I get goosebumps anytime I hear Myles sing. I cried non-stop seeing them live.
i've seen multiple formations of gnr, i've seen slash live with myles a few times, but the only alter bridge concert i've ever been to remains The Best
Kennedy puts me in a happy place, too. Very, very nice.
Strong low notes and a high register ( not falsetto) that retain heartfelt vibrato that enhances the meaning of the song. Unique recognizable voice and skilled guitar player that also enhances the song. Very much enjoyed.

Thank you for posting this Beth. Myles Kennedy is, in our opinion, the best singer in the world for the past 15 years.
He has so much power and emotion in his voice and he's technically incredible. He is such a strong singer and musician.
My wife and I watch a lot of vocal teacher reactions and you are by far our favorite. You see the technical aspect but also
the emotional aspect and it's very refreshing and educational also. The comments you make about Myles preparing himself
for the high notes by making those small vocal noises, are spot on. We've seen this video a million times and we never saw that
perspective of it. You are incredibly insightful and knowledgeable and we enjoy your videos immensely.
By the way, Myles made you cry at the end....well, he does that that to us all the time.
Alter Bridge is our all-time favorite band. Thanks again and all the best. :-)

Awesome! So much emotion in his songs. Ridiculous, effortless range and control, and comes across as one of the nicest guys about too!
I love it when we think we figure out the artist and right away he surprises you with a change (2.26).
I didn't know this band, but I accompanied a friend to a concert because the person he was going with cancelled last minute and I really didn't care for their other songs, plus it was in a very small place and my ears actually hurt from the loud music. But this song, oh this song made me tear up, and the fact that you could almost hear the people singing more than himself, made it even more special. I have it recorded and I love to watch it every now and then.
Myles Kennedy has to be one of the top if not the top in his field ! He can make you cry, and make jump up and down, and anything in betweeen.
A master of his craft ! Alter Bridge are so amazing, and its all 4 musicians that make it so. Pls look at Wonderful life live also from Wembley, its the same kind of energy and simply amazing.

This song always brings me memories of my Grandma. She was my rock and the one who I could turn to when I needed someone’s wisdom and guidance. I’ve learned to sing this song because it helps me feel like she’s still here.
The best thing about his voice is the soulfulness that it has. A little understated, but its there and adds so much to songs like this.
Love how you keep it so real with your reactions. Not some overdone shit (like on some other channels). And even though I'm not a singer I really like your explanations on why he does this or that with his voice. It's just a new perspective on his performances. Thanks for that.

I just saw Alter Bridge live on April 1st and as usual they were amazing. In addition, it was the first time that my GF had ever seen Alter Bridge live so, I got to live through her eyes just a bit. In fact, when miles performed watch over you acoustically she could not help but tear up.

This right here is my all time favorite song! I try to cover it when I play, but I'm no Myles (lol). I always introduce it as "this is my favorite song by my favorite band." I mean, I've heard this song a million times but I still sat here listening to it on your video with tears welling up in my eyes. The man just has such a full, rich, amazing voice, and this song is the absolute perfect vehicle for him to showcase what he can do with it. SO GOOD!

I've followed Alter Bridge since they released "one day remians" in 2004, seen them live 16 times and have met the band, and they are simply great, great musicians, great songs, a great singer, and great guys! ALTER BRIDGE!!!

You have to check out Alter Bridge performing Words Darker than their wings live from the Royal Albert Hall. This show was done with a live 50 piece orchestra and It is honestly one of the most perfect live performances I have ever seen. The Note Myles hits towards the end of the song will take you to heaven.

Definitely an overlooked singer. I'm really impressed with your analysis of the singers you react to. I have a suggestion. This is a bit different but Jacob Collier does a version of Moon River that is literally out of this world. He also won a Grammy for it and it is a pretty epic video.

Beth, one of Myles Kennedy’s early bands was called The Mayfield Four. Listen to “Eden.” Amazing how good he was even in 2001 before he was really discovered
there was a comment of him sounding southern? Myles is from Spokane Wa.. I remember seeing him when he sang in the Mayfield four.
This is the most emotional performance of this song. Made me really appreciate Myles' voice. I've always liked Stapp's voice more, but this one Myles is above and beyond.
