For summer cooling : you should look at a poor man’s geothermal well. Dig a 15 foot ditch like 200LF and throw some pipe in there and pull the cool air from the earth. Keep the inside of your yurt 60F all year round
@@malikaivillatte9065 Sweetie I understand what your saying but I'm not like all people. I treat my animals like human & from what I noticed.. All my animals have benefited as well as myself from treating them like humans. Ex: My bearded dragon was the sweetest and most engaging dragon I've ever seen & I believe it was bc every one else I knew had crazy dragons from (there words) locking them up in cages. My bearded dragon loved Nicki minaj(I wasn't a fan) , loved her show King Julian, loved whenever I would talk & communicate with her opposed to me treating her like a typical animal. Animals are more than just animals. They are our spiritual angels/guides in the flesh in my perspective
Housing estate houses in the UK have all the same "worst" issues, but they're nowhere near as cosy, any form of heat or cool escapes, and they attract damp horribly. I'd much rather live in a yurt.
I am living in Mongolia at the moment. I was searching on how to close the hole on top of the ger, but stumbled on this great clip. I just put a blanket on me. Can bear it now.
I really like the color of this yurt, what company is this from. I bought 2 used yurts and sold them after my husband passed away, I’m thinking of buying one now 10 years later.
For the summer overheating see about opening the top and opening the windows or possibly even a couple of floor vents, should naturally let the hot air rise out the top
Building one now and i am excited ..like the openess of the yurt. Glad to here about the heating with wood is nice. Thanks for your videos helping me to when we put it up..
Hey, I though about building a wooden cabin but each time I see about yurt I start to like them more, I think I'm gonna try building one ! It's a bit minimalist but has all the comfort anyone need I love it, I saw some for 3500e only ! But the hardest part is to find a land :/
You would think. We actually added a window to the back and it definitely helps. Since it cools down each night where we live the nights get cooler, but it is HOT during the day (even with the windows (and door) open.
It’s REALLY REALLY loud. We joke with the locals here when people say, “oh! I love the sound of rain.” 😂😂 Yeah, wait till you live in a canvas structure on the Olympic Peninsula

Wow. Im in Texas. Great tip
What will d is going to come out of there, can you explain?
You accidentally put “the rain is so loud” on the wrong side 😉 jk good for you guys- this is awesome!
I said that myself until I realized all day 24/7 possibly in some places. Yet I want animals so that's why it's a hard part for me
@@intuitivedeatarot4710 your animals can live outdoors they are animals lol

I would love to live in a yurt. When I turn 18 I’m buying 15 acres for $20k and building a yurt with my hands.
@@intuitivedeatarot4710❤ yesss God said let me take their wings off and apply fur to these dogs so nobody will know they are actually angels ❤
It’s based. No mortgage to the greedy life sucking banks.
You can eliminate outside noises by sound proofing the yurt with sound proofing foam.
It's not cheap but extremely effective.

Bravo!
Best year round to withstand the desert year round long time?
Considering this! Do you do all of your cooking and showering in your camper?
Yep. At least until the house is completed.
вот так должна выглядеть ЗДОРОВАЯ, полная жизненных сил, женщина ! )
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Hello what is the size of your yurt (square meter ) how much the price . How easy or different to fix it

Surely opening door and windows would create a cross draught and cool the place down

If you make a yurt made of wood instead of toothpicks you wouldn't have any of those problems.
You don’t like loud rain?!?
