    These look more stylish and unique to me than any of the boring common high end wacthes I see every man wearing. I would love to own one of these, the more patina the better.

    I wish they would release this case in a stainless steel version. Bronze isn't for me but this case size, open back, few more dial choices and stainless steel and I'm in.

    I’ve got both major competitors - a BB58 and spb143j, but boy oh boy, was I shocked by how special it is after trying it out. I’m very much inclined to get the pink version and the trio of retro divers is gonna be the best part of my collection no matter what I add to it later on. What a time to get into watch collecting.

    Thanks for the excellent video and showing how the bronze is aging and showing patina. My lady was all over it when she saw the press release of the Cotton Candy series and I could hardly talk her out of it, emphasizing that it is NOT gold but bronze and losing its shine quickly. Now there is proof and she is looking out for a gold watch instead...

  • @phil5611
    @phil5611 3 года назад +16

    Oris is stepping out with these dial colors matched with bronze case and bracelet and I dig it. This will give the micro brands a run for their money and I could definitely see one on my wrist except for the price they are charging in a very competitive bracket. The cool factor falls short of the premium price tag in my opinion.

    I’m so fascinated by these bronze cases from oris and I love the combination with these dual colours. It’s daring and fun, I love it and if I could afford it right now I definitely would get the green one myself. I would like to see an even older patina bronze watch to truly get a feel of what it looks like after months or years. Thanks teddy, great job as always 👍🏻

    I get why bronze and silver are polarizing. The more I see the patina on these cases, the more I like it. Clearly if one wants a perfectly polished case at all times, then steel or even gold are no-brainers, but as a unique, interesting, and fun option they are so cool! Thanks for the review!

    Wow! That Bronze formulation looks more like pure copper. Even when shiny and new.
    The patina looks quite extreme and I agree with other comments that it looks dirty.
    The patina on my Bronze Tudor is way more subtle even after months of hard use it just looks vintage and has stabilised so should not get that dirty look.
    Great to see a real world review of the watches as some people might get a bit of a shock in the direction their shiny new watch ages!

    Thanks Teddy for a video that shows the bronze aged in real life.... and I like it. The blue maybe the green..... I'd have to look at the 2 side by side if possible. I have no issues with the SW200 movement either, easy and cheap to regulate and service by a professional. I'd guess people will buy buy these to wear then sell due to the aging, I'd be more than happy with one.

    I’m a bit too boring in my watch preferences (black dial/stainless steel case, lather, rinse and repeat 🤣) to be able to pull one of these off but I think they look really fun and summery.
    Great idea to show the bronze cases with a bit of patination too 👍 Would have loved to have seen how they clean up with a bit of lemon juice 🍋🧽 Always blows my mind seeing how that bronze shine comes back.

    With the Big Crown Pointer Heritage, which I think one of the greater side of bronze watches. Oris nailed bronze watches beautifuly.. and when I know they released this, to have a full bronze watch that'll patina as a hole --just like a whole stainless or gold-- I thought they were crazy, and I love it.. a whole bronze watches.. everyone wants it, but barely anybody does it because you wouldn't want patina on your hand.. but if there is one manufacturer that does it.. Oris would be the perfect fabricant to do it. Surely, a bold move from Oris.. and the thing that only enthusiast can appreciate for... a whole bronze watch, a collector would want it...

    I never really got caught nor understood the bronze trend recently due to the exact reason why it's gotten so popular: the patina. Really great dense content the last few weeks but at some point Oris cannot convince a good number of the watch lovers to buy it as it's not that reliable style compared to the price point and it may suit the female market well if they add small touches to make it a bit more smooth finished at the bezel

    Might be the first RUclips watch review with no review of the bracelet. Bronze watches come with a stainless case back because the bronze very often turns ones skin green. I sold a bronze Turtle homage because enough of the bronze case rested on my skin that I would have 2 green crescents on my wrist at the end of the day. I can't imagine wearing a bronze bracelet. Nice job just blowing past that. Otherwise a great looking watch.
