Behind Monty’s stoic snout, there is a very annoying big brother to Rueger. The slow pace of the video was wonderful. It’s not your usual race to beat sundown or to quickly get to the next spot. All great fun to watch, but this was so leisurely and relaxing. Epic food as usual and the visuals were incredible. Happy to see the boys get their treats at the end

Amazing job as always Matthew. Great to have your better half and both kids out on a long trip again.. you put so much work into your craft and it is noticed and appreciated.. I watched the video in stages to stretch it out cause I didn't want it to end .. thanks for all you hard work.. Very cool that funk saw the wolf close up, I had a similar experience when I was in my early teens on a family hiking/ camping trip way into the Canadian Rockies near the top of a mountain in the middle of the night. Our dogs woke us up barking at something aggressively . It was a huge wolf feet from our tent opening. It stared at us for a minute or so and turned around and slowly walked away. So scary and exciting at the same time.. it's now called wolf camp in the family. I have a tattoo to remind me of it. Not that I need a reminder I've been close to many many animals but that was the coolest. Thought I would share . Can't wait till you next video !!!
So much respect for Funk and her decision not to be in the videos. It's fun that even though she isn't "in" the videos, she is so funny with her off-camera remarks and banter. As someone who does hammock camp, I was waiting to see what he was going to say in the morning. I was nodding when he acknowledged that his back got cold. I knew without an underquilt, he wasn't going to get comfortable at those temperatures.
Awww, the way Reugs wanted to be right below you while you were in the hammock. We all love Monty but I’m also realizing Reugs is far more affectionate than I initially gave him credit for. Sweet boy. I’ve grown to really like him every bit as much as Monty at this point. Just took me a while to get to know him better despite always believing he was a pretty boy.
When you brought Monty in the hammock with you for snuggles it looked so COZY it my heart smile 😊 I miss camping ⛺️ loving your videos. Camping vicariously through you

One of my favorite Matthew videos that included Funk too. What a cool family you two have. Enjoyed the beavers, partridge (ruffed grouse?) and knowing that Funk starred down a wolf. I could not hear the drumming of the female partridge but sure enjoyed the male's alluring dance. Would have thought it was spring. I also could not hear the moose but just knowing you two could was fine. Thanks for a great video. I'm glad you brought along your "woman".

Been watching you for a long time now and I just wanted to say I really love watching your adventures and look forward to my Sunday evening with you and your partner and both of your beautiful dogs. Thankyou for making such an effort to film everything. I live in the Lake District in the UK but it's nothing like what you have there!! I am in a wheelchair and can't get out much and I just wanted to let you know how important your videos are to the likes of me, as it is the only way I can experience camping and other parts of the world and cultures. So thankyou very much! You are really lovely people and doggies!!

As someone who does hammock camp, I was waiting to see what he was going to say in the morning. I was nodding when he acknowledged that his back got cold. I knew without an underquilt, he wasn't going to get comfortable at those temperatures.
Awww, the way Reugs wanted to be right below you while you were in the hammock. We all love Monty but I’m also realizing Reugs is far more affectionate than I initially gave him credit for. Sweet boy. I’ve grown to really like him every bit as much as Monty at this point. Just took me a while to get to know him better despite always believing he was a pretty boy.

One of my favorite Matthew videos that included Funk too. What a cool family you two have. Enjoyed the beavers, partridge (ruffed grouse?) and knowing that Funk starred down a wolf. I could not hear the drumming of the female partridge but sure enjoyed the male's alluring dance. Would have thought it was spring. I also could not hear the moose but just knowing you two could was fine. Thanks for a great video. I'm glad you brought along your "woman".
