Thank you for just a little “light murdering” of anything anywhere near my abs. Lots of subtle strength today!

That was great!!! When I have to support my weight with my arms (min 20) it is always painful, any suggestion? Thanks a lot for these videos 🙂

@@MelanieLopezPilates wrists (not becuase of theses exercises, it always happens to me when I haveto do any exercise which supports my body, and I am not fat 🙂)

Hey Silvia - barring any pathology in the wrist, there are a few things that I typically go for when working around wrist discomfort, especially in plank: 1) focus on actively pressing up through the palms, or pushing away from the floor. This engages the muscles around the shoulder girdle and can help relieve pressure in the wrists in this position. 2) reduce time and/or reps in this position to start, and work your way up to more reps and exercises slowly over time with repetition. 3) frequently stretching the wrists/forearms. In all fours on the floor, try rocking gently forward and back with the finger tips facing forward, then facing toward you, then rock gently side to side with the fingers pointing toward each other. Rolling out the wrist can also help. Look up median nerve glides or carpal tunnel nerve flossing on RUclips for better guidance there. 4) modify onto the forearm(s) using a box. For plank moves facing the footbar or to the side, you can tilt the footbar down (or remove it) and place the box perpendicular to the spring side of the machine. You can go into a forearm plank on the box instead of the a full plank in this position. Facing the headrest, you can choose to use a box here or just place your forearms on the bed with the hands wrapped around the shoulder blocks. Hope that this helps!
