One thing that I have always appreciated about Bandai model kits is the fact that they are willing to reprint old kits so relative newcomers to the hobby like me can still explore the different eras of kits without paying 2nd hand prices.
Absolute respect for tackling a kit of this kind! And seeing your other videos tackling minor customizing I think you're getting there! So nice to see my favourite toy content creator tackling something I'm very passionate about which is Gunpla 🫶
I find it a funny coincidence that your old vids on Jangbricks made me want a bunch of Lego sets, and now as I’m older and just now getting into Gunpla, youre making me want to buy a bunch of kits 😅
It’s kinda astounding to think about the fact that the PG Zaku II came out in 1999, so in just under a decade, Gunpla engineering went from hollow and somewhat goofy looking to full inner frame with opening panels, moving pistons and other minutiae with a much more “cool” aesthetic. I’m not bashing the original 1/60, by the way, I really do appreciate it, but thinking about the rapid advancements is very interesting to me.
YEP the eye got keyed out in the wide view, everybody sees it!
Funny thing is that in the first half of the short it appears green, which is another common colour for monoeyes. Dark blue though? Looks interesting.

I built an original 1\144 scale Zaku2. I now have it strapped to an ho scale railroad flat car
Awesome vintage Zaku, hopefully we get the reprint of the Mega Size next year.
Me too. Seeing a Mega Zaku being built on Twitch is what finally got me into Gundam. I look forward to completing the circle!

Oh my, that's definitely one of my grails just because it's an oldie
