I think it's safe to say this was Peanut's favorite recovery, she looked like she was having the time of her life.
Score one for the Peanut!

Rolling in the river
Guys,
YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified/Pierced for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”
From the Ancient Egyptian Semitic:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moshe (Moses) wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)
Ancient Egyptian Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
No kidding, I'm jealous.
"Your expensive Jeep that doesn't do any of the things it used to do" is the most sarcastic I've ever seen Matt get with a customer.
Matt's experience and wisdom come through as a teachable moment often...to the customer, and more importantly to hundreds of thousands of his Subscribers now and over time. Matt loves off-roading, he is an avid trails and obstacles guy and he loves the rigs that can do those things...I'm sure he truly does hate seeing a nice rig destroyed for the most part by water or an accident.
"Go get familiar with your new Jeep that doesn't do the things that used to do"
That's wise advice, I don't sense the attitude of elitism out of him, it's not a Land Rover, Hummer - it's a 👇
👉Jeep 👈
☝️
And even if it was a Land Rover- Who cares?
These folks are off-road, doing things that Matt does in his spare time for fun.
-how did you twist that?
We know how to get unstuck, perform these types of tasks because we've been there ourselves
This guy loves off-roading, it's his hobby-you don't think he drove down a river or onto a path he should not have?
Of course we do? It's fun! 😃
and that's how we know how to get unstuck!
Look-he's got a few gray hairs... He's been getting stuck and unstuck probably most of his life.
So the guy had a vacation adventure he's never going to forget... I'm betting Matt and his friends kick back over a root beer Saturday nights, and chuckle at the stupid things they did when they were kids, with less experience.
Not like he was driving around drunk with his kids in the car and went off a cliff.
I don't punish people for being adventurous-he's doing the same thing at 50 years old that Matt did at 15.
Only the guy with the Jeep doesn't have the same fifteen-year-old's experience.
I don't recall him using the word "expensive"
And he knows he'd be a hypocrite - it's his job to help people-if it didn't happen this often, he wouldn't make a living at it.
And I'm guessing his resume to qualify him for this type of work, are a few life experiences of getting stuck!
It's a Jeep!
They're just having family fun!
His having a shiny new red Jeep doesn't bother the fact that I like to drive 1975 beat-up international harvesters... We're all happy!
@@thegulch1780 A $60K+ Jeep, mind you.
They are jusdt re-badged Fiat nowadays....
At least it wasn’t salt water it would be done for 🤣🤣
We need to get some follow up estimates of the repair these rescued vehicles need so people think twice 😊
The guy said that he turned the Jeep off before it flooded the engine. It will probably be ok after changing all fluids.
That implies they thunk once...
@@NiteTrain345no lol that hero is screed your supposed to keep the truck running he def got water in his motor after shutting it off you never shut off a motor while under water even halfway under water wouldn’t be safe
That is a destroyed engine. Water got into that engine if he shut it off to flow back up into the engine. As long as your air intake is above water don't shut off your engine. He ruined that jeep.
@@F_e_l_i_x_
Would you rather risk getting a 100% bent rods and thrash engine than take a chance of it being alright after a cleaout?
I would also shut it off if it was that high risking it went inside the intake to a running engine.
Dig Dug just ain’t cuttin’ it on this recovery. 😂😂Probably would have Ben better off without him! Nice job for the Morrvair getting the job done once again!
Great job teaching Rhett to do the right thing .Picking other peoples junk (tire) with out being told to. GREAT FAMILY
100%, if the country was full of this family it would be a perfect place.
I thought he was gonna put it under Tom's truck for traction
He is the kind of kid you get when you actively participate in raising your kids.
@@MurCurieux and all the gun violence would disappear
Most importantly, there wouldn’t be any trash in the river in the first place….❤️🇷🇴
I have never commented on why someone got stuck until now. I appreciate that there is a job to do and Matt and Co. get it done. But at 11:42 this guy is infuriating for so many reasons. "all the roads were gated so we just followed the river" . Besides the risk to him, vehicle, family, it was incredibly irresponsible and selfish. So much for tread lightly.
totally agreed. had the same exact thought. maybe see one of the other literally thousands of things to see in that area instead?
Yeah this guy is an idiot. Enjoy the $20k fix.
He will pay for that lapse in good decision making with his damaged Jeep,.
Not too mention all his snarky remarks the whole time
Typical example of someone with too much money and not enough sense. His $70k Jeep is totalled and he's not even upset about it.
I've never been stuck (yet) in Southern Utah but when Matt says "We'll get you out" must be such a relief.
Great recovery. You guys showed some good tips on water fording.
Most offroaders probably already know, to the few, always run your breather tubes off the axles transfer case high, engine air intake raised or snorkel, ignition system sealed. Some of our trips had spots where we had to cross water , at times deep enough to come inside the cab. Buddy system when you go out to areas where cell does not work.
I wish I had friends like Matt and Tom-Tom. Those 2 men, their families, and the entire MORR crew represent the absolute BEST qualities in society.
you can be just like that every day. its our choice
Couldn't have said it better myself. Absolutely upstanding qualities from everyone in this crew!
Goodstone stole my thunder.😁 He said exactly what I was thinking. Life is made up of choices. We can choose to be civil, or choose to be nasty. Personally, I think that if every other word is a curse word, the person uttering it has a limited vocabulary. And probably an IQ to match. Just my opinion.
You can never tell what lurks below the surface. Good example you guys showed by walking ahead of the vehicle instead of having to be recovered yourselves. Good job by all ---
Having crossed the Southern Utah streams and rivers for decades in my off roading adventures, Matts words of wisdom about not being able to stop rings so very true. The sand moves, your vehicle sinks, you can't dig out because the sand is moving. Even with a light ATV type vehicle, getting out once you sink is tough.
Rhett had some really great commentary with the no wake zone comment. That was great!
It's amazing how quickly a vehicle can bog down in a river. Thanks for the tutorial, Matt! Nice job by everyone.
You're either selectively filming Rhett on his best days, or he has one of those bright sunny personalities that makes an awesome friend. Plus he rock-crawls and welds!
He's an awesome boy
Kinda takes after his dad...and mom !
Rhett has really become part of the team.
That Morvair is a absolute unit. With Matt's knowledge and experience you guys get stuff out of places I would never believe.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm never disappointed by what the Morvair and driver can't do, but always amazed by what it can pull off!! That last jerk up out of the river was incredible for the conditions. Amazing
I got stuck in a river once for 2 days. There just happened to be a T bar on the bottom that perfectly shot up and severed my shift cable on the trans. In addition to the $1k tow bill, I got to replace the fluids in both diffs, the t case, and trans, plus it took a year for the last of the ton of sand to shake it's way out of the chassis. I don't do water crossings anymore without being able to see the bottom and walking across first.
At least you weren't using the river to go around a locked gate.
I’m always impressed by Matt’s temperament, calm, casual, confident … sometimes even humorous … even under what I’d call, "trying" circumstances … well done Matt and crew … 👍🏼
I would be in someones face about being such a dumb &$?. Just a ton of wear and tear on the rescue vehicles. Makes good videos.
I remember the days when Matt refused to use winches. He's come around now.
Good thing Paul Cox didn't try driving in the river on his river adventure in Missouri. He would of had about 12' of water above his head.
Why? Your getting paid to do it and get to enjoy it lol
Matt is doing his job. The jeep owner is the shocker. Pretty relaxed considering he just screwed up an awesome jeep.
What a day! Matt is such a patient person who systematically and metrically problem solved a very challenging Jeep extract. Then while still wet and I am sure somewhat frustrated, instantly pivots to educator by having Tom to the extract on the car. Always teaching, and mentoring for others to become better. This is what a real leader does. So very impressed and so very glad this video dropped so I could watch during breakfast here in Iowa. Very much appreciate your entire “Matt’s Family”!
I'm pretty sure Matt is more of an imperial type of problem solver.
Its awesome to see some of the tough situations you guys go through, i like the ingenuity in an overwhelming & challenging business. Matt especially handles it well, you can tell he has years of experience with his humble confidence. A professional who has handcrafted his profession, down to the very tools and techniques he has created & taught for himself, his family, & the surrounding communities. Truly inspiring, glad to see Gods work at hand in your life brother, well deserved
And there you go-that's the key to this... These other commentators thinking somehow you need a college degree to do this, Matt obviously got stuck a lot in his life! Lol!
I've been stuck, and when I come across somebody who needs pulling out, I don't criticize... Been there, done that!
Someone else got me out, I learned how to do it and we pay it forward!
But if this wasn't common, Matt wouldn't be making a living at this! Lol!
I got my husky Malamute able to pull my ATV out when I get stuck - lots of places to get stuck in Alaska, always ready
just need to feed him a little bit more so he can pull out the diesel!
Have fun!
Peanut was having so much fun being able to play with everyone and staying cool . Such a sweetie
Rhett is so awesome. What a great kid.
It's 108F and he wearing jeans for a river recovery.
Seems to me that he is a moron
Great parenting goes far. And... he does what Jesus would do.
@@motownpontiacRhett is Jesus arisen, I agree. Praise rhett
Peanut must be one of the happiest dogs in the world . Every day is an adventure !
You shared some real good advice regarding dont stop for more than a second. That soil washing away under the tires is no joke!
you guys never ever fail to impress me, probably the most impressive recovery in a while, morvaire for the win👍🏻💪🏼
Expensive day for that Jeep owner. Beautiful vehicle too. Nice river to lazily tube down if you were wearing about 80 SPF sunscreen.
Peanut living her best life as a river doggo. Her happiness is contagious.
Shame about the Rubicon tho, that's a hard way to learn a lesson.
That was a badass recovery!
Morevair and Dig dug put in some WORK! ... AND Peanut, can't forget her, she ALWAYS puts in work, hell of a dog.
Awesome machines.
I am genuinely concerned about how dark the tint is on the windshield of that BMW. No wonder he drove into the sand, he couldn't see a thing!
That Morrvair is ridiculously competent
They are driving through that river and I see that thunderstorm building and think, better move fast before a flash flood takes the recovery to a whole other level. Glad everyone got out safe.
Yeah I saw that too, but it appeared the weather was downstream so no worries.
I was wondering the whole time too.Lucky guy...sorta.
Peanut looks so happy!!! She’s definitely living her best life
Matt's frustration with the customer was palpable through the screen, I'm amazed he didn't chew the guy out more. People like this jeep owner are why we have fewer and fewer OHV areas - they simply can't stop themselves from going off the trail and ruining the environment for their own amusement. Hopefully their insurance doesn't buy them a new Jeep, and they learn a lesson... doubtful, though.
yup. Can't stress enough that this behavior is exactly why OHV areas are closing everyday. Everything is gated because of this behavior. The exact type of folks that complain about it being gated are why access is limited.
Cry more
@@kap1526 lol what? Who are you saying cry more to...
Their first mistake was owning a Jeep.
These are the type of so called “Off Roaders” that will buy everything brand new and then let the insurance total and replace everything. Then start all over and do it again! One of my coworkers will contest to this!
You should build some kind if big off road toe truck with lots of winches and like 54 in tires and rear steering I bet that would make recoveries like this a lot easier 👍
That comment made me laugh ✌️
This video is everything I love about this channel. Really difficult recovery. Ingenuity. Wonderful family interaction. And thanks Rhett for picking up the trash tire.
I am an offshore sailor. When sailing you must read the water. When the waves form little pyramids next to the ruined jeep, at minute 8:22 and Jamie says "He hit a Hole" it means a transition from deep water into shallow water, or vice versa, ...and the reaction of RUN AWAY RUN AWAY! (like Monte Python...(Smile). Another Navy term for linking, and towing two boats is called Steady Strain as John McCain so effectively defined. Respect!
If there was ever truly a muscle car, it's the MORRvair. Great work all, thanks for posting.
The way Tom spun his wheels and lowered into the mud gave all new meaning to Dig- Dug
I have to say, I love your family dynamics! It's nice to see how well you all work together and although Lizzy is missed, Rhett is stepping up nicely.
Lizzy was just in the last video…
LIZZY WAS THE ONLY REASON TO WATCH THIS CRAPPY CHANNEL
The best part, always the DOG! The dog clearly knows he is the BOSS of the operation!
Matt and Tom...make Dig Dug AS CAPABLE AS CAPABLE CAN BE FOR A SQUARE BODY...you know you know you need it to be, and it's something WE ALL REALLY WANT TO SEE YOU BUILD AND USE. Please, beef it up, outfit it extremely well and make it AS capable as the banana and at least APPROACHING what the Morvair can do. You will use it a lot, Tom and others on the MORR Crew will love it and your Subscribers and Fans will love it a lot!
The way Matt will walk straight into waist deep water with jeans and cowboy boots.. man’s on a mission
For $2,000'ish at least probably, it's worth it soggy pants.
not looking like a pansy is priceless. it's the desert; that's the safe water: the danger water was 3 mo. back!
He has a wetsuit underneath his clothes. Don't you know anything about these Hollywood types? 🤣
@@UTAH100They haven’t been paid for a recovery in at least a couple years. It’s all free and they make the money on the RUclips video. Win win for everyone. They get more calls because it’s free, the customer doesn’t have to pay, and Matt still gets paid.
@@jimyeats Where did you see this said?
Thanks to all of Matt's team and thanks for great editing and showing the "weather" in celsius.
After seeing almost all the videos on the channel i now have a better feel for the imperial readings.

Same thing from here in Bavaria!👍🏻😁
Honestly that looked like one of the hardest recoveries Matt's done in a while
What a fantastic episode!! A river rescue is just what everyone needed to have! It’s not all scorched earth and desert
Man, this recovery was WORK!! Some recoveries just pop right out and others take a lot of time and effort. Awesome that Matt doesn't hesitate to get in the water or crawl in the sand. GREAT JOB team MORR!!
Its Friday afternoon in Cape Town, and with a massive storm approaching. It's bitterly cold, and just as I thought it's going to be an awful afternoon, MORR posts a new video!! YIPPEE!

I love a family that thinks together. 😂 y’all had me cracking up. Love y’all
I love the way everyone just does exactly what Matt asks without question and absolutely no hint of ego . Considering what a frustrating job it obviously can be the way you all get on and the affection between you all is Brilliant. Great video as always 🤘😎🤘🇬🇧
I think they were too hot to bicker. Not that it was a difficult job
1. Those fights with Matt happened when they were much younger. 🫨
2. It's RUclips.
They control the EDITS. 🤗
@@donothingMTIAMG What fights were those?
Your comment reminded me of an earlier video where some dude got himself stuck and then continually told Matt how to properly get him unstuck. Matt was so patient with that guy. If there was ever a time for a "Bless your heart" in a video it was then.
I'm not sure what exactly felt different, but this is a TV quality episode!! Keep it up!!
The things people do for fun;... And then, very impressive how the whole "recovery team" walk through the river to rescue a customer's vehicle. Good job guys. And yes, I love how Peanut had a lot of fun out of this one. Kudos to you all.
Going into a river solo, while not having a snorkle is beyond me.
😂 Right ! 😂
Good MORRning everyone!
Good morning!

Good advice from the Morrvair team DO NOT DRIVE IN THE RIVER! I'm sure Matt and Jaymie realized that the BIGGEST WRECKER WOULD HAVE HANDLED THIS BETTER! Nice to see Jaymie and Rhett on the recovery.
Would have gotten stuck.
I don’t think this would have been better on the wrecker. That bank turn would have been challenging because of little space, and extra weight in the river is a recipe for problems if you break through and start to dig in
@@THEpicNDCan't help but wonder how the wrecker would do with the rear steering and MUCH larger wheel/tire

I sure am glad you cleared up that whole lower 48 thing I'm so glad that you added the concept of upper and lower Australia being part of it.. it's almost like you could use all the connecting States below Canada and all the states above Mexico with the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to the east and west as an example.
That river is what our back driveway looks like. Nerve wracking (but fun) every time you go through it! This one felt so familiar to me! Tom please fix that PAS!
Guys like that are the kind of people who make things get gated off, thus ruining it for everyone.
Well, he (the owner of the Jeep) did say the roads were gated so he took to the river.
@@johnhpalmer6098 Illegal in most states to drive in the river channel. Could also be a federal Clean Water Act violation. Not to mention it's one of the fundamental rules of Tread Lightly to not drive in river channels. Pure stupidity and deserves to have his expensive Jeep ruined.
@@upscaleshack Not arguing that at all, but that was what the owner of jeep said.
@@johnhpalmer6098Usually things are gated for a reason. Doesn’t mean it’s a challenge where you need to figure out a way around them.
Some people have the idea that everything should be open to them if they just want to go check it out. Sure, the didn’t intend anything bad and just wanted to see some ruins. But, not everything is so simple and good.
Never a dull moment! Matt's "Been here and done this" knowledge is always there when needed.
Really appreciate your good work say hi to your dog running around helping in his own way.
Note to Jamie. When I first started watching your all's channel I remember you sitting behind a desk in a front little cubby of an office. You have come a long way for you and am glad
Jamie and her appropriate attire! Determination made that river recovery possible. Great job.❤
Over and over again the MORRvair shows it is the gold standard in recovery vehicles! When I think of all the stress put on every square inch of that vehicle without breaking, it just amazes me time and time again! AWESOME build & awesome recovery! :-) PS: All the MORRvair needs to be the absolute perfect recovery vehicle is a fully operational fuel gage! :-)
😄
No one is having more fun than the dog!
Matt, I think you should invest in ceramic window tint for your recovery vehicles. Their AC systems, if existent, won't ever be able to keep up with the infrared energy pounding you guys on their own.
There are some really great high visual light transmission options that still block nearly all of the infrared energy, which is where the heat comes from.
This just proves how awesome the rigs Matt builds are. Dig Dug was struggling while the Moorvair thirsts for a challenge.
Yes, sir, but dig dug is not finished yet
Great Power Show of the Morrvair. Incredibly capable.
Yeah Dig Dug dug a hole every few feet...😂
Rhett: "Wet jeans are the worst!" Yup. 😆
I was loving watching peanut. River crossings are fun and exciting, but experience and a fit for purpose vehicle are a must for that adventure.
Wow! That is crazy driving down a river like that, hope he can get his Jeep fixed back up.
Your dogs have so much fun on these trips! If they didnt want to be there you wouldnt be able to find them when its time to leave.
Feel really bad for that Dad/Jeep owner. Just trying to have a fun day with his daughter, and he ends up with a flood title/salvage jeep. He definitely looked defeated while getting his t-shirt.
This was one video where I thought I finally might see Matt get stuck. This looked like an impossible situation coming out of the river. So glad I found this channel
There's no greater wastage than that caused by insurance companies that just willy nilly total everything. As a Jeeper of many years I'm positive that thing would be totally fine after just normal failed fording maintenance. New battery, crank with no spark plugs to get rid of potential water in cylinders, change differential oil (standard practice after ANY major fording anyway), maybe dry the fusebox with a hair dryer, and it's good as new. There's hardly any electrics in the lower portion of the cabin, it's designed that way for this very reason. There are drain plugs in the floor, too...
Read my comment.
Insurance companies total things when cost to repair, recover, tow to location etc amounts to 50% or greater of vehicle value.
This Jeep could be dried out and be driveable and never even involve your insurance company.
If u wanted too.
@@duramaxdad My 17' Tacoma got totaled with 67% damage. Realistically a guy like Matt could put it back on the road for next to nothing and have a $40,000 truck for $14,000 which is what it sold for at auction. I didn't feel like messing with a bent frame though so I took the payout from the person who hit my truck. Ideally I would've pocketed $26k, took the truck, slapped it back on the road for a few grand and been smiling ear to ear. Hindsight isn't my friend.
Dumbass full deserved this.
i love the swimming that matt did, the doggy having a blast, and the sarcastic comment about the jeep was on point. love these
I’ve been watching several of these and…not ONE f bomb. How good is that! Good guys and gals doing good things. Sweet!
For a long time I have watched and loved this channel! The entire MORR crew is extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, compassionate and generous. True Americans at their best. Thank you for being such great examples for others!
You took the words out of my mouth. These four people are who I’d want to see if I was stuck out there
Love the Captain Matt Sparrow reference
People drive in rivers a lot in the UK too. Looks like fun but I agree with Matt - it's a shame when your expensive car gets ruined
Peanut loved it as much as Rhett
That POTC cut scene was perfect LOL. I even thought of that scene and no sooner did I think about it you cut to it. Laughed so hard lol
As great as Matt and the whole crew are, I must confess, half the time I watch these just to see the Morrvair in action, that is the baddest of badass vehicles.
great recoveries and peanut looked so happy running in the water looked so refreshing and cool....thanks for bringing us along for the adventures. and keep making great videos 📹 👍 👌 👏 and recoveries....
yeah, Peanut is my favorite character in this channel 😃
Instant regret? I'd call it more like sweet revenge for polluting river water. Lol.
I think Penut is a lucky dog, always out enjoying the adventure 😅
Amazing recovery A real show of your skill AWSOME
One of the most challenging recoveries I have seen you guys do. It is cool to see how you keep trying diffrent things and using your vast experience to figure it out. Another successfull recovery! Well done!
Good way to wind down after work thank you Matt for all the hard work you and your crew do
Dig Doug is definitely teaching me why i have so much work to do on my truck
Thank you TomTom
Another fun video! I was surprised dig Doug got out when he started to get stuck coming out of the river; some great driving.
Sucks to see beautiful Jeep like that get ruined.
I can always click the "Thumbs UP" before a video knowing it'll be a good one. Matt that MORRvair is truly one great rig.
You all are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
I'm glad to see Rhett appear to be more comfortable and his input is refreshing to hear from a young man's viewpoint. May God bless Matt & his gang.
Great management Matt. I once witnessed a youngster doing doughnuts on a beach that had tidal pools. He spun it right into one. Brand new Chewy coupe with a 409 engine. First day of driving it. Last day too. Water was almost above the roof line.
When I saw this video, I was reminded of the novella, Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness (& river boat captain Marlow) heading upstream. The boats (recovery vehicles) Marlow (Matt) and the risk that both recovery vehicles might sink in an abyss. Remarkable that both vehicles got out 'safely" and the flooded Rubicon was pulled out too. To me it's another one of Matt's 'remarkable & memorable' outings, where matters quickly could have gone 'south" but for whatever reason didn't. Thank goodness it didn't happen weeks ago, when the river level was much higher.
One of the most enjoyable recoveries I’ve seen by the team. I enjoy a river, and or mud recovery. Job well done!
Built a off-road wrecker doesn’t bring the wrecker… 😝 love y’all and just teasing
That's simply the best seeing your son in the business world 🌍. Good on him.😊
Matt pushes his vehicles to the extreme and they're so well built they never let him down. Tom's Digdug is a cool 😎 old school square body but it definitely needs a locker in the front differential and get rid of the leaf springs for coilovers for a better ride.
he should try letting some air out of them all terrains.
"Well built" isnt how anyone would describe a jeep haha
The years of experience it takes to pull each of these vehicles out is just mind boggling! And it's not just pulling out vehicles; it's understanding where in the desert they are, how the terrain works and varies throughout the year, etc! And Matt and his crew do this like a walk in the park. You guys are awesome to watch! 😎😎😁🤯🤯🤯Keep up the great works!
Great recovery, Rhett is learning the rope's . Thanks for picking up the trash on the river. Good to see Jamie again in the right clothes for once. David, Utah.♥♥♥.
Just found your channel it’s great. Love that all of you are so entertaining yet down to earth.
Nice work Matt and team...! I agree with the question of why do people drive through rivers?? Tubing is more fun! Just in time before the blinding winds hit!
23:39 That front window tint has to be darker than the legal limit. Possibly why he got stuck. That's also got to be dangerous at night.
Was about to say I don't know a single state that would be legal in
Matt you hit the nail on the head people take way to many risks on rivers. Which is good for your business. One positive out of it. You have the best towing channel.
I hope you charged this guy several thousand $$$ to get this vehicle out.
Probably free
i know jobs are not easy sometimes, but you have the nicest job in the world and the scenery is just too cool, coming from a Quebec guy.
