I have the Z1 and know people who also agree that this thing is a blast to ride on. I can’t get enough, just simple and looks great. got it for the $1100 sale price and totally worth it imo. I wouldnt have paid $1400 for it though, I’d expect more features for that price.

The reason why I love this bike so much is because you can easily mod it. Put on a bigger battery, a small led screen some lights and mirrors and you still have an E bike under $1600 that looks awesome. I’ve had this bike for almost a year now and It was my best decision ever

These are fun bikes BUT! we bought two super73 Z1 bikes back in October of 2021. So its been what 7 months? One bike has had more than 6 flat tires all on the rear tire. Numerous brake problems. Both bikes came with squeaky brakes. This is a high maintenance bike and thank God for the numerous videos on how to fix it yourself because getting someone to fix these bikes is hard to find and expensive! And like Ellen J said down below customer service is not good for the amount you pay for these bikes.

@S R I have a Lectric XP. But even I know you won't get something like this or even a Lectric for $699. That's just not reasonable.
You know, this is on the right track here, simple design, no frills, comfortable enough, and forgoing the peddle assist; if more companies did THIS BUT made it top out at 28 mph (for some areas legal restrictions), AND actually had a real world range of say 60(?) miles, then you'd have a great ebike, which *should* be able to be made very inexpensively....

This is good ebike for project. Just make a nice big swappable battery, bump up some voltage, and have some fun.
My favorite part of this bike is that still looks like a mid 80s BMX bike and you can barely tell it's electric

Could you please include some measurements in future videos or reviews?
Something like the overall lenght from front to back and the height from the contact patch and the top of the handle bars.
The question I ask myself is if it fits in my apartment building's elevator.
My husband bought us both one of these new bikes (S2 and RX) as anniversary gifts. Within the first week, both gave error messages and then the motors went out completely. Needless to say we are bummed out. No way to reach the company for help so we called our credit card provider for a chargeback. I hope this helps someone before they make the same mistake.

I like the hidden battery! How theft proof is the battery? awkward to pedal while on throttle? Actually like the simplicity of one gear, no suspension, no fancy display. Possible to charge this directly with a solar panel? possible to charge with 12v power?
I was going to buy one but I built a full suspension mountain with a 2000W hub motor that has max range of 50 miles and 45 mph top speed for top price of £1200

S R nah it seems legitimate for the most part. (That range is questionable but then again, when is it never) you can get a full suspension bike for $300-600 a 2000w hub kit for $250-500 and a battery for about $300, it all seems to make sense. I built one similarly that costed upwards of about $1300 until I sold it
Well, that's illegal where I live. Maximum for my area is 500W for an assisted, unless it's registered.
S R No offense but it’s not like the guy has to prove it to you or anything, and if you do that right math it makes sense, the only information you know is that the bike is full suspension and has a 2000w hub motor, which doesn’t necessarily mean he’s only pushing out 2000w it could be a lot more, especially if he has a 72v battery and a 50A controller which is certainly capable of reaching speeds of 45+mph. If you want to see it to believe it then you yourself can simply look it up as they have plenty of videos of it being done. After all, that’s what RUclips is for.....

The hill is Armstrong Ave in Los Angeles, next to the Silverlake reservoir, and yes it is much steeper than it appeared.
Would love one of these in UK. But honestly I know its probably not the best for a 5 mile commute each way. But regardless I still want it...

Might be fine for Florida, except needing a motorcycle license to ride it. A lot of the bikes in Korea are 2000watt and up for just a little more money.

Hi was curious If anyone knows an answer to this question. I’m planning on ordering 2 of these bikes but my question is without pedal assist if I run out of power and or I just want to pedal is it hard to pedal or heavy ? Since it doesn’t have pedal assist?

Sweet design, but needs more battery and power for sure.... I was considering this bike, but went with the Zooz instead. Zooz is a few hundred bucks more but you get so much more bike, with similar seat style, higher speeds, and much more range.

@@MegamanTheSecond for $1500 you can get a class 3 with lights, fenders, a rack and LCD display, multiple gears, cruise control with 750 watts of power. The Z1 is an absolute non competitor ebike.

The height of seat no recommended for europe.because in europe version without throttle and only pedal assist your knees kiled. Beautiful bike but for very short people or kids. I prefere go cycle gx.

you need a 1000 watt bike if you want to go up hills . i have the 500 watt super 73 and it is not worth a dime when it goes up hills...
@S R customer service was pretty bad last year.. it got a little better but super 73 was not very responsive . super 73 had celebrity support . i think i am going to try the scooters where you stand up on it.

My fat tire folding ecotric has lcd display, 48 v 13 ah battery, 500 watt rear hub motor, pedal assist and can be set to go 25+mph and i only paid 920$ after sale so yea this thing is waayyy over priced its like buying an aleinware pc but you can build a better one for cheaper analogy. They think since they make high end e bikes that they can slap there name on this over priced junk and rip you off.

Sure, but then it wouldn't be a bike anymore. This means it would be either a moped, or a motorcycle. Then it would require insurance and a licence to operate. Those pedals are your friend legally.

Depends , have friends with both , both using their bikes way different , super 73 is super bike for a city driving , attention grab , something different and with versions for 2.5k and up pretty speedy , alto in moment you want to try to pedal it or use at bicycle it sucks totally , other one is just bicycle on steroids

why is it these ebike reviewers never reveal how tall they are? Lately I've been finding out (the hard way) that just about all the ebike reviewers on youtube are over 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds. The ONLY way to know that is to watch several of their videos until you find one where they accidentally let information slip about their height, weight, and age. So naturally when they review a bike like this super73z1, they're going to say pedaling sucks because their fucking knees raise above the handlebars while pedaling and it feels awkward to them. They don't seem to want to acknowledge the fact that not everyone is over 6 feet tall and not every bike is made for everyone. The ebike reviewers on youtube have pretty much shut out everyone who is shorter than 6 feet tall as far as relevancy in their reviews. I think this is doing a great disservice to the ebike industry and the viewers who look to these reviews when trying to decide if a bike is right for them.

I've got several eBikes and regular bikes, including a "stealth" 250 watt eBike with a completely hidden battery and no display whatsoever. Gotta admit roasting Lycra riders especially up hills is the most fun you can have on any bicycle.

Over a grand for a 15mile range? Yeah they're advertising team is great but they are way overpriced. From what I've seen the JuicedBikes CampScrambler is easily the best bike in this style and price range.
I could convert a BMX into an Ebike for less then £200 smh. I'd rather spend a grand on a decent motorbike, they're more worth it.

The good news is that the batteries are actually rechargeable. Opens the door to a second hour of fun, or more!
