I think this is my grail watch, as a german myself I really dig the simple but unbelievably clean aesthetic of the dial and the jumping mechanism is just so satisfying to look at and the movement, what an amazing piece of german Handwerkskunst (craftsmanship) 👏
The update of model for ability to quickly advance the date is a major improvement. The lack of the quick set date was holding me back. Definitely a dream watch!
I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem - greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. We are absolutely worried that SSI will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific Investment account with my Tracy Britt Cool Consulting my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.
I know this FA, Tracy Britt Cool Consulting but only by her reputation at Goldman Sachs; even though she's now involved in managing portfolios and providing investmnt guidance to clients. I have been trying to get in contact since I watched her interview on WSJ last month
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO

You know they didn't have to make this. They could have just stuck to boring old designs and still made enormous amounts of money. I know I can never come close to ever owning this, but I'm so glad someone decided to take the bold risk to make it.
I have to admit that I have never really liked A.L.&S watch models. The Lange 1 is one of them. You can throw that at me. There used to be the "Arcade" with a molded movement, which was no longer produced in the early 2000s. I liked that one the best, along with the current "Saxonia Thin" with the copper particles as the night sky. The "Zeitwerk" is interesting, but somehow not. Apart from the fact that I can never buy it anyway, I find the offset minute counters here, and the offset date display on the other watches, visually awful. But in terms of movement, the "Zeitwerk" is of course amazing, no question about it.
Looking at the Semperoper 5-minute clock, I think the Zeitwerk's digital display is the most strongly inherited of its genes. The flaw is that it's too expensive, but w For an inexpensive digital watch, I like the Otsuka Lotec No. 7.5 ：）
Amazing watch, but so far out of reach for the average valet, it's almost sad. Hopefully someone will be inspired to create an affordable alternative for the masses some day.
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
I'm trying to decide between this and a G Shock DW5600. I love digital watches.
