I started watching your family because my hubs is retired Navy and we were thinking of living on a boat. Fell in love with your channel and watch you “just because” now that we’ve moved into a house in SC. My husband paused to watch you with me one day and his words were: “this guy is great. I’d watch him travel anywhere.” He’s a tough customer. So just a quick thumbs up. Your travel content and mix of enthusiasm, history, and adorable family time is a huge hit. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
I still preferred seeing the world through their eyes, and hated to see them give up on their dream of crossing the Pacific Ocean, however some live out the dream with a family, some enter another stage of life, but families grow up and dreams return in another stage of life, or they don't...
Loved this video! Waking up to you all on Saturdays is a fantastic way to start the weekend! Your enthusiasm whether on land or the ocean is addicting. Turns out the Sailboat was not the main reason we watch!! Be well and be safe!!
She's a girl, yay! As content goals, I love sailing. But! I also love travel, fixer uppers, projects, nature, and homesteading. So, you're still in my zone! 😊
I am loving the land adventures and the beauty of the Appalachians! As when you were sailing to new destinations, I enjoy not only seeing the beautiful landscapes, but also hearing about the history of each location and meeting interesting people along the way that add to the story of a particular area. I, for one, will continue to look forward to your new videos each week!
I’ve been watching your show for 3-4 yrs with my husband and we’ve just loved traveling with you. We feel kind of like family going through all your adventures with you!- We would thoroughly enjoy adventures in our great United States! I’ve also enjoyed Desiree’s cooking! It’s always healthy and looks great! Would love to hear the ingredients in each dish! We watch from Killeen, TX & look forward to your show every Sat. morning!
My husband and I have been following along on your journey for the past 5 years and we feel like we know you guys 😂 We’ve laughed and cried (well, mostly just me) and felt your joys and frustrations. Every Saturday we look forward to seeing what you’ve been up to and are so excited for your new adventures! We have family in Ellijay and every time we visit, I leave a piece of my heart. These past couple of weeks seeing you in Blue Ridge and Dahlonega have been very exciting! As long as you guys are willing to allow us to be a part of your lives, we are here for it ☺️🙌🏼
There are some that only wanted sailing. I feel those of us that keep watching will get so much more! I Love your love for family, adventure and how you tell a story, history, and fun facts. You have not wavered of your motto "know your world." it holds true on water and land! Keep on being you! Thank you for bringing us along!
You guys make every phase of your lives an adventure, and I know you'll keep doing what feels right for you. My only concern right now is your access to medical care, but I'm sure you've considered that, too. Love your realtor, the fisherman, and so many of the folks you've met and introduced us to over the years. Helps restore my faith in humanity.
I wasn't sure I would be happy watching the transition from sailing to land based travel but you guys are killing it. I love how well you research the areas that you travel to and then pass along some knowledge to us, the viewers. I am looking forward to following along as you continue to "know your world (and now also your country)" and to watch as your family grows. Thanks for taking us along!
I started off by watching your sailing channel because I have an interest in boats and travel and history. When you changed venues I wondered if I would lose interest, but I havn't. There is still the travel and the lust for life. It was then I realized I was hooked by the family, and not so much sailboats and oceanlife and travel. Not only that, how could ANYBODY leave Isabella?? So, yeah, I'm in for the journey. Looking forward to you guys picking the particular section of the Appalachain mountains you decide to settle. Thanks for sharing, you guys are super parents, raising the family very, very well IMO.
What I have really appreciated with your videos is, wherever you’re at, y’all give a lot of information about that place. It’s history, culture, cool sites to see, etc. You do a great job of taking us there.
I mostly enjoyed watching you do projects and upgrades to the sailboat. Please take this into consideration for future videos. Good luck to you guys with future adventure.
Having visited 8 countries, Israel, Greece, Spain, Italy etc while in the Navy, 49 us states. Your new chapter is interesting. Keep up Keeping up. You have a following now, and people want to watch the girls grow. Learning and watching you two fix up a new home, is great. I would say, being out doors, take some fly fishing lessons, learn to tie also, you won't be sorry......
My favorite is the travel , brief history, great filming and you guys. I look forward to you sharing your adventures every Saturday morning. Whatever your directions I’ll tune in as you guys are my favorite show on TV (not just RUclips).
Would definitely watch more travel content on you vlog. You guys are the best! Interesting story telling mixed with history and wholesome family life! 🤗💞
The scenery is beautiful guys thank you for sharing aww your getting another daughter I have three all grown up now . Isabella is lovely she is around same age as my grandson watching you from Edinburgh Scotland ❤️
Oh ok.. Love you guys. Watched since way before kiddos. listen...When you find your home plant trees right away!So many of youtuber s I have watched always regret not doing it. Have fun!
There are many beautiful lakes in northern Georgia and Tennessee where you guys could live on a houseboat. The best of both worlds for your family. Please keep making your videos for us. ❤️ you guys and I have been following you since the beginning.
I'm watching no matter what you're doing or where you are doing it! I love the lessons in geography and history!! And watching Issa is a true bonus!!✌️💜
While I do miss your sailing content, I really enjoy these videos of Georgia. I love the mountains of Georgia. Please keep making these mountain, fishing, camping adventure videos. 😊
I’ve been watching and patronizing the Project for a long time now. I did come originally for the vicarious sailing experience (I have my own land-locked experience raising a family in a micro-urban environment ( that’s euphemistic for “it was a VILLAGE 25 year’s ago, now it’s a damned suburb!”). Of course I love Jordan and Desire’s talent with video making (amazing buds), it’s what’s keeping me hooked, for the moment. But I can also sense what pressure there must be to keep this both lively and a money earning prospect. I think I’m in it now just to see how it evolves. Well that and I love the family that I’ve never met. lol In the end, life takes us all on a number of different paths, family is most important ( I say that tongue in cheeks with two 20-something boys) and there are no regrets as all you have accomplished and will accomplish is special and enriching (whether “we” get to be your voyeurs or not).
This brings back memories of me with my then-4-month-old daughter on my back in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park in the summer of 1996. The Appalachians are absolutely fantastic! (She's 28 now, and still spectacular!)
Loving this Vlogging you are doing. Enjoying the travel through the mountains. It will be a great place to have a home base. I am along for the ride. 🥰
Loving this content. Considering that when you were sailing more than half the content was the destinations and not the sailing, it is great to see you continue that aspect of your videos. The murder house was creepy as hell, run away!
Retired Navy. Followed you for years before the babies. Love much Keep Traveling and making vids. I’m “older then dirt’ but when I grow up I want to be Jorden 🖖
I lived in Colorado 4 years,I was Army ft Carson, went trout fishing all over the state with my platoon buddies, we always gutted them, sprinkle salt and pepper, a couple tablespoons of butter wrap in foil, cook on grill, in oven or campfire coals
I have lived most of my 67 years in the Appalachian Mountains from New Jersey to Virginia, most of it in West Virginia. I started watching you two because of the sailboat and I love sailing! When you announced that you were selling your boating, I said this is where we part company. However, more than sailing I love living in the mountains, camping, hiking, white water rafting, canning, fly fishing etc. If this is your goal, then you have me for a few more years!! PLEASE KEEP UP THE VIDEOS!!!!
I started watching you guys during Covid and have been watching ever since. Please continue with the travel content. We purchased a hard side pop up camper in 2017 and have been out west 4 times with our longest trip lasting one month....we're both teachers. We love the Appalachian mountains and specifically Great Smokey Mountains NP. Want to get to north GA to go to the southern terminus of the AT. So yes keep up the content!!!
My husband and I are both in our 70's and have enjoyed vagabonding by both boat and motorhome for many years now. We love following the adventures of you and your little family, so yes please keep it coming!
Came for the sailing content staying for whatever comes next. As a former blue water sailor turned land lubber, I can relate so much to you guys. Hope you find a great place!
I have watched your channel for many years, so how ever it changes I will support! I hope to walk the Appalachian trail one day so I love your future content might include the area! I’m team Project Atticus!
Totally enjoying your travel videos. Wonderful area and please continue sharing your adventures after your settle down. I love that you show us info about the house, including the asking price. I like your real estate agent and her honesty.
Living in the Appalachian region of Mountains is life changing for me and my family. It’s so beautiful and we get such good overall rainfall it keeps things much less worrisome from fires. Also, there is nothing as beautiful as the Mist coming up from the valleys on a cool brisk morning and below over our mountain. I always feel like I live in God’s place
I've been here since the Umatticus games & to be honest, I'm still adjusting to you guys being a family channel - let alone a family channel that lives on dry land... but regardless you are beautiful kind people & I appreciate following your journey - never stop documenting it. Never compromise on making the choices that feel right to you. Your life. Your journey. We just tune in for 30 mins to get the best parts of each week. Also the Real Estate Lady's conversations with Jordan are hilarious. So I guess your currently a Real Estate channel now too... Then when you move in, you'll be a home renovation channel. Then who knows what>? but who cares... We watch you because you are our para-social best friends.
Pleaase yes, absolutely will watch travel content, or anything you do! Great episode once again. What a beautiful country. I always learn a lot. Thanks for all the hard work that goes into creating these for us viewers.
GREAT VIDEO GUYS BEAUTIFULL PLACES GLAD YOURE GETTING ACCUSTOMED WITH A COMPLETE DIFFERENT SURROUNDINGS , YOURE GREAT TO APPLY YOURSELVES VERY EASILY TO A DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT GOD BLESS YOU BOTH LOOKING GOOD , SEE YA
Bruce and Linda here. You are a very much younger version of us. We had family first and lived in the country mostly and all over this country, 17 states we’ve lived in, now being on a little island in the southern Puget Sound , going between there and our boat home on the east coast after finishing the Great Loop. You all got Bruce hooked on the Mediterranean but I’m a statesider. We love watching your adventures and do hope you’ll keep up recording. Our kids are all grown and some Grands are now grown and life is good. The adventures continue. Good luck to you and, by the way, we’re from Georgia and the carolinas and look forward to seeing where you end up 😄
I enjoy every video and the knowledge of the places you visit. I cannot wait to see the family grow and the warmth of family. Congrats on the growing family.
We started watching for the sailing and boat work in the beginning. We continued to watch because you are making great quality content and your home hunting is the same. Keep it up! Namaste. 🙏
I have followed your channel for years. This edition is quite interesting because in your journeys you passed about .4 miles from our home (between Dahlonega and Amicalola falls) Small world!
Dude, I was in Dahlonega then too! We live fairly close, it's beautiful. You can't go wrong w/ North GA mountains, absolutely beautiful little towns and amazing views.
Love the north GA mountains! My Dad & Stepmom live in Blairsville which is next to Blue Ridge. Can't imagine a better place to raise your sweet girls! I love watching RVers and Vanlifers! Planning on buying a campervan in a couple years. Going to start working remotely soon. Going to live in Hawaii for a year and then want to have a campervan built out and travel from state to state. I watched you sail the world knowing I would never be able to do that so I will definitely watch you now that you're doing something that I dream about! Love these videos!
Still as excited to see your videos every Saturday morning then I was 6 years ago when I started catching up. This local home town style is reminiscent of the videos you were making when you were prepping Atticus 2 to set sail. The added local nature exploration aspect is very welcome too. Composition, editing and narration are still top notch as always. I can't believe we get this for free. Loving it!
I’m loving the travel content. I gave recently moved to Roanoke VA and am loving having the mountains around me. Houses go for a great price and its smaller town living without being in the boonies.
Loved watching you traveling around in Atticus 1&2 BUT are excited to watch you take on this new adventure if travel in the RV!! Wishing you and the family all the best! Keep exploring!
West Virginia! We’ve been watching you for along time here in the mountains of West Virginia! We can definitely find you a better place than that here in the mountains!! Keep the videos coming!!
I'm sure you have researched many avenues to take with owning a house, but after remodeling 3 homes and now in my 70's, I am looking at building my own house.(There is a reason McDonald's never remodels and always builds new) The kits available now are amazing. I can see you finding that perfect piece of ground near a river or lake and taking us along while you build your dream home. Thank you for sharing your life with us. You guys are amazing.
Seeing y’all in a terra firma, deciduous context only humanizes more the HUMAN experiences that made me follow in the first place. Carry on, ya lovelies
Tallulah Gorge is where 'Deliverance' was filmed. There is a gift shop along the road which give you access to view along the gorge edge and can look across to the opposite side. When we were there we parked down the road to an open area and saw a split rail fence and followed it only to end up at the gift shop which was closed at the time. Good views. Also there is a restaurant not far from Clayton called the Dillard House, which serves the whole menu in an AUCE fashion. Our family always headed to Clayton to take the family to go snow sledding. Also Scaly Mountain is close by (skiing). The one thing we really loved, the water in the area is naturally soft, unlike Florida's hard water. So to shower in the water your skin feels so soft. Highlands GA is mostly Air Bn"B, alot of waterfalls along the way. Also Bridal Veil Falls- you can drive under the falls. Enjoying the memories as we get to see once again the once visited sights. Thanks for bringing back the once traveled roads. Old 441 has some areas in which one can look out and enjoy the colors of the changing foliage exposing valleys. Enjoy!
Fun video. Glad you're staying closer to the grandparents. Maybe a home that's more move in condition for Desiree and the babies. It's expensive to do a total redo. I'm leaning towards a neighborhood with school bus stops for the kids, trick or treat neighborhoods, near the ocean and another sailboat for weekend trips..❤
As much as I’m enjoying your adventures, I can’t wait to see what you choose for your home landing. You’ve definitely given me a new appreciation for the Appalachian mountains. I’ve been to the NE sector of the U.S. and found it to be an awesome and beautiful place, filled with history and intrigue. Yet both similar and different from where I grew up, Idaho to Washington and Oregon. The joke has always been, Florida has more rain than Washington. Shhh, don’t tell anyone. We like to keep that a secret. Some day I hope you’ll get out west to experience the greenery and mountains of the northwest where grand mountains stand high and proud, days filled sailing the sound, north to Alaska and winding your way along highways through seaside villages. We recently retuned to retire in Idaho where the Sawtooth mountains and high desert amazes us everyday with its rugged mountains, astounding sunrises, wide open skies and gorgeous sunsets. A place where we too explore the landscape, enjoy the peace of fly fishing and upland bird hunting, powder skiing, and where dogs and kids can run and play openly. A down home community where the worries of a bustling city are forgotten. Vegetable stands dot the local roads and our beef is delivered to our doorstep. Yet, a city filled with entertainment, shopping, and friends, just five miles down the road. I don’t know of any other country that offers the beauty, freedom, and diversity that the U.S. provides. I wish you an amazing journey on your travels here on land and hope you find that perfect place, where you can sit back with a cup of coffee on a brisk morning, enjoying the ever expanding family and its’ laughter of kids playing kick ball, and freedom to roam. Here’s to your new adventures 🎉 Please! Keep us all posted on your evolving journey.
I started watching your family because my hubs is retired Navy and we were thinking of living on a boat. Yes, what she said!
I still preferred seeing the world through their eyes, and hated to see them give up on their dream of crossing the Pacific Ocean, however some live out the dream with a family, some enter another stage of life, but families grow up and dreams return in another stage of life, or they don't...
Consider a boat house.

Yes please continue to make these videos. You are a very good storyteller and video maker.
Agreed!
Loved this video! Waking up to you all on Saturdays is a fantastic way to start the weekend! Your enthusiasm whether on land or the ocean is addicting. Turns out the Sailboat was not the main reason we watch!! Be well and be safe!!
You said Daughters!!! Means the new baby is a sister for Isa! How fabulous. So excited for you guys
I heard it as well!! Came here to see if anyone else did. 😅
Me too. Have they confirmed that it will be a girl?
Ditto! Congrats to them!! 🎉👶🏻🩷
I caught that too! Congrats, another baby girl. How exciting.
She's a girl, yay! As content goals, I love sailing. But! I also love travel, fixer uppers, projects, nature, and homesteading. So, you're still in my zone! 😊

Your land-based explorations provide the same quality content as your previous sea-based adventures. Keep it up!
Well done Mrs Tech, he did not make that easy for you to record. So much gratitude for both of you!
We love your content. It doesn’t matter where you are, land or sea. Keep it up! Phil and Vivienne Pitts

It's called "Sailing" Project Atticus 😂
You guys make every phase of your lives an adventure, and I know you'll keep doing what feels right for you. My only concern right now is your access to medical care, but I'm sure you've considered that, too. Love your realtor, the fisherman, and so many of the folks you've met and introduced us to over the years. Helps restore my faith in humanity.

Enjoyed this video as we always following you guys along your trip of life!!!
Keep making this content!! Love this area where you are! I have a home in the Franklin NC area and absolutely love the area!!
Loving it!
Exploration is half the fun of finding your own place. Home search a fine term for what you are trying to do. Keep going and be well!
Love what you are doing! Wishing you you the best. 💗
I’m loving the travel content. I gave recently moved to Roanoke VA and am loving having the mountains around me. Houses go for a great price and its smaller town living without being in the boonies.
Actually I’m liking this more than the sailing part! Great job keep them coming!
Please keep going!! I’m so fond of your family, just as if you were one of my grown kids 😊
Love your videos ~ great balance of family info and tours food blogging great as well
Loved watching you traveling around in Atticus 1&2 BUT are excited to watch you take on this new adventure if travel in the RV!! Wishing you and the family all the best! Keep exploring!
Just found your channel. I’m two videos in and love the content. Keep it coming.
Love you guys! But I miss the blue water & sailing content. Isabela is adorable. Safe travels. ❤
Enjoy!
yes id love to see u guys traveling content
We loved watching
I've watch you from the beginning ❤ I live in Hiawasse Georgia just east of Blue Ridge please don't miss it
I’ve been watching since you were working on Atticus One. Love this new adventure 👍👍👍
Three years ago, you made me want to buy a sailboat. Now, I want a log cabin in the mountains! 🤣
It's nice to see Georgia getting some love.
