention to detail, and, of course, the supreme irony is that 99.9 per cent of people don't even need a chronograph, and those who do will use a digital stopwatch.
This will be the most watched video of Watchfinder
No, because it will only attract watch nerds, not the masses

Every video is so stunning, perfect video homage to an amazing watch ❤️😊
What determines the music/background choice for these videos? I like them both but I sometimes prefer the dark wood background too.
No specs in this video, just pure beauty and perfection. Thanks for sharing this piece of art - and I mean both the watch AND the video.
A landmark video. Well done guys you’ve done it again brilliant to watch! Thank you.
Hello Watchfinder Team - I wanted to thank you for including just the watch plus the music at the end of this video. As much as I love the stories you tell, there is something about just being able to watch everything move alongside the music that is very calming.
If you ever get the opportunity to do this in the future with other special watches, I'd really appreciate it. Or, perhaps you could create a version of your videos with just the music and the footage, linked as an unlisted video in the description.
Best video ever. All the references is perfect!
A Lange & Sohne create & engineer the most incredible watches. I, unfortunately, am one of the many standing outside the shop with my nose pressed up against the glass dreaming of owning one. It's never going to happen unless great fortune is bestowed upon me undeservedly. I don't like window shopping but the pain of it is lessened hugely by the absolutely fantastic narration & language used in your clips accompanying the showing of said watch . Whoever you are, I hope they are paying you handsomely as you deserve it. Consistently interesting watch clips relaying additional information & history, all delivered in an interesting & entertaining way. Well done Sir!
I am not sure, what is more remarkable: the watch itself or the video. One of the best videos ever, and believe me I've seen thounsands , not just in horology. Lange, on the other hand is so under-rated brand among the collectors. This watch, together with many others, proved that A. Lange und Sohne is opposite. Keep doing good work.
I have no words. Need to digest this
What an amazing piece of engineering.
I don't remember seeing this in the 21/22 brochure.
I can never understand all the hype with Rolex when there are beauties like this.
Price and ego.
There are plenty of superior luxury goods on the market in any market overshadowed by titans of their industries. They shine because the product quality is decent enough not to be questioned as they pour a lot of resources into marketing and other areas not directly correlated with development. They do so because the return in financial growth is far greater than any actual improvement to a product can bring.
I would go even further and say that this applies to any industry and the country of origin being synonymous with certain perceptions in mind, something I would argue even this niche market of luxury spenders would have trouble with.
Rolex is for normies who doesn't give a damn about watchmaking as a science and art.
@@NuryPPanaligan that’s a bit of a strecht to say
@@tmpecho Maybe. I mean that majority of those who buy Rolex appreciate watchmaking at a surface level. Most of the people buy it as a social signifier.
A Lange is not part of that Holy Trinity, It Is the Holy Grail all on its own now
I’m late to this video and really enjoyed it - what an amazing piece of engineering.
While I was watching, I couldn’t help thinking that this is a complicated and expensive answer to a question that nobody asked.
Of course, to a very large extent that applies to mechanical watches in general. While a lot of people enjoy them, there are other, more accurate, ways to tell the time.
It makes it even more amazing that a company would push the boundaries of mechanical watch movements, to come up with something like this.
Fantastic!
suggestion; place a most appropriate Leica M3 next to your watches
Incredible, what a masterpiece! And as ever, magnificently recorded to be enjoyed by our eyes and ears. Thank you
I don't even know if it's possible now, but in the same vein as "something special"... A Heritage Watch Manufactory Firmamentum review would be incredible.
Money wise too
Pretty soon they'll be able to run Crysis. I just watched the walk through of A. Lange & Söhne on TheWatchestv again last night and they never fail to impress!

I’d like to find one of these on the beach while metal detecting.
All I ever find are beer can pull tabs.
Thats the dream my friend. The ultimate dream.
I would have a real hard time doing the right thing in that case! But, alas, no watch is worth my integrity.
To be clear by "the right thing" dont mean turn it over to the police so they can take it home. I mean actually find the fortunate/unfortunate owner who lost it. Plus, hopefully if they can afford to lose a watch like this they could afford a nice thank you gift watch!
Craps all over Patek, AP and Vacheron. I firmly believe that Lange is in a class of its own!
Without a doubt, ALS is at the top of every other watch manufacturer. Even at this magnification level its almost impossible to find any flaws.
This is going to be hard to top! Incredible video as usual!
What a fantastic video! A. Lange & Söhne did it, ... just because they can...
