I have one and it's great for what it is. A little cramped is my only complaint. I get 17 miles on a charge using throttle only and not pedaling at all. I get easily over 20 with some pedaling mixed in
Yeah I'm a short guy and I can imagine it would be much more cramped for averaged sized folks. 17 miles without pedaling is not bad! I haven't tried testing the range yet. I want to make sure I plan my route accordingly so I don't get stuck pedaling this thing back home. :)
Gotta say it's possible to have the brakes provide more stopping power to the wheels than the wheels have for traction to the ground. The sound of the stopped tires skidding is horrendous when you first hear it that's for sure
I like the hidden battery! How theft proof is the battery? awkward to pedal while on throttle? Actually like the simplicity of one gear, no suspension, no fancy display. Possible to charge this directly with a solar panel? possible to charge with 12v power?
Battery is not completely theft proof but it would require a lot of disassembly to get to it, the bike is so light a thief could easily just pick it up and go. Not awkward to pedal and throttle at all, it's actually quite natural. Charging it with a solar panel is possible but I don't have much info on that. The battery requires 36v charge.

I think the Anza looks great! Honestly it doesn't even matter what bike you get as long as YOU enjoy it. For audio I use the Zoom F2-BT mic recorder with 32-bit float recording.

You should probably mention that the helmet you’re wearing isn’t safe for riding at those speeds on the streets. That’s a snowboard helmet that will collapse on impact and further injure riders

Hey Rod, yup it comes with a charger. I didn't even know what the Michael Blast Outsider was until you just mentioned it. Specs look kind of similar but from the website it says the rear hub motor is only 250w. I think the Super73 Z1's 500w motor is probably more powerful. But it also depends on where you live. Michael Blast ships primarily in Australia and Super73 ships in the US so there's also some price considerations there.
Hey Michael! I think you may feel slightly cramped on the Z1 although it would depend on your riding style. Most people around your height tend to sit more towards the rear and don't often do much pedaling. Imagine riding a BMX bike but not having to pedal. It's smaller but that's by design. I'd also take into account the kind of riding you're looking to do. If we're talking about riding miles and miles in open country the S or R series is probably better. If we're talking about tooling around the neighborhood and running errands here and there, the Z1 is ideal. It can also fit into trucks or SUVs if you ever want to take it on a trip somewhere. So just a few things to consider. If you we're 6'3" or something I think it's probably an automatic yes to the bigger models. Hope thats helpful man! Good luck and lemme know what u end up getting!

Not too bad unless you're over 6 feet. But it's really just to help out the motor, not something your gonna be using with just pedal power.

I don't think the battery range and speed would be enough for deliveries. I'd look into the S2 or RX.
