Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world. Видеоклипы

John Paul Jones doesn’t get enough credit for his contribution to this brilliant piece of rock music here in this song. He carries this song with his bass line IMHO.
So true. I just listen to that bass and its pure genius
JPJ is a fine bassist alright.
Without a doubt brother ♥️👍
Him and Bonham play off each other sublimely 💪
He gets credit from me. John Paul Jones,.Chris Squire and Geddy Lee were some of the bassists that pushed me toward learning bass. I've played some other instruments, but bass is still my main calling.
My 19-year-old son passed away in an accident in May. We played this at his funeral. He was totally hip and intelligent beyond his years. He loved Led Zeppelin, mostly due to me playing it all the time as he grew up. It was his time to ramble on. This song is significant to me and always will be.
may GOD help you through this. just remember you will see him again and you all can keep on ramblin. love some ZEPP.

@@CWTwitchin I know, I mean ppl can enjoy WAP at times BUT BUUUT this kind of music (Rock n Roll of course) goes beyond the superficial good looking culture.

My favorite Led Zep song of all time. Every facet of this tune is sheer perfection...
Greatest acústic song
Plus No one can ever Sing it like Robert
Yes, I agree - Led Zep at their unique best !
There’s something about that opening guitar riff and the light percussion in the background. Takes you back 40 or 50 years.
Driving to HS in 1978 in my 64.5 Mustang 289 little race car with this cassett tape in my stereo and driving into school and the leaves were falling all around. That event always stuck with me for some reason. It was the year I got my first real HS GF which the song talks about. Just has always been a special song for me. Classic rock does not get much better than this song.
Led Zeppelin is my life's soundtrack 😉✌

Mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom, I hold dear...how incredibly relevant these lines are..after almost 5 decades since they came out with this masterpiece..
Long Live Led Zeppelin !!!
absolutely
This is the song he 1st played for me to introduce LZ and it resonated that it will be played for me when I leave this world to Ramble on and find my King! LZ-no other 🪄🎵🎶💖
Aye,truth indeed.
It is where the lines hale from and the power vibration has in our place we call home. If an unsaid thought dies a still born death then what do well written thoughts actually do? Our loss of the real meaning and etymology of our own language defies us and places us in danger often without knowing it. The word to concentrate for example places your very essence out on the table to be taken and your essence the primordial substance in you diluted. Like scrying using a black mirror of which doer not return your reflection you see through the black mirror of your phone and tablets again this is not reflecting you back at you but diluting, transmitting the non physical you the real you is being lost... vibration , energy and frequency the keys to everything on the spectrum of sound and vision if it were 2500miles long we interact with only 6mm the rest is as they say the unseen world, the larger real world we are all part of just right now the only way to experience true consciousness is by means of a physical avatar as consciousness needs total awareness of self and surroundings and brings out the evils of ego and pride which when full up of these potential evils we leave no room for wisdom. Wisdom being the only true ability to discern truth from lies to navigate your journey and not become victim of ill used FREE WILL the double edged sword. If you don; t believe me what do you suppose the lads sing about elders of another race, and everything will be revealed. Do you hate it when you hear them lying , is this the only world you had. The tale that can't be told, his freedom he holds dear...Because he traded out and its end is unknown and after the end his debt must be repaid the time comes when he will serve the master who his deal was done. The enhanced ability of musicians is often the deal look at Dylan he admits he cant write the songs he once did because he never wrote them. Listen to Plant and page tell of how they came about the voted nearly every year the BEST SONG EVER would you be proud and take the credit cause they do not one was in a room the other in the studio suddenly like zombie driving one had the rifts and the other the lyrics and the words STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN have vast biblical and historic meaning. Te boys have had a good innings only because they served well thereby and still are being absorbed into every generation since their origins this they have been of great value in helping corrupt the soles of innocent unaware naive humans who seek not the truth behind our world set on the spectrum of Sound and Vision (one of David Bowies best songs incidentally) Light is sound and sound is vision two ends of a spectrum of frequency we are non physical beings in a controlled environment beings of light so we exist on this spectrum and we exist as a vibration also. A spectrum where the right resonance can activate and manipulate the environment alchemy....Remember LET THERE BE LIGHT ...and there was! Sono-luminescence the passing of sound waives through water. The earth is said to divide the waters above from the waters below. As above so below! We simply toy in an environment we know nothing of where the truths are hidden by secret societies! SEEK THE TRUTH!
I joined the Air Force in 1982. And have been rambling on ever since!
Always wished this rambled on much longer ...
LED ZEPPELIN FOREVER!
*Ramble On* (Lyrics 100% accurate)
The leaves are fallin' all around, time I was on my way
Thanks to you, I'm much obliged for such a pleasant stay
but now it's time for me to go, the autumn moon lights my way
for now I smell the rain, and with it, pain
and it's headin' my way
Aw, sometimes I grow so tired
but I know I've got one thing I got to do
A-ramble on, and now's the time, the time is now
Sing my song, I'm goin' 'round the world, I gotta find my girl
On my way, I've been this way ten years to the day
Ramble on, gotta find the queen of all my dreams
Got no time for spreadin' roots, the time has come to be gone
And though our health we drank a thousand times
it's time to ramble on
A-ramble on, and now's the time, the time is now
Sing my song, I'm goin' 'round the world
I've gotta find my girl
On my way, I've been this way ten years to the day
I gotta ramble on, I gotta find the queen of all my dreams
I tell you no lie
Mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom I hold dear
How years ago in days of old when magic filled the air
'twas in the darkest depths of Mordor, mm-I met a girl so fair
but Gollum and the evil one crept up and slipped away with her
her, her, yeah, yeah, and ain't nothin' I can do, no
I guess I'll keep on ramblin', I'm gonna
Sing my song/Sh-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah, I've gotta find my baby
I'm gonna ramble on, sing my song
Gonna work my way all around the world
Baby, baby/Ramble on, yeah
A-do-do-n-do-n-do-n-do, my baby/Baby
A-ramble on, baby
A-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-de-do-de-do-de-do-de-do-de, yeah, yeah/
I can't stop this feelin' in my heart
Everytime I feel I will leave, I really gotta part
Gotta keep searchin' for my baby/
Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, babe
I've gotta keep a-searchin' for my baby
My, my, my, my, my, my, my baby/
Yeah-yeah, a-yeah-yeah, a-yeah-yeah
My, my, my, my, my, my baby/
Yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah
Ooh, my, my, my-my, my-my, my-my, yeah/
I can't find my bluebird, I'd listen to my bluebird sing
but I, I can't find my bluebird
I keep a-ramblin' baby/Ah, ah, yeah
I keep a-ramblin', baby/I keep, keep, keep, keep, keep
Babe, babe, babe, babe/
I keep a-ramblin', baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby/
My, my babe
Bay-ay-by/A-goodbye, goodbye, a-goodbye, baby
Well, something's wrong

What do you remember about the concert. However insignificant or cool ! Share with us who didnt go! Did they perform "Ramble On"?
@@judebarnes9209 The only time they performed ramble on was in 2007.
@@gergo7507 she didn’t say they performed ramble on…
Lucky baster...👍
They should put out another live album instead of remastering stuff for the fifth time. I know Jimmy has the tapes
He doesn't. Someone stole them all.
Aiden only tapes from 73 and 80 were stolen. Pagey has the rest
I'm with you man. LOVE Zep to death, but how many times can Jimmy milk this "remastered" cow. Would be interested to know the return on investment. Dig through the live archive AND video archive and release something new instead of more of the same.
Exactly
Yea wtf is his problem. Something is holding him back. Maybe too tired? Bad sound quality? Whatever it is, I will still buy anything ZEPPELINNNN
In my mind I can just feel the Autumn leaves 🍃 falling all around as im riding down a Mid evil country road by Horseback. Squinting my eyes trough the trees as the Sun is starting to set. Begining of this song gives me that feeling that im in the song. To me that's incredible. As with Kashmir, another song that sucks you in to riding across desert 🏜. I can almost feel the sand from an ancient land. Led Zeppelin for me my favorite Band in so many ways... Im 60 yrs. So for the youth out there. Trust us Zeppelin fans, Go blast some real Music from 4 incredibly talented Musicians. Your Parents won't mind one Bit !! ✌️
Another Dean Winchester fav....
The best dude to wing-man with EVER! 🤘☢️🤘

Thanks for your love. It's been a wonderful feeling playing for my fans around the world. Though I rarely comment here on my RUclips pages, I was attracted by the emotions in your comment. I'll like we get along and keep in touch, if it's okay by you. Where are you streaming from?
Jack White is quoted as saying: "Led Zeppelin are an immovable force in music. I don't trust anyone who doesn't like them".
Let. Those. Words. Sink. In.
The bass playing in this is sublime. I love JPJ.
This is my ultimate travel song. ❤❤❤ Especially at takeoff on a flight but also my go to on long train trips, like Washington to Boston.
I learned that bass line when I was about 14 years old. I'm 68 now and still play it. Learning bass and guitar in those days meant wearing out record needles and scratching the hell out off records. Great memories.
Thanks for sharing
40 years since the passing of the incomparable Mr. John Bonham. He's still influencing rock and roll drummers around the world, and was one of a kind. Rest in Peace.
Lived and worked in 20 countries over the last 25 years, including 7 years in Africa. At the end of each job, when the bags are all packed, i play this song but LOUD. Then it's time to go-oh. Found the queen of all my my dreams, somewhere along the way. Bless you, Led Zepp.
In and out im honored to stay a "led zeppelin fan of here"
Enjoy forever
This is what makes recording back in the day so great...you can hear missed notes, imperfections, and the soul of the music.....it wasn't all digitally removed and remastered. That's why bands back then sounded good live, cause the recording was basically live to begin with.
saw em live
@@billgonzales8978 what was it like ?

A refreshing drink from the 1970's deep well of musical masterpieces!!! So satisfying in contrast to choking down disappointing meh-pieces in today's dry musical desert.
Early 1969 not 1970s but yes agreed
Underrated bass on this track. Very impressive.
Haunting dazzling and intense, ominously laced with enchanted unearthly radiance.
Ramble On, baby! 🤘🏼
A 21-year old student I exchanged music thoughts with, who thinks today’s music is where it’s at, had never heard Ramble On. She finally listened to it after me hounding her.
She couldn’t wait to write me. Here’s her response: “Oh my goodness! Where has this song been all my life? Why have I never heard it before? I think I listened to it three times, back to back. I love it!
They just don't know. It's astonishing that younger people are so technically connected, yet they're unaware of bands like LZ.
Perhaps it's due to an unconscious bias, that anything "so old" couldn't possibly be any good.
