If you want a tip for that, breath in and out as deeply as you can 30 times (You may feel tingly or laugh a bit but it shouldn't be dangerous) then you will be able to hold your breath after that for way more than usual. I usually can hold my breath for like 20 secs and when I tried this I did it for over a minute. Pretty cool.

Kind of an unethical pro tip but any clothes not in the donation bins typically count as dumped and can be taken with no repurcusions so if your willing to do some digging you can get good stuff for free
I find atleast 2 different belgian jackets in each vintage or surplus store. Last time I checked Belgium is Sm0l. They're more common than all cold War European, Eurasian and American clothes combined.

When you go to warm weather climates shop for coats. They will have a great selection. Notice how they keep saying the coats are too heavy and putting them back on the rack. Also look for nice warm weather clothes when you take a trip to cold places. In both cases the items will most likely be in great shape.

Yarcofin Goodwill has raised prices two fold in my area. Also I looked for vintage stuff there and most of it is children's and women's clothes from Wal-Mart. At least you find some good stuff.
kekmeup I often go on mondays before the crowd gets there, and in my area there isn’t much emphasis on wearing high-end clothing, so no one really buys them. I have 20 stores in my town I shuffle between, some are big ones like Goodwill, and others are mom-and-pop shops that no one really knows about. Goodwill is definitely raising their prices here too, which is why I shop there less often.
In my area, Goodwill is pretty much garbage, clothes-wise. The D.A.V. thrift store has a much better selection of clothes. Goodwill's better for things like housewares and decor and books.
I dress the exact same way every day so that I look like a cartoon character. (This is not to mean I wear the same shirt and pants every day. That would be gross)

Clearly you've never been to a "Vintage" clothes shop. You can find wonderful deals on the clothes they have. Sure, they aren't as cheap as Walmart clothes or thrift shop clothes, but you can easily find shirts and pants for less than $20 at any decent vintage shop.
If you find a bargin at a vintage shop that doesn't fit quite perfect you can always have it adjusted by a tailor. In the end probably the same price as off the rack new, but you will always look better than the others if you are the only one wearing tailored clothing. :)
