- When I got this call I was only 10 minutes away in the Zacklift, but thought it was farther up the road into the deep snow. So I drove over a half hour back home to switch trucks and bring the Dodge out. Unfortunately I forgot the ice chocks that I needed to keep the truck still, but I got creative with a couple of shackles and was able to use the @harborfreight Apex winch to get the car pulled back onto the road without too much trouble

😂 Grumpy’s “I hate Casey LaDelle” parting shot was ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS 🥰
Hilarious!
DITTO !! I teared-up laughing😂 👏
NOTHING beats a Grumpy
co-pilot 👍 .
Loved it
😂😂😂
that was hilarious
you clearly didn't forget the most important thing, Grumpy was right there!
On 3/16 we were coming back on the 97 to Silverlake Rd. Headed to Silver lake/Christmas Valley. A young girl sat for 1/2 hr before we showed up trying to get help and no one stopped. She had ran off the road like this one and ended up in the snow bank. We stopped and stayed with her as she had been in contact with the sheriff dept. and they had called a wrecker already for the young girl. They said the wrecker was one hour out. As one of your Patreon members, I would have called you. 4 hrs later the wrecker showed up and charged her over 1,300 and it was dry pavement and not even half as bad as this one. So glad that you help as many folks as you do.
Some people. ! Thats hiway robbery without a gun .
God saw what the wrecker driver did. He's the final judge.
Nice to see "Grumpy"" out again !!!
Welcome back Grumpy, you have been missed in the shows.
LOL at Grumpy! We too hate Casey Ladelle Grumpy ! HAHAH! 😂 It is ALWAYS GOOD to see Grumpy! 👍💯
Casey. Bring grumpy with you all the time us old people need to be recognize for our wealth of knowledge and good attitude
Somebody needs a garage for his trucks, and by garage I sort of mean aircraft hangar.
That was some 3 Stooges level of comedy gold at the end of the video. 😂
Good Job guys! Grumpy!!! LOL!
Grumpy knocked it out of the Park " I Hate Casey LaDelle " LMAO
😂😂😂😂😂 Love ya Grumpy! Lol
Grumpy is always right! 😊
Thanks for sharing!
Casey, anytime you manage to get the stranded vehicle out is a success, it doesn't matter that you didn't have all your equipment, its down to experience, deployment and using what is around you. Well done from here in rainy England. The UK one.
You did it before, you did it again. Brought Grumpy for us to see him again and for his towing knowledge. Customer found this recovery to be satisfactory and went away with a smile 😊 on his face.
😂 it was so nice that grumpy let you be in his video...😊
I love grumpy, keep grumpy on the channel
It’s amazing you could have worked in our shop , where we struggled to do so much with so little for so long that we were totally qualified to do anything with nothing at all.😂
haha, good one!
I used to only have a 3"-30' tow strap in my S-15 Jimmy. I must have pulled 30-40 vehicles out of snowy ditches over the years. Mostly for free or beer money. When you are in Northern Wisconsin or the UP on the way to go skiing we always tried to help people. Not having good gear we had to be creative. Several times we needed someone with a bigger truck to do the pulling. So glad the strap never broke (I bought several when they got worn out). Now I have a 4Runner and much better gear including a Harbor Freight 12,000 winch like yours. Still try and help when I can. Thanks for all you do!
"okay..I hate Casey LaDelle" 😂😂😂 Too funny!!!
Good morning Wrecker Crew! Another Beautiful day in the Stunning Pacific Cascades. A guaranteed smile is just Casey comment away ❤ Love to the Family.
I had a Jeep CJ5 back during the blizzard of 78 here in Ohio, I volunteered to deliver prescriptions to people out in the countryside virtually all of the roads were shut down outside of town. I have never been stuck so much and so bad in my life. But I had a shovel and dug my way out. I love your video's, brings back old memories of when rescued a few people in the middle of nowhere.
I live in the northern panhandle of wv born in 81, I had heard all the stories about the 78 blizzard. my dad had a 79 bronco and he spent several days delivering food, and prescriptions to elderly in our area. Then in the blizzard of 93 I got to help out even got to drive some since we were only people on the roads.
I was in NW Ohio in ‘78. A dozer came down thru the Main Street in our little village. Snow drifts were over 10 to 12 feet deep. No school for a week.
I lived in midwest part of Ohio, but I was at college in southeast Ohio back then. Missed most of and my dad and brothers just out there like you...great fun.
The southeast would usually get very little snow. There was snow covering the ground for several months.
I love the fact that you take Grummpy with you gets him out of the house and have some fun. P.S. my dad has had the Grummpy name for years too.
I agree Grumpys finish was epic!!!😂
That went about as well as it could have. Now you even got Grumpy going off on you. LOL🤣
Thanks for the upload Casey!! Got some good entertainment before work now.
Grumpy approval is all we needed
You personify the old adage that “quality lives on long after the price is forgotten.”
ah when 4 wheel drive becomes four wheel slide
That's an interesting noise the camera is picking up from the silver bullet.
Love it when you take Grumpy obviously he's very knowledgeable and very funny too. Love his no filter attitude just like you. 11:41
New stickrer to hsnd out to the people you recover. "Cascade Heavy Rescue Saved My Day!"
Nice to see the two "big boys" parked up side by side, and even better they ar both operational.
Be careful, Grumpy's on the job, it could end in tears!!🤣
HA HA I think grumpy is you best fan Casey. That is awesome!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
LOL gumpy at the end i laughed so hard
We heard it here first! Grumpy hates Casey LaDelle! 🤣🤣🤣
"....you won't see...cause of...*reasons*"? Thank you for that explanation ;-)
Did anyone else notice the untied boot laces? It looked like there was a good 12 inches of laces dragging around on the snow and ice just waiting for a chance for him to stand on them and then try to take a step.
Yay !!! Grumpy always makes Casey’s videos better ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for another excellent video.
Ain't No Power Like Grumpy Power!
When he said y'all were life savers you should have came back with all five flavors
'Grumpy Power' - The t-shirt!
DO IT!!
"I hate CASEY LaDELLE" Too!!!!!! Well done sir. Well done.
Grumpy for the win??😂
Well goooooood morning to you Casey!
All the chat and cross chat adds to the drama of the recovery. The most compelling feature to me is the service provided by Casey in the community, helping so many people out, & even in tough weather conditions.
I LOVE Grumpy, his is great.
We all hate Casey Ladelle .....
During the 2018 blizzard here in Snohomish county, I was traveling in Smokey point and saw a tractor trailer stuck going up the hill towards I-5 and i put my slightly modified 07 Rubicon in front and ready to tow him when a county Deputy showed up and asked me if I thought i could actually help him. I said yes, just need one chance and the deputy replied that is what i will give you. I put the jeep in 4 lo and first gear and yanked the truck up the hill to the overpass where i stopped to disconnect and the deputy said "I gave you a snowball's chance in hell for doing that" I was proud of Rubydoo that day.
Grumpy’s last video. Even he hates you now. 😂
Good morning Casey you got the job done and that is all that matters. You were thinking outside of the box and adapted your plan when needed to get the job done.
I hope that you receive enough calls that are specific to the rollback to make it worth keeping it.
Just remember, a less than perfect recovery appeals to the human spirit as we can relate to imperfections.
Casey great restrain in not making fun that it is a Subaru! Too funny!
Omg grumpy!!!!!!!! I hate Casey Ladelle that had me rolling
Casey Ethan and Grumpy. The A team minus the bling.😂❤.
Another fine recovery . I agree Grumpy Power
Grumpy's got a lead foot 😂🤣😂🤣
The fleet is complete.
Yee....
Haw....
🤠
Ethan is a great addition to your business 4:43
Same Grumpy, same
:)
The wheels on the silver Dodge Ram look really, REALLY good. Never seen those anywhere else and they remind me of the HMMVEE wheels.
With Casey’s skills I’m sure he could quickly weld up some basic ice chocks for each vehicle.
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
i have used military landing mat cut into squares.
i live in the desert of calif so i carry them for sand but i have used them for ice and snow.
if you cut them right they stack up nicely and because they can be linked they can be made into long pieces.
you can run a chain through one of the holes and to your frame so you will not slip off them.
The woods is full of wood chawks...
You should nave left the shackle bolts 1/4 turn loose when you use them as wheel chocks. Turning them 1/4 turn looser gives a larger contact patch. Its like airing the tires down but better since you dont need a compressor.
When Grumpy said, "I hate Casey LaDelle!" I actually felt he meant it; I laughed and laughed. He needs to be on as a regular character on this show.
Nice Teamwork 👍😎👍
Best ending ever🤣
Good old Grumpy
Thanks Grumpy, I forgot that I hate Casey too.
You got the job done. The vehicle was recovered.
Doin stuff with Grumpy is always such a treat. Good job, even if you screwed it up.
Love it. Casey: I came unprepared, Grumpy: you should have a set of wheel chalk in this truck. Great to see u Grumpy!🤙😎
Thanks for sharing. Stay safe!
Well that was great 😃. Thanks for sharing guys.
Good to see Grumpy again. He was right, you did good. You got them out, it doesn't matter if you weren't completely prepared. You got the job done. That's a win. I hate Casey LaDelle🤣
BOTH TRUCKS!!!!
So cool, congratulations Casey.
Hi Casey the Ram Service truck pulled the Subaru wagon out so easy nice video love the videos 😊
That white blight just won't go away, huh? I've been staggering around the yard barefoot in shorts for a week. I'm ready for the spring thing. Boat coming outta storage this weekend. C'mon spring! Eastern Washington had a super mild winter, I'm still sick of it.
One thing in the sliver ram put a seat of wheel chuck in it for next time
Dunno about forgetting the chocks...you were chock full of enthusiasm, chock full of skill and chock full on bonhomie....
That there Grumpy is a fine man
I rewound and watched the ending twice. Lmfao. Knocked it out of the park grumpy
I rate the recovery 8/10. It would be 10/10 but I had to dock 2 points, one for each missing wheel chock.
Well.. ya got it done without the wheel chocks .. thanks for the video
Shows how the Subaru CVT works. Same with older AWD. If one wheel gets high-sided the others may or may not grab. Nice recovery save
Love the silver Dodge!!,...the "Silver Slipper"
Yes ! Reckon is now time to stock all your vehicles with Recovery items...Mud, Snow, Sand and Water..LOL Job well done...Cheers👍
Thank you for not showing any footage of the rollover the family involved will appreciate you respecting their privacy.
Truck looks good seen you out in hermiston/standfield this afternoon
It was a long day
Had the shackles not worked as a chock you could have tried the rear step hitch next.🤔
Grumpy is the freaking best!
I was starting to miss the ol truck lol, good to see her back!
Wheel chocks or a set of tire chains would be great
Have you thought about rear/front reflective chevrons and side contour lining? Especialky on the big truck and the traffic control pickups could benefit from passive lighting and safety, while not blinding others. Or reflective writing? Heavy recovery or Cascade heavy recocery on the front, and people could see whats that nice looking orange rotator truck doing.. nice videos, good attitude, nice camera control Ethan, good looking trucks❤
Grumpy is the best!
You guys are funny!
I have collected quite a few sets of chains and cables over the years, especially at yard sales for a couple of dollars unused. I have multiple sets for my vehicles, but it comes to mind that the old bar reinforced chains would make great chocks. Some are for tire sizes that probably won't be seen again, and most modern cars can't even use chains because of clearance problems.
I have quite a few old ammo boxes, and they are now going to be home to chains, marked as to purpose and length.
Grumpy's outro was perfect!
