Probably should have done this first instead of last today. Definitely felt the core after already doing a bunch before. Great kneeling movements that helped stretch out my quads too. Thanks again for the great routines.
Yay that was great. Another one to return to. I hadnt been on the reformer all winter and it's awesome to come back to it and feel stronger in this video than last time. Thanks Melanie ❤
Love your channel! Thanks for all the content and inspiration for at home workouts! I have the IQ and wondering do you adjust the rope length between arm and leg work? And if so what do you advise? I bought separate straps with arm and leg loops but I’m not sure if they work with the IQ!
Thanks so much, Louise! I’m so glad to know that you’re enjoying it. :) great questions - re: strap length for hands in straps vs. feet in straps, I typically do not switch the straps out or lengthen the ropes. That said, if you find it more comfortable to do so, that is also normal and totally fine! Sometimes folks with tighter hamstrings can find that to be helpful (though I’m not sure if that’s the case for you). Depending on what you’re noticing with feet in straps, if it’s a matter of the spring load feeling too aggressive with the shorter strap, you could also consider peeling off a spring or swapping one of them out to a lighter spring. Changing the rope length is also an option, although I’ll be honest: it can be a minor pain in the *** and if you’re lazy about rope adjustments (like me), that might get tiresome pretty quickly 🙃 Re: the BB double straps, If you have the newer model Metro IQ reformer vs. the older Pilates IQ (which I use in my videos), it looks like they did away with the hardware, so it does seem like you wouldn’t be able to swap those out with the stock straps, unfortunately. That’s a bummer. I hope that this helped! Please let me know how you do, and if there’s anything you’d like to see me include in a future video, I would love to hear it! Thanks!
@@MelanieLopezPilates Thank you so much I will give that a try! I just had a baby 4 months ago so anything Post Partum friendly would be great! I have the same machine which makes it so easy to follow! You give great cues and visualisations!!
