Hi Clark, happy new year and thanks for posting this video! Quick question...how different (if any) are your goals on the front cover vs the ones in the back? Or do they complement each other? I usually only write my goals for the year in the front cover, but I am curious about the link between both covers. Thanks in advance

Love your videos man! If you want to avoid out of focus shots, you can do so by grabbing focus on your face and then turning off AF. Since your face doesn't change the plane of focus hardly ever, you'll likely be good setting your camera to f4 or f5.6.

Wow! "Stop looking for the answers ...start listening for the answer." So powerful.
I struggled with journaling for so long. I could never "stick with it". I would start and then stop... over and over and over again. Im a bit of a nerd so I decided to build a journaling app (Compound Journal) so that I felt "obligated" to actually stick with it. So glad i made that decision - I now journal every day and it's been life changing. The number one question I wanted to ask myself at the end of the day is "if I could re-do today, what would I do different?" It's been such a meaningful question of reflection. Thanks for these videos Clark!

I highly recommened journalling and finding your own way of doing so. Keep it organic so your journal evolves along with you.

@@lordvader7516 Actually you can manifest what you want to. But basically, the way we think of ourselves will reflect outwardly towards to the world.
Example: You think you can never achieve things and are rubbish at (skill here).
The negative energy associated with that thought will keep you from getting good at that skill.
So, watch your thoughts. If they are "bad" find out why they happen and replace them for an abundant mindset.
      I am good at this...
      I can achieve my goals...
      Etc.
Gain a positive outlook and watch yourself become better (Higher frequency and will attract more positive things into your life.)

Through the past few years I've started to enjoy writing down my thing's I want/need to get done and this year I've started a journal. Every morning when I wake up I write down how I'm feeling upon waking up and how I feel the day will go. Then I write down some goals/tasks I want to accomplish that day and mark them whenever they get completed. So far, I've been able to do 90% of the things I've written down each day and it has honestly become something I look forward to every morning. Thank you for the amazing video!

As a guy who recently picked up journaling as a way to make some progress in my life and get some direction, I have found that it snowballs. What I mean is that at first I was like "oh, I don't know, I'll just write a little something about how I'm feeling" and as I do that more and more I start to make more sense of WHY I am journaling - to improve my life and my own mental wellbeing, to find some more direction in life and explore ideas on what might be holding me back and how to overcome these things to name a few. Also, I found that putting my journal somewhere OBVIOUS with a pen right next to it allowed me to journal more because I removed any obstacles from doing it. I never had it buried in a bag somewhere out in the car when I was home so it'd have required a lot of effort if I wanted to jot something down. This allows me to be more active and jot something down when I want to. Hope this helps :)

I keep a separate journal for finding the positive in everyday and writing down things I'm grateful for. I vowed to never write anything negative in it although I have days that are filled with negativity. The other journal is for writing about my emotions and writing about my day rather it's good or not. I don't hit both everyday but I end the night with writing in the gratitude journal because it's a good way for me to end the night. Also burning some essential oil and lighting a candle puts me in the mood. This stuff has worked for me, maybe you could check it out!

Clark, Thank you very much for teaching me your journaling style! Before this I was never a person who did journaling. Instead I was a person with long ass To do's lists. Even personal things were on my To do lists , like lose weight or goals that I wanted to reach. I started using your 6 section method of journaling and man it changed the game completely for me. I totally agree with you, my journals are now the most important and cool books I own. I see my progress, hold my self accountable. Work on different areas of my life (work , rest , play ) . I work on understanding myself and most important coach myself! I recommend this journaling method to everyone. The nicest thing is that at the beginning you start with an empty canvas and at the end with so much ideas, lessons and a better version of yourself! Thank you and keep it up!!

I am in my middle fifties now and still do this. I’m now incorporating your number at the beginning of my book now as I only have 13,140 days left (if I’m lucky) and will also incorporate your “lessons from the year” tool too. All I can say it's not easy. Trying to get my head up. So much of my life has changed and it messed me up some. But I am still okay. Just need to pass this month and make more happen.

Great video! I really like the 6 in 1 concept to keep everything in one place rather than spreading and preserving your thoughts throughout multiple journals! :)

did you ever find it? I bought a sketchbook for 10 bucks, I really like it and it's close to what he has but it doesn't really have a lot of pages so I'm afraid it's gonna run out if I use it a lot

I love love love your channel, thank you so much for sharing such helpful tips! If I may just make one request, would you be open to reconsidering assigning "masculine" energy to traits representing hard work and analytical thought? I understand this idea comes from the Ying Yang philosophy, but without explanation this might really be detrimental to a lot of women watching your videos (especially young women). I believe you will be especially understanding since you are very aware of the power of the subconscious. Thank you
