Oh man 🏍! I’m in. I know the Porsche blue so well I can see it with my eyes closed. That bike re-do is the bomb 💣. I would love 💗 to have one. I tried to order a new Honda 500 CBR from the local dealer and they’ve only received 1 bike, a 1000cc cruiser or something because of the supply chain parts issues so far this year. I would much rather have that tricked out Trail bike. I can ride my Ninja on the road but it won’t do what that fabulous little bike will do. Thanks for sharing. 👍☮️🌞❤️
Good day to you. I am a senior rider on HONDA from Japan. Enjoying touring ,camping and video uploading. This is so nice video Awesome!! Thank you so much for sharing! Full supported ! Have a nice day my friend!!
I was really disappointed to discover this is a custom build and not an upgraded factory offering. It is a very nice-looking bike though and the modifications look well-built and compliment the factory design.
With the cost of all expensive Takegawa, Kitaco part i can make it to 246cc with machine shop made 68mm piston, 68mm stroker, big 2 or 4 valve head, also 5 speed or 6 speed can too. Here in South East Asia already does a lot of customized engine of 100cc and 125cc Honda Cub. Just search on youtube "4v 66/5" you'll see a lot of Thailand people do customized 125cc engine
Absolutely incredible. I had no idea the complexity of the upgrades you can do to one of these simple, cheap motorcycles. I'm also blown away by that custom ECU. Can someone please tell me how much horsepower the engine makes after this engine swap and all the mods?
i love it but i cant seem to find anything on how long the new engine last. how many miles they can last. i dont want to spend 5k or more to only last 1000 miles.
@@HondaProKevin Greetings Kevin. Is this a unit that will be offered? I have been pricing the Royal enfield scram and Himi here in Las Vegas where off road riding is plentiful. Enthusiasts such as myself searching for my 6th Enduro do not need to wheelie through the neighborhoods anymore. Loved the review and would like to see these Hondas offered out here. Thank you.
Oh yeah, that blue is absolutely B-E-A-UTIFUL and maaaan oh man was it beyond difficult to capture its true color on camera, without the rest of the shot being too light or dark etc. Definitely testing my limited skillset with a camera and its settings lol! Thank you! Appreciate the kind words and support as always, Jim ;)
@@HondaProKevin When I go to car shows I see photographer use a gray or white piece of cardboard, maybe that would help the camera get the correct hue.
I'm sorry but I didn't dive into the price tag on this bike with the owner or builder as that can open up a can of worms that if I'm being honest, I don't want to open. It's a lose lose situation in my opinion. Why? Well, if I said it cost $2k or $5k - there's going to be a TON of people saying how dumb this or that was to spend that kind of $$ etc. Whereas if I don't discuss numbers, then there's no controversy and if someone wants to discuss a build and its price tag, the builder's contact info is in the description. If the builder / owners want to discuss pricing and don't care if I share, then I'll share. I know that's not the answer a lot of you want to hear but hope you understand where I'm coming from ;)
If you have a small bore Honda get it to Wyane at the Speed shop in Georgia he will make your bike super fun to ride I have 2 monkeys that he’s built and they are way more fun now
It's nice to see a Honda not dressed in plastic. All the mods are necessary for today's traffic. Exceptional build that should be available at your local dealer.
Love this build. Gives the trail the slight boost on hp it needs. What I’m wondering though is how the new engine affects the mpg. I might try to do this myself and I love the trails high mpg, so I don’t want it to get too low, especially with it’s small fuel tank.
lol right! It's easy to go bankrupt real quick with these things if you really want to go ham with customizing them. Thankfully you don't have to go crazy to have fun with modifying them though ;)
Very nice build. If Honda did it first, then this would have been a Trail 225 in Lambo yellow video. It would also cost double the price of a real factory model bike with a warranty. I'm not saying it isn't cool and nicely well done.
Maybe it's my earphones, but I couldn't tell any significant difference in the exhaust note. I guess you had to be there. Also, no mention of fuel consumption for the modified versus factory rig. I'm betting the range of this modified bike has been significantly reduced unless they also increased the fuel capacity, although no mention of fuel capacity was mentioned.
Would have been nice to know performance difference---hp, torque, speed etc.plus what is the cost. you really said a lot with out giving any real information.
The big bore kit is $3,000 just for the parts. Why not just buy a CRF300 Rally? Considering the cost of these mods, you would have plenty left over for a crash bar and accessory lights.
I had the stock CT125. I'm not sure I would have wanted to go any faster. It was tiring having the wind on your legs at speed. A fairing sure helps with this. It was a fun bike and it was my first bike, but honestly buying the CB500X was a huge step up and a lot more enjoyable to ride.
I like the bike, but that pipe locks it to the street 😢. Nice job on the video. My prediction is that with editing and content like this, the channel is going to grow big. Merry Christmas

Very well done! I love that cool kind of babyish blue.
Wow 58L top box as well?! That’s the biggest I know of you can buy! I think Charlie Borman needs to do another Long Way Down on this!
Just bought one, a -23 yellow color. Superhappy..!
My son bought one of these two weeks ago in a bright orange red!
Oh man 🏍! 👍☮️🌞❤️
Nice! I have almost the same combo of engine and mods on my 2019 Grom.
Love those Trail 125! 👌🏽
Is the five speed a bolt on for the Honda?
Good day to you.
I am a senior rider on HONDA from Japan.
Enjoying touring ,camping and video uploading.
This is so nice video
Awesome!!
Thank you so much for sharing!
Full supported !
Have a nice day my friend!!
I was really disappointed to discover this is a custom build and not an upgraded factory offering. It is a very nice-looking bike though and the modifications look well-built and compliment the factory design.
Oh yeah, it'd be cool to see Honda offer up a factory upgraded unit like this!
So its got extra lights added for more light output but then the lights are tinted.
now this 181cc is talking!! this is great resolution for real adventure mini bike
Super little custom. It would be great in the UK with out overcrowded and potholed roads.
Can someone please tell me how much horsepower the engine makes after this engine swap and all the mods?
alot a real alot. Have a great day
All it takes is money… how fast you wanna go??? 😎
The mods cost more than the original bike price 😢
Cheap? $7k for a 125 that can’t go on the highway unless you have a death wish? Try finding one for under $7k.
@@jeromebullard6123what are you crazy? They're under 4k all day everywhere, a simple Google search will find dozens of them new and a few used.
I saw a prelude in the background, honda family! 💪
Deamn, love how quiet it is.
Wow that 🔵💙 blue bike is quality tyres spots nice job . I don't mind paying for something like this good .
i love it but i cant seem to find anything on how long the new engine last. how many miles they can last. i dont want to spend 5k or more to only last 1000 miles.
1000th Like!!! Amazing yet simple.
Appreciate the support!
It's been interesting to see how many people like the build and can appreciate what went into it etc versus the latter.
Thank you.
Love it! 181 CCs is perfect! I was riding Hondas when the Beach boys came out with that song in 1968. I was 16. How much, 8k?
1:50 pst. How much do they go for ,nice CT 125
Did I miss it? What did all those upgrades cost in the end and would it be worth it?
That blue hue has caught my eye, beautiful. Great video thanks again.
@@HondaProKevin When I go to car shows I see photographer use a gray or white piece of cardboard, maybe that would help the camera get the correct hue.
so a 12k mini bike?
Where the heck can I buy a trail125 hunter cub with those amber lights and aggressive tires etc?!!
That's a great looking mini-bike with go anywhere ability. I would rock something like that to do did deliver apps with!
Honda needs to up their game and reintroduce the dual range transmission on that bike.
So Enlighten us how much does it cost to put all these added feature on to the bike? I want to hear some cost dollar amounts. How much does it cost?
I know that's not the answer a lot of you want to hear but hope you understand where I'm coming from ;)
Koguma and Reiko definitely watched this
Cmon Kevin. What was the total build cost?
If you have a small bore Honda get it to Wyane at the Speed shop in Georgia he will make your bike super fun to ride I have 2 monkeys that he’s built and they are way more fun now
So freakin awesome , bring it big time to a CT! All the right stuff with a 5 speed daddy want!
lol yeaaah buddy!
It finishes when I am expecting to hear someone tell me what it is like on the road!! What is the new top speed?
Very nice Honda Trail 181! 💯
sweet looking bike now that i have mine, my neighbors want one
all those mods but what about suspension?
That may be what he's working on next as it's back down at The Speed Shop for some more upgrades.
Thank God I will buy one for myself
What’s off if the MPG and price at this builder and stuff like that on it?
It's nice to see a Honda not dressed in plastic. All the mods are necessary for today's traffic. Exceptional build that should be available at your local dealer.
Love this build. Gives the trail the slight boost on hp it needs. What I’m wondering though is how the new engine affects the mpg. I might try to do this myself and I love the trails high mpg, so I don’t want it to get too low, especially with it’s small fuel tank.
This will be the video I refer to for when I want to upgrade my trail 125 when I get it. Thank your sir, I'm now going bankrupt😂✌️
How many HP does it make?
Is that lovely ti exhaust pipe hanging naked below the frame ?
Would have been nice to know performance difference---hp, torque, speed etc.plus what is the cost. you really said a lot with out giving any real information.
The big bore kit is $3,000 just for the parts. Why not just buy a CRF300 Rally? Considering the cost of these mods, you would have plenty left over for a crash bar and accessory lights.
Ohlins rear fully adjustable shocks would rock it.
Just like the CT125, the PG-1 cannot be had in the US. I do not want to wait two to three years before I see one on the west coast
You made the right jump. The CB500X and the CB500F are perfect motorcycle's. I have the F. It's so much fun, I never stop smiling.
Grow a pair, Nancy!
With the CB500X what have you done to cure the tiring caused by the wind at speed?
@@georgewashington687 The 500x was fine at speed the CT was the one that got tiring.
What the hell 😅
amazing custom 👍👍👍👍
But seriously, mon ami, how many cases of biere (Beer) can mounted on this toy ?
With all how many HP output?
Clutch is manual?
Man this is super sweet!!
What size are the tires you put on the bike?
Great video man!
Where can I find one of those I would love to have one ❤️ I wonder what is the price
Hello can you guys recommend tubeless compatible spoked rim?
Now that’s what a postie bike should be.
I like the bike, but that pipe locks it to the street 😢.
Nice job on the video. My prediction is that with editing and content like this, the channel is going to grow big.
Merry Christmas
