Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world. - Видеоклипы
Unlike the Rolling Stones, these were not just average musicians who moves mountains when they got together. Every member of Zeppelin had super human talent. They moved the entire universe when they got together.

I couldn't agree more! 👍
Nothing average about The Stones at all: there's a reason they have outlived............and at this rate, will outlive........... everybody. Love em both though
@@erichinton5774 Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have said that their band members were "average" or "mediocre" musicians yet sounded great when they played together. Watch them actually say it in the five U.S. and Australia 60 Minutes interviews.

I'm 61 years of age and still ROCK OUT with Led Zeppelin. This song here is one of the greatest as they come out of the gate FULL ROCK-ON, to then slow it down and enjoy the drumming of "Bonzo". It becomes almost peaceful to the heart and then it ROCKS OUT to one of the greatest finishes of their many great songs. Robert Plant was and still is to this day the greatest Rock Singer of ALL-TIME. His choice of lyrics cannot ever be touched by anyone ever. And JPJ with the bass that adds... Sorry, can't help it... A whole lotta depth.
Jimmy could slay dragons.
Like I Tell Everyone Jimmie Page the best guitarist in the world!!
Pink Floyd disapproves of this message.
This is one of my favorite riffs. It's so "rude" as Jimmy says.
It might get loud was great; couldn't help but think it'd have been better if they'd have gotten Richie Blackmore and Jeff Beck with Page, instead of Jack White and The Edge. He just felt to outclass them
The band breaking back in from the drug trip at 3:05 might be the single most badass moment in music history
The best rock singer, guitarist and drummer will never be equalled absolutely fantastic thanks England for the greatest Rock band ever.

This song is the proof that there are bands, but they are THE BAND.
The production is perfect and it is still better than almost everything up to date, the drums are HUGE, the voice is brutal, the bass is groovy and the guitar is so tight. The solo is for me the best in rock history, a 20 second punch, doesnt need more
This and Deep Purple's Child In Time (throw in some Black Sabbath there, too) for me expresses all the best of "heavy music" from the 70s.

Best rock song ever. Best rock album ever. Changed my world!
Driving around in my '79 Pontiac Catalina makes me want to hit the gas whenever this song comes on. It's nothing short of a masterpiece. I can live in the nostalgia, and I wasn't born until '91, haha.
Jimmy Page masterminded the finished product of most of Zeppelin's albums. When he overdid the smack, John Paul Jones took over, at least for a while. All that delicious panning and stereo choice of instruments on this song you're listening to was Page's doing.
I had the fortune of seeing Zeppelin twice; once in '69 and once in '74. In '74, they themselves played the entire concert for more than four hours.
The key to living a long life and staying young is to listen to a whole lotta Led Zeppelin!
