Lyrics:
I got a certain little girl she's on my mind
No doubt about it she looks so fine
She's the best girl that I ever had
Sometimes she's gonna make me feel so bad
Hush, hush
I thought I heard her calling my name now
Hush, hush
She broke my heart but I love her just the same now
Hush, hush
Thought I heard her calling my name now
Hush, hush
I need her loving and I'm not to blame now
(Love, love)
They got it early in the morning
(Love, love)
They got it late in the evening
(Love, love)
Well, I want that, need it
(Love, love)
Oh, I gotta gotta have it
She's got loving like quicksand
Only took one touch of her hand
To blow my mind and I'm in so deep
That I can't eat and I can't sleep
Listen
Hush, hush
Thought I heard her calling my name now
Hush, hush
She broke my heart but I love her just the same now
Hush, hush
Thought I heard her calling my name now
Hush, hush
I need her loving and I'm not to blame now
(Love, love)
They got it early in the morning
(Love, love)
They got it late in the evening
(Love, love)
Well, I want that, need it
(Love, love)
Oh, I gotta gotta have it Видеоклипы

"Who cares?! Shut up and keep fighting!"
This song is better than Smoke on the Water and yet still is more underrated. A completely shame because is an awesome piece of music
Fabricio Vega smoke on the water is so popular solely because it’s one of the first riffs every guitarist learns because when you dumb it down anyone could play it
Many DP songs are better than SOTW
Probably cause this is a cover by Deep Purple rather than one of their originals.
"Hush" wast always my favorite Deep Purple song. I seldom hear it on the radio -- *AND THEY CHOP THE BEGINNING WHEN THEY DO PLAY IT!!*
almost 10mil views on a 8 year old video, plus there are other Hush vids here on the Tube with plenty of views. The word ''underrated' is becoming overused.
"You are still a good person"
That one little quote really threw me. What a game.
Indeed
Quite so
Ah a man of culture I see.
Just Finnished it, Awsome game. Will replay on the highest difficulty. "shit just got weird"
"It takes a strong man to deny what's in front of him"
One of the countless songs that I inexorably link to childhood memories with my Dad, THE greatest father a kid could ask for. He's 83 and when I stream this through his BOOM, he jumps off the couch and starts playing his air guitar.
So Dad, this one goes out to you! From your "little knuckleheads", Theresa, Timmy, Eric, Donovan, Brady, Scotty and Nick.
Awesome Dad bro!! I was nit yet 13 when i bought this album. Glad Rod Evans left Purple and ended up.with Rhino, Lee Dorman, and Bobby Caldwell to form Captain Beyond in 1970 and reakesed their first in January 1972. I used to get to travel with ny Dad to England and Europe from 67 to 73 when he was doing DOD/Nato functions and many times i had a couple days to myself and it was all Rock n Roll for me. I seen both versions of DP(Evans the Gillan) in venues in and around the club circuts. My childhood Rocked!!
God bless you and your dad!!!!!!
Go dad!
Air guitars are great. Life comes and it goes. Jesus has the answer.

One of the most underrated rock songs ever ! Just pure 🔥🔥🔥
Ian Gillan is far from under rated. He is considered one of the iconic vocalists in Rock music.
@@imkluu It is Rod Evans not Ian Gillan.
Gotthard - Hush
Not underrated at all...
I love this version, although it's actually a cover. The original was written by Joe South and recorded by Billy Joe Royal in 1967.

I freakin love this song!!!
One of the greatest songs of all time.
definitely in my top ten!!!!
Without a doubt, those guitar riffs alone, man, in my top 5 for sure!
Until a band called "charlatans UK" lifted Jon lord's organ hooks...and sampled it for their own song ("thee only one I know")
The 1960's was intense, like this song. So much energy.
Rod Evans really deserves more recognition.
I was really pissed off when they fired Rod Evans and
Nic Simper. Rod was a better singer than Ian Gillian and
Nic was a better bassist than Roger Glover (though completely
different styles). They both deserve more credit than they’ve
got over the years. And Nic went on to briefly work with Rick Wakeman.
Find it really funny that I discovered this song via a "what dad rock song suits you" quiz and everyone here seems to be in their 50s or older.
Y'all are very wholesome and positive, I wish the rest of the internet was like this comment section. Love y'all.
I'm 25 but I recently found a great love in 70s progressive rock, this is a wonderful song.
You can't have a rock and roll band without keyboards.
Easily.. but you can have a rock band without electric guitar
Jon Lord's organ solo was one of his finest moments, the way it builds and the execution of the notes.....epic!
i love every Jon Lord organ solo, the live version really really outstanding tho
@@helldronez Was lucky enough to see him in concert back in 1996 and 1998 with Purple. A phenomenal Hammond organ player (and also a success in the classical field as well).
There were some epic keyboardists back then plus Rick Wakeman later.
@@andyj639 There certainly was. Wakeman was a big admirer of Lord's work and became good friends with him before he sadly passed in 2012. Check out their organ/synth duel they did at the Sunflower Jam 2011, wonderful stuff.

…the civil rights crisis

***** Justin Bieber is just the modern day equivalent of a 70s Johnny Bravo. Remember the Brady Bunch episode featuring a young Greg Brady cast into the role of a Rock superstar, named Johnny Bravo.
