@@NutnboujeeIt's legit the funniest thing I've heard within the past 41 hours. May not be funny to you, but I'm willing to die for my belief that it is funny. You gonna challenge me????
Did I hear that right? Guy's facing 5 life sentences and then some, and turns down a 25 year deal? I mean, 25 years is a long time in prison but you'll get out and have some life left to live. 560 years and you're leaving in a box.
The guy didn’t understand Judge Stevens was using an analogy when he talked about shooting people - when asked about trial dates he was worried the Judge thought he shot people. Then the judge did the analogy again, so dude only considered one question: do you want to go to trial quickly? The way the Judge could barely read the error-filled indictments and didn’t delineate what actually happened with each charge. To a notsobright (ie not a LTWM viewer) defendant it probably sounded like a bunch of gobbledygook. Then again it sounds like dude has been to court 100 times, so maybe he’s just playing dumb. I dunno, I’ll ask him in 500 years when he gets out.
I did that myself last year and it was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. To be clear I have literally broken my back multiple times and bounced back. This was a whole 'nother level.
I can't believe a police car crashed into an innocent driver and the state was just granted everything he has ever text and every person he has ever spoken with for the last 3 years. What does that have to do with a police car crashing into him? Also the other lawyer should have advised the prosecutor about his 5th amendment rights after he admitted to doing drugs on new years in open court. That would have been great.
Was it because of potential fraud? I think that was mentioned at one point, and I could understand investigating insurance claims, but every cell on every phone he used in 3 year's sounds like a fishing expedition (as Mike said)
It's unreal that you can go to jail for not having a headlight on your bicycle, let alone be in jail for weeks for not having a bike light. Wtaf kind of law is that?
I think this is in Texas, 551.104 requires that a person has a front light and rear reflector if operating at nighttime. It's still surprising it's a misdemeanor, although it is pretty dangerous to ride a bike with no lights at night, especially on roadways.
I sadly feel like Miss Henry is schizophrenic, she doesn’t need jail or police, she needs to be on a psych unit for awhile, and then a psychiatrist etc, when released. Normally I’m with you Mike, making fun of what we see, but I have to say mental health is no laughing matter. I actually feel bad for that woman, the fact the court hasn’t done a psych evaluation is baffling to me.
I feel this way too, she just needs some help. The fact that Mike and most of the people on this page just makes fun of her says a lot about them. This lady needs some family to step up or at least a case worker to help her fill out her paperwork. She said she's lost her housing And her food stamps, and people just laugh. smh
@@kyfarm Don't worry. Life has a way of humbling arrogant people like that. One day they (or someone they really care about) is gonna need some deep sympathy or empathy. And I'd be lying if I said I hope they don't get it, just so they can understand exactly how cruel they really have been to others.
5 seconds in, State your name. NOT GUILTY!🤣 3rd case: "No, not finally. We are almost there'" Yikes. As I have stated on LTWM comments many times in the past, I live in Texas, for many reasons, and my guess is the juries are going to throw the key away on this bad dude. He is the definition of a habitual menace!😱 How thew F is no light on a bike anything other than a simple ticket and is not an arrestable offense??? Cop, "I just made the bust of the century. I am Dick Tracy!"
You have to link a bank account plus i use cash app if one of my kids need a few bucks here and there and not for drugs! That attorney needs to practice longer-he’s wrong
When the courts see cases like this lady's, that know they are so poor, the punishment shouldn't have been jail. They should have them do some labor work for the benefit of the city.
“Land of the Free” is a sad joke I’m afraid…. I love my country, but I’m not blind, we have a larger percentage of our population in prison than nearly every other country on earth, and a huge percentage of incarcerated people on earth are Americans in America, yet our outcomes are no better, and mostly much worse, than all those democracies that don’t lock up their own people in mind blowing numbers. We got a lot right, but our for profit privatized prison system is very very wrong. It’s easy to just blame our dismal mental health record, but it goes much deeper than that.
The ridiculous thing is this guy in Texas should be in prison for life but everything will be lumped together with a plea and he'll get maybe 5 years and be out in 2.
At least Judge Stevens has said he'd probably run the sentences consecutively, I'd assume that means getting parole in one just means you start serving the next.
I feel for the woman, but like Chili, her grasp on reality has lost its grip. But at the same time we have to hold people accountable for their actions. And Mike thanks for the hit. I know that you will have bad dreams about it tonight
PayPal and Venmo are not Social Media apps in anyway. Just because you are able to put a note as to what the money transfer is for doesn’t make it social media. You definitely need to have bank info attached because it is for money transfer which you can’t do without a bank acct or credit card.
I get and agree that there should be a law that people have lights on their bikes at night. Not only could the bike rider be hurt, but the driver hitting them could be hurt or killed as well. However…. JAIL???? I’d think a ticket at best. Repair and report even! What the hell????
That poor old lady at the end needs someone to take care of her, where are her kids or grandkids? My grandmother was fine living on her own for many more years than the ones she could do all the government red tape. My son and I did all that for her until she finally had to come live with me. Mike is making fun of her, and probably many here are also, but she just needs some help. If not family, maybe even a case worker to fill out paperwork and pay her bills. Geez!
Lol, in fact, I just moved in January. My next door neighbors are two brothers in their late 60s. They're dumb af, are the local crack dealers amongst their fellow elderly family members/neighbors, and just never did anything in life other than blue collar job hopping and/or prison. The older brother, Robert, apparently hasn't updated most of his household electronics from the late 90s/early 2000s. A broken (basically ancient) 200lb flat screen TV sits in his living room, no computer, just a land line & a flip phone he buys minutes for. He sits on his front porch from sunrise to noon just observing the world, then walks to the adjacent house where he sits with another elderly crackhead on his porch til dinner time. That's it. And he keeps asking me if he can hit that, referring to my coworker that occasionally picks me up for work.
W all the internet crime and web sleuths we have across the globe...nobody recognized charge #4 had incorrect dates when read onto the court record in the daybell case. I am thoroughly defeated.

I'm sure there's more to the story. No prosecutor, even in FL, would prosecute that if there wasn't more to it.
