I will write you something about these edifier mr4 monitors, I previously bought Behringer b3030a monitors which cost much more money and they were so bad that you could not listen to music at all On them, however, I have recently got Edifier mr4 And these speakers are much better, first of all I finally have a good stereo base, while Behringer had none at all and had strange high frequencies , Everything in the Behringer b3030a was so fucked up that it was impossible to listen to any music recorded on them in the studio , It was only when I sold them and now I have an Edifier MR4 that I know it is alive because the cheapest audio set Blaupunkt MS12BT for 120 USD had much better speakers than this Behringer b3030a ,I don't know how to say this, but on the Behringer b3030, even though it has Kevlar speakers and ribbon tweeters, it was impossible to listen to music, especially Vocals recorded and mixed on these speakers, everything that was mixed on these speakers by me went to the trash , Because the mixes were completely wrong, the room characteristic switches didn't help. I finally had to get rid of them so that I would never see or hear that Behringer b3030a again, I finally bought the Edifier mr4 and I am impressed with these speakers, even though they cost several times less money, you can finally listen to recordings mixed on them ,As for the Behringer company, I advise everyone to avoid it.
I'm guessing something like a R1700BTs or anything in that series will be better, because studio monitors are meant for audio accuracy rather than pumping sound. But the MR4 looks soooo good
Edifier had not actually released a legitimate studio monitor and with the Eris being so popular as a competitor they have now basically covered the whole market and made a product that is a tad better for the moment
Well youre doing it smart. "Gaming" branded stuff are crap most of the time and are really expensive. I just find thing a bit inconvenient having speakers that doesnt automatically turns on or off when using.
Hi there !! Was wondering if you would be doing a review on the new panasonic technics eah-a800 ? I'm not sure if they're available in-store now...but there are some who has it already 😊 I'm so curious on your opinion on it compared to the Sony xm4 or sennheiser m3
Just received my mr4's yesterday, has this issue where the bass in mac miller's good news cannot be heard at all. the frequency response starts at 60hz but it's at such a low volume you cant even perceive it in the mix. it might actually just be my set could be faulty
@@DAZZLINBEATS actually these speakers can do as low as 40hz. they didn't lie on the spec sheets. its just really really quiet so you have to crank that volume knob all the way to the right. although if you do this without using balanced outputs through an interface like the focusrite scarlet solo, you will get a lot of noise (interference from grounding or cable) so aux is not recommended. the noise floor of these speakers are surprisingly quiet and i don't notice the noise at all when sitting 3 feet away from them (i did notice the right speaker has somewhat more noise than the left) i have my volume settings as such : PC (100% volume) > Focusrite usb interface (20-30% volume) > Edifier MR4 (100% volume) if the low freq bass is still not as loud as you want it to be then you can try headphones instead. they rumble real close to your ears so you will hear it. one more thing, you gotta give the speakers some time to burn in or loosen up. you wont get mega-bass but 60hz will become somewhat noticeable over time. i don't regret buying these at all. just give it some time and you'll warm up to it like i did.
I personally own the Yu2 and this Edifier hits much louder and deeper than the Yu2. When using the Yu2, I always felt that it would be better if paired with their woofer, but with the Edifier, it's not like it's very deep bass, but at least I don't feel like I absolutely need a woofer for it 😁
please can you exactly tell me how tall and how wide this item is? i want to know as CM not inch.. it is important for me to know, since i have restricted space for my desk and i want to know if it precisely fits my desk . also 1) can you tell me if this item is good for price? 2) does it have sound distortion? 3) how good is bass? 4) how about 3d sound ? 5) is it good for listening musics?? is it richer and fuller ?

considering swapping from m-audio bx5s to these. Anyone have experience with both units or thoughts?
Got the speakers! really like them, need to position them direct to the ear for them to sound best, appreciate the review!
Twitter is actually not 1" as stated by Edifier - twitter is smaller, measuring about 0.75".
Hi Sean. Great review. Edifier has a new pair called MR3. I think you should check it out.
Edifier had not actually released a legitimate studio monitor and with the Eris being so popular as a competitor they have now basically covered the whole market and made a product that is a tad better for the moment
Can't deny that haha, at that price, the Eris is really quite the competition.
Mr4 mog the eris
They gonna be back on amazon in September 15th gonna get these in white
This is a Studio Speaker. I'm using it to play games on my PC. Does this count as abuse?
No prob at all =D as long as it serves you well and let's you enjoy your games!
It does count as overkill tho lol
Yes. How dare you!!! 😆

@@SeanTalksTech I am searching a speaker mainly for music & watching movie with a little gaming. Which speaker would you recommend?
Sorry newbie here can mr4 connect to an extra subwoofer? If yes how? Thanks!

Same here my friend . How you fix this issue ??

Do you think the logo could be erased by rubbing nail polish remover on it?
👍👍👍
Cheers Bro!

Presonus E3.5BT is the way to go for $139
segun los reviews que vi mr4 es mejor que presonus!
Comparable to Kanto Yu2?

This, edifier r1700bt/s or edifier 1380db? what's the best all rounder?
R1700bt during sale and with bass and treble knob turned down a few notch. Voila, cheap cheap hifi
They sound horrible ....
You sound horrible
Look at the Presonus Eris E3.5BT for $139 instead of these... Bluetooth and infinitely better sound...
but eris 3.5 not bass under 80Hz .... This one i can see 60Hz .... it's better for mixing. I have the Eris 4.5 here and it's 70Hz.
They are definitely not better.
