I got one a week ago and i agree. Ive had only bigger bikes. Im 26 my first bike i got at 18 it was 1983 honda cx650 custom. I also got a 2008 kawasaki vulcan 1600. To me the trail is the best real world bike. Unless yiu have to ride an interstate to work or a highway. I live in an area i rarely leave and the fastest roads i cant take go to far away places hours away so theres no reason to use them unless youre leaving my county and going 3 hours away in every direction. So a lot of the time im just going 5 minutrs down the road to mcdonalds or into town or hitting the trails for that its a great bike how light it is. My vukcan 1600 was heavy i also rode a grom and a 2008 kawa vulcan 2000cc and it was heavy heavy also. A dream on the interstates cor cross country but terrible in the parkinglots. And riding very very slowly easily. The trail 125 better than the grom and xr150. I gey 125 mpg 8 bucks a month insurance. In these reguards its a great bike

The international version comes with a cargo rack, or passenger seat and pegs, side stand, nicer lights, color choices.

I’m a new rider and when i first saw the navi, it was last year. It inspired me to learn how to ride and i did at MSF. I learned on a Grom and passed October 2022. After much research, i narrowed it down to 3 choices: Svartpilen 401, xg 500, and Navi.
I bought the Navi and I’m glad I did b/c it’s very similar to the Grom and it was the weight I am most comfortable with.
Update: bought a grom - found a deal I couldn’t pass up. Now I realized I don’t need two bikes. I prefer to actually just keep the one that I know the most about which is the navi. I’m going to sell the grom and I’ll be able to make a profit on it because of what it came with when I bought it. Instead, I am going to go for a Can-Am.

Navi is a great work bike, I put my hard hat, lunch and uniform in the storage case. Have a givi trunk on back to hold helmet, ride 42 miles a day on country back roads at 50mph. I was shopping for used elites and helix but clean 20 year old samples were more expensive than brand new navi and under-seat storage was similar size as navi trunk. Value is great, and I prefer the normal moto frame with tank between legs vs scooter step through. Not fast but I don’t ride bikes for speed, feels adequate for daily commute.

Lately I've been really thinking about getting a small bike, and I love the look of these Hondas. Especially The Trail and The Monkey. Something small and cheap like this would be perfect for me to get around from Spring-Autumn...would be a hell of a lot cheaper than dumping money into my Mini Cooper I want to sell (car market still sucks, and I'm poor).
I'm honestly afraid though, as I lost my friend at age 26 in a moto accident. I know something smaller like this wouldn't be intense. I've been into road cycling for a while and going downhill you hit speeds up to 40-50mph, it would probably be safer than that honestly....It's just I feel if my friend got in an accident then I probably will at some point. He was going WAY too fast and it happened around a bend in the road, so there's ways he could have prevented it. But growing up he was that friend who basically taught me everything, including how to ride his dirt bikes.

Something you have to keep in mind about these mini motos is that in America we look for high horsepower and things that zip around in a lot of other countries they're looking for something cheap that's reliable that just get you to and from work and get you around town with gas prices being 4 5 $10 a gallon some places getting 100 miles a gallon and driving these the work is a much better idea my 96 Bronco for example with a 351 Windsor get 8 Mi to the gallon performance parts are added it's not a pretty vehicle it's made for going off-road in the mountains got a 2010 Ford Focus gets 30 Mi to the gallon if I drive it like a normal person grom gets about 120 what vehicle do I drive to work I recently rolled over 10,000 miles in my Grom a 2015 I've done a little tweet stupid beefed it up a little bit in 2022 I picked up another one didn't sell my other one that one's I'm I'm going to put a 300 I picked up a cbr300 that's somebody wrecked that runs fine it just stalled then tub picked it up for 600 bucks they are awesome for a daily commuter and racing from stoplight to stoplight without going to jail having a blast they're just nice bikes

Short answer, no, long answer, when hell freezes over. If you're lucky, and this is seriously only in the last 2-3 months, you might be able to catch a shipment of 4 or so navis to a local dealer. They'll be out the door within next 2 months, typically. But any of these other bikes, good luck. The grom's you can find used fairly easily, but they hold their value insanely well. The trail 125s are practically reserved for press only, and I've never seen a monkey, in person, ever. I would guess they take 3+ years of being on a waitlist to get one.
