Great yurt. Can you give me advise on sound proofing for rain? I love My yurt its in the gulf islands and the sound of rain is deafening, like being in a drum.
I was wondering if there is a certain kind of insurance that you would need to cover your yurt and all your out buildings and personal belongings?My husband And I have been looking into getting one.Thank you .

Beautiful home, however, there is a fence to protect you from wildlife and if you see a pack of wolves in the woods and still choose to go for a walk....You're kinda asking for trouble.
He doesn’t look like the type to have a gun. I LOVE nature! I LOVE animals! HOWEVER, if it comes down to me or the animal, you know who I’m choosing and it would literally break my heart, but I’m not going to let a wolf or bear tear me limb from limb and eat me alive, without at least mortally wounding it. I wouldn’t shoot unless it was actively coming for me. There’s no way I would live in a forest away from civilization without a gun. No freaking way. What if a lunatic breaks in. Umm no. I live in the country and I have a gun.
This bourgeois environmentalism encourages me to celebrate as the West is stripped of all its wonderful modern technology and reduced to a pre-20th century existence much like was "enjoyed" by the old Soviet Union, while the BRICS countries become modern industrial and financial powerhouses. I'm sure it can be found but my yurt insurance experience was a letter from them saying "We do not have a product which meets your needs."
