Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world. - Видеоклипы
I love the fact that they keep their online and RUclips presence strong and the way they take care of their content's quality
I swear that Page just gets bored and does this stuff for fun.
mason harris Definitely not him or other band members doing it. There's a whole commercial team behind it, obviously.
You really think these old legends will go on RUclips and upload, edit videos? They have better things to do I'm sure.
@@Lightnings I almost guarantee that they have a hand in it. They are allegedly are very controlling over their band. Page expessially
Yep
And I love the fact that there are italians, like you,(I think, because your is an italian name) Lorenzo Lelli
a classic rock playlist is nothing without led zeppelin
❤🫡🤘
Led Zeppelin is Rock & Roll.
That solo is so hard to pull off... it sounds incredible, but once you learn how to play guitar you gain such an appreciation for the talent of these guys
Definitely
Especially bonzo, I've been playing for 7 years and still struggle to even imitate what that man did
Just looking at the tabs, I get a new respect for the technical wizardry of Jimmy Page.
Definitely one of the hardest Page solo
its obvious they were talented they even get made fun of by punk and garage bands for their "extravagant playing" haters gonna hate lol
John Paul Jones, one of my greatest influences and the reason for picking Bass Guitar as my mistress.
I picked up the bass for the same reason! Love Jonesy.
@@raymondsearch5289 that's his nickname? then how does steve jones get away with calling his radio show jonesy's jukebox? lol
@@leahflower9924 Not sure about him, but I've read several Led Zep bios and all the other band members always called him Jonesy.
Not your mistress, she's your wife and first love, whatever you call that other woman😂
This song influenced the Ramones if memory serves.
probs aha x
Yes! By Johnny Ramone's own admission!
Hmmmm
That makes perfect sense because there’s fast downstrokes in this song that are like the ones Johnny Ramone played his entire career.
It influenced alot of stuff.
Nothing sounded like Led Zeppelin when this album came out. NOTHING.
one of the best riffs by The Silver Thinkers: The 17 million ! DAMN it's EPIC !
@@keplerarpeggios3215 I agree with you... Trump SHOULD get 8 more years!
You ever heard of a band called Blue Cheer sir?
Paranoid, off course.
@@rigobertosanchez8532 Yes. They sounded like a drunken bar band. No comparison to Led Zeppelin 1.
Underrated bass line.
Enough with the cliche'd underated label, already!
@@paulph12002 Who are you the ratings police?
@@paulph12002 It is underrated though, it holds everything together perfectly.
It's true but the underrated nonsense is redundant at this point
@@TheRoadhammer379 I suppose you're right
The performance in Denmark was iconic.
Best version. Jimmy's solo was fire
@@ShaneBermingham616 can we just talk about plant's voice at denmark? Such an amazing performance by all of them
@@Faffabucco Real talk!
Those early Zepp years, Plant was hands down the most powerful vocalist on the planet
one of the best riffs by The Silver Thinkers: The 17 million ! DAMN it's EPIC !
Un Gatto Al Pistacchio can we just talk About all four of them in Denmark it was sensational, I saw a comment on the Denmark RUclips video and one of them said “when the time machine is invented I’m going to sit on that floor”. I am definitely doing that
The early Zeppelin was so full of raw energy that it has withstood the test of time really well. They are always fun to listen on any given day.
This song owes me a pair of headphones because of what happened last night, but I still love this song
hahaha i wanna know what happened last night
@@lauradanielamartinlesmes4651 I was jamming so hard my headphones fell off my head. Luckily they were only $5
@@Averythefloof ... The silence must have been glaring.
Probably one of the grooviest groove beats.
There is one fact in the history of Rock.
You cannot resist
a Led Zeppelin Riff.
THX Lads!
:-)
What are you talking about "beats"? This ain't rap.
True dat
This song had both created punk rock and heavy metal.
I'm trying to see how...
The RAMONES, Johnny R admitted that this song influenced their sound. The jimmy page downstroke riff = Judy is a punk
@@tacomas9602 try harder. black sabbath almost didnt release paranoid because tommi said this is similar with communication breakdown
@@redzss This does not sound like Paranoid at all!
And it was Geezer who said that.

One of the greatest Air Guitar tracks in history.
Thanks Bob, Jim, John, and John. What a classic.
Ради такой музыки стоит жить в этом мире! Спасибо, Led Zeppelin!
"AYE"...Time to Get the Led Out!...The Mighty Led Zeppelin are still a Force in Today's Music Scene...No 1 can Touch their Magnificence! NO 1!!! *******
The PERFECT heavy rock track! Heard it when it first came out on AM radio in my car...it sent my heart racing and blew my mind. Amazing riff, hypnotic tempo, perfect solo, energetic vocal... blues on steroids! It's beautiful, unique and eternally great!
When I heard this classic song I just knew it was gonna be a million dollars...It gets no better!!! Long live the KINGS!!! ****ZEPPELIN****
.
Love this song but only remember it being played on FM. My AM was WABC, WNBC. It's great it was on AM where you lived.
I've always liked this unusually short Led Zeppelin song. I've come to realize that it's perhaps the best little introductory piece to give to someone who is new to Led Zeppelin - both because it's an excellent demonstration of the band's skill, and because it's not much lengthier in duration than a typical song sample.
I got led zeppelin remasters on its release date and this was the first one I loved (above immigran song that became later my favourite)
Yes! (I also feel that way about Black Sabbath's Paranoid.) Short, sweet, and just perfect!
JPJ in my right ear killing it. what a song. what an album, it's still my favorite from Zep.
Nothing will ever compare to hearing this for the first time. Myself at 13 having guitar lessons
Yes. Remember hearing this for the first time over the intercom in Junior High School. Still sounds as earth-shattering and other-worldy now as it did then.
One of the first heavy rock/metal song..and fucking great one.
1:24 - That's from 1969!!!!
That's WAY AHEAD OF IT'S TIME
does anybody else have the feeling like "I love this band so much that I feel like I need to love it so much more but I feel like there is so much love for this band that Its just infinite love? or is it just me?

Whoa, that's a whole lotta love bro..🔥🔥🔥
I love them so much it hurts.

Damn led Zeppelin is still rocking to this day! 🤘🍄🤙
Stupido
0:49 that extra guitar rift that comes in is just perfect
This 2 minutes 30 seconds seems a lot longer than it actually is. Love this song.
Zeppelin kicking ass since 1968!
Perfect!!!!! I love you #ledzeppelin
This is one rockin' song. Oh yes how I remember the intro and how kills afterward. So tasty.
The bass was 🔥🔥🔥
Their first album absolutely amazing
Мне 66 лет но всё равно иногда я слушаю лед цеппелин и переношу в дни своей молодости и хочется слушать и слушать и хотя бы на эти несколько минут оказаться там где я был ещё таким молодым и безбашенным.... 😢😢😊😅😅
I once heard a radio DJ refer to this song as "the best little piece of rock and roll ever written."
Pos eso mismo.
🎸❤LED ZEPPELIN❤🎸
Legend has it that Johnny Ramone's style was inspired by this song.
I love this track but my favourite bit is when R Plant goes awaa aah, awaa aah at 2:08.
This tune saved my life. ...and that's it.!!
54 yrs on, still continues to delight. 12th January always about Led Zeppelin. They stopped by at Mumbai in March 1972 on their way back from Australia and were entranced by Eastern mysticism.
That solo is epic
That song is definitely a precursor to Punk and Speed Metal.
One of my favorite on their incredible first album.
Best rock band ever
After all these years this song still rocks!!!
Without this song, there's no Punk Rock
Punk? No way. This was hard rock on its way to metal. The Who pioneered punk.
After 53 years all i can say is....WOW!!!!
Rock n roll at its best 🙌🎶
My favourite Led Zeppelin song
So fricking good
The first heavy metal song.
I think it was Helter Skelter
No man that was hard rock...
@@Liviopedata And even this is blues/hard rock, helter skelter is heavier than this
LED ZEPPELIN FOREVER! LONG LIVE LED ZEPPELIN!
You can see this song is going to not just ulter the entire history of rock and geology!
If you can't feel it 😢the soundtrack of my youth
My Father introduced me to Led Zeppelin, He played Side 2 first.. Hell, Communication Breakdown is the best song from the first album!
Proto Punk! & everything to follow!
I love the tone Jimmy Page uses on the solo. No polite "brown sound" or "woman tone" here. It's just face meltingly trebly and aggressive and it really suits the song.
He’s actually quite a scruffy player- I like that!
reminds me of the kinks
Pretty tight for a band that jammed together for the first time about 5 and half weeks earlier
So true! It was meant to be!
Esa batería.. Dios cómo suena..!!!!!
Pa volvete loco perdio, ya..
This song launched Zeppelin!
This must've been something to hear the first time folks heard it over the radio!
Yes. I'm 69 & when we heard this for the first time on the radio, it blew our minds! We had never heard anything like it. I instantly fell in love with Led Zeppelin. Was fortunate to go on & see them in concert 3 times. My love & appreciation just grows as I get older. Will always be rocking with them! ☮👩🦳🎶

The most recognized garage rock song by Led Zeppelin!!
Yeah man one of the Greats!
Que sonzeira, o Jimmy tava muito inspirado nessa época. Sensacional
Love the "On Tour" and "Nearest show" bits up top.
The vocals are insane
One of the few tunes Page sang background vocals on.
The guitar solo is ridiculous , the vocals will shred your throat, and bass/drums kick your butt.
1st song, 1st side, 1st Zeppelin album.
They got everyones attention.
They still do.
Thats absolutelyabsolutely the truth and so then again why can't we all have that amongst one another to have a better life
The First Punk Rock Song Ever. Amazing Band.
Lotta energy in this song!
