Because what if something happens to that conviction and its vacated? Also, Doesn't the victim of this case need justice?
The thing that surprises me the most is that he's not on any meds.
Thanks Mike for your dedication to your chat to stream from a hotel in Brazil for us to have you for a host. ❤
Darell's no fun anymore.
I'm more shocked Mr. Brooks got a lawyer.
Where’s the groundz
Who is that that was just talking? That can't be the same "Mr. Brooks" that was yelling and screaming a year ago trying to convince everyone the picture of him in the Escape escaping wasn't him and his car malfunctioned when he hit the gas because he wanted to stop but the car sped up!
I'm glad his 15 minutes are up.
I wonder what medication he's on.... At least it seems to be working.
Why is he is street clothes instead of prison orange?
Because it is theorized that the jail clothing gives the impression of guilt to a jury/judge. It's a psychology thing.
Why is he not in a prison jump suit?
Wondering that myself. My understanding is once convicted you always come to court in orange.
@@debbiecantrell6480no, he was scheduled to start trial today, starting with jury selection. And appearing in jail attire could unreasonably prejudice his case. As for once convicted you appear in jail attire. He has not been convicted in THIS case, thus the presumption of innocence still exists in THIS case.
He's standing silent? That's a first!😊
A trial gets him out of his cell every day that he is at trial. He gets to see women and other people who aren't convicts and correctional personnel.
Amazing at how well his hearing is working now.
Has he got a shock device on his ankles?
Turns out, I can't be bothered with this malignant wart! I'll catch the next one, Mike.
Darrell has a big ole black eye
Why is he in a wheelchair?
Big Jamal went to town on him.
He's traveling, not driving.
I think he is a wheelchair for security reasons.
I had opined that he might be malingering, but someone suggested that the wheelchair was for restraint purposes.
I think when an inmate is not compliant or a danger, the deputies strap them into a wheelchair.
I would love to hear the judges talking to each other.
Old Judge: That guy is an asshole.
New Judge: I don’t know what you’re talking about…He was a gentleman to me.
Oh I'm sure this new judge is VERY familiar with his previous behavior...
@@laurens1002 everyone is…the banter would be funny though.
They didnt even trust him to drive his own wheelchair
For all the confused people like me when I first saw this. It's because of him running over his girlfriend at the argument before he ran everyone else over. Then the bail jumping and the trying to intimidate a witness. It's cleaning up the outstanding issues against him. Doesn't look like he's enjoying his time away from society and after getting the domestic assault on his record, though I disagree with things that happen to prisoners in prison. He's going to return to a hell he made for himself and possibly for someone like him, a fate worse than death. Still won't admit what he did just to keep torturing people, can't even give a symbolic guilty plea. Horrible person who seemingly hasn't changed.
