Absolutely! He’s escalating in his tantrums. Partly to try to get the jury to doubt, but mainly because his nerves are increasing about his defence & about how the witness is boxing him into a maze. If he’s at court tomorrow & doesn’t get to stay home because he’s got a cold, he’s going to flip out tomorrow. Wish they could video him being taken out of the court when he does lose the plot

@@milesandemilyrockI was a corrections officer before I was a deputy sheriff. I worked at two maximum security prisons, one county jail. In county, we had food to distribute. Mr Brooks would get a meal. They sit in a hot box, until inmates out to work or court return. If for any reason we had no hot meals, we had bag lunches stored in the kitchen for anyone who needed them. We kept emergency items like juice, sugar tubes, for diabetics. I worked booking alone in County. I kept a locker of items to distribute. Even feminine hygiene items for arrested females who may need those upon booking. We were a smaller jail of 100 to 200 at any time. Administration let us do our job, without criticizing how we did it. Handing out food or needed items was a daily occurrence for me. You never forget the inmates are humans too, regardless of how you may feel about them, the law is very clear and you cannot show deliberate indifference.

Definitely because if you listen to him as he's "cross-examining"or questioning his own witnesses, which make no sense at all why he called Juan And the last one regardless, you think too real attorneys that actually know how to ask these questions and think of what a ridiculous a-hole he looks like while he's questioning people. He has no idea what he's talking about and he asks people questions that really aren't relevant to anything. But you best believe you can be sure that every witness is going to be questioned no matter what about the plaintiff and the matter. It's like we've all come to expect it no matter what. Knowing that he gets objections every time, it's all a huge stall tactic so he doesn't have to go sit in prison and become someone's b****

@@MrSmartyPantsNowyou could tell that the only questions he had himself were about the “plaintiff”. He had those ready to fire off. All other questions he has to read and try and put together. It’s like his original lawyers were writing rough draft questions and he took those with no obvious direction of where they go. It’s also why when the judge says “rephrase” he says “idk how” and just asks in a more complicated and confusing way or gives up. It’s also why when a witness says “I don’t understand” he gets mad and puffs his chest and says “I think the question was pretty clear”. He was copying homework from someone who was taking bare minimum notes. He deserved every punishment he got. Unfortunately WI doesn’t have the death penalty. What he eats, when he eats, where and how often he showers, when he has to get up, body cavity searches that take place "without his consent", how many visitors he can have, when he can have visitation, when he uses the phone, what he wears, random searches, etc. Every. It seems unfair that he had to answer questions about his grandkids getting mental health assistance, and especially "how are they doing now?" I would have been sorely tempted to say, "That's none of your business." and perhaps turn to the judge and ask, "Do I really need to answer that question?"

His frustration is so delightful! It is refreshing watching him disintegrate with each witness. He is slowly realizing he is the stupidest person in the room. He will never acknowledge this fact, of course, but he will feel it deep down, and I revel in the knowledge that, at the least, this trial made him realize it.

Darrell’s ignorance was evident to everyone but him. His massive narcissism and grandiose self esteem may never be diminished. He has difficulty learning because he’s incapable of admitting not knowing everything.
For example, Judge Dorow tried to get him learn what hearsay is. He claimed he knew all about it. But almost all of his hearsay objections were over ruled. And he asked many questions involving hear say. When objections were sustained ( not substained) he was puzzled.

It’s so gross how he tries accusing witnesses of having a “financial interest” in the case. HE is the one who spontaneously chose to plow through a Christmas parade route, and he acts like everyone who was injured were there to make money off a horrific attack they couldn’t possibly have known was going to happen. Those poor people would probably give every dime they ever had if doing so would make it so this had never happened.
