Eh, not really, no. For MMOs, I'd agree, but not really for "most online games". Of course it depends on how much a game has to change to be "evolving" to you, but chances are the only things that change in a game with an online counterpart is the addition of skins, bug fixes, balancing, etc. - I wouldn't really call those "evolving" in the same way that it applies to Nitro-fueled.
@@lethauntic what he said. Not all games evolve. And certainly not like this. Some just add extra content that isnt unique or does anything special for the game.
It's like my friends and I say: CTR Nitro-Fueled isn't just "N.Sane Trilogy's CTR" anymore. CTR:NF is the Crash Bandicoot series' 4th console racing game in it's own right, after CTR, CNK and CTTR.
To be honest, I love how CTR is doing. The free DLC aspect of CTR:NF is so rich in content that it's pushing the game further away from being a remake, making it more like a sequel. I think this sort of evolution through continuously added (FREE) content is very healthy for the gaming industry as a whole. Especially since all of this isn't locked behind a paywall. *Other game studios and publishers gotta take notes.*

@@AndreyNaranjo Look at the first Grand Prix. It's not great for singleplayer, but it's possible. Every other Grand Prix has higher prices for cosmetics and more grinding.
Nitro-Fueled definitely feels like more than just a remake, especially with the CNK content, the missing Naughty Dog-era characters, Spyro characters, additional tracks, and now we will finally be getting all the Tag Team Racing characters in the game by next month. I can't wait for the Neon Circus Grand Prix!
Well, not ALL the CTTR characters... If leaks are true, we're missing Willie Wumpacheeks. Not that I particularly CARE about that pathetic park mascot, but the point stands.
I see CTR:NF not like a remaster or remake, but more like a spiritual successor of Crash Team Racing, it's different, it has evolved so much (and will continue evolving) that the game is it's own thing, proper identity.
Engine Swap was a huge step in the right direction for me personally. Now I don't have to deal with stuff like the Ami-pocalypse of Nitro Tour and can get variety. The ONLY two things I need for this game to be perfect (or close to it) are: Itemless Matchmaking mode (make it just as rewarding in both Coins and Championship points as regular matchmaking, so players aren't 'forced' into one or the other). I've played this game almost every day since launch. I have Tropy and Digital Tropy. I have the Platinum Paint Job. I have every champion decal so far and am basically guarenteed the Spooky one at this point. I have every achievement. Needless to say: I know what I'm doing. I love racing in this game. I can handle a loss if the opponent is better than me. What I don't like is losing because someone behind me got LUCKY with the exact item they needed. That should never be anywhere near a mode that's labelled as 'skill-based'. Combine this with the way online is handled causing item jank (invisible potions anyone?) and I just feel like the game would be 1000x more fun for me if there was an Itemless option. The game has solid racing mechanics (imo). Its satisfying getting those long lasting turbos that carry across the entire race! Let me play with just that! FIX THE INVISIBLE WALLS! The game is approaching 5 months old and this is still a problem!
Great video, but one thing that is SUPER important to say is that also, ALL of this content (specially grand prix) are completely FREE. We don't need season passes or buying as DLC. Sure, there are microtransactions and I sure do hate it, but we can't deny this is AMAZING, what they're doing. That would surely make me happily buy a Nitro Kart Adventure Mode DLC if it comes to light.
@@izzythomas848 Well.. you can slide-boost in CTR Nitro-Fueled. There is other different weapons items and other power-up items aswell. The only Mario Kart game i have ever played, is Mario Kart 64. Not sure how many characters there is in the newest Mario Kart. But there is a alot characters in CTR Nitro-Fueled at the moment, plus there is even more characters on the way. Plus CTR Nitro-Fueled runs Different funny Grand Prix each month, whitch adds new Characters, skins, new cars, new stickers for your cars + new colors. And for each Grand Prix, a new bonus Race Track is added to the game. It has alot of fun, when you first begin to play it, you will love it.
Izzy Thomas I’ve played and owned every Mario kart (except 3ds) and have played CTRNF since launch so here’s what I have to say Mario Kart Pros: great controls, cool track design, cool customization, you get to play as Link, 42 playable characters Cons: LAZY and BAD choices for the roster, incredibly dumb item balance, unfair AI, bad online, and it doesn’t require much skill (you could be the best player in the world and can still lose due to the BS of items) CTR Pros: FANTASTIC roster, 40 playable characters (soon to be about 43), you can race as Spyro, great controls, incredible freedom to choose stats and customize, great track design, ok online, cool outfits for characters (that don’t take up slots like in Mario Kart), a cool adventure mode, balanced items, fair AI, rewards skill, free DLC. Cons: can be hard to get into as there a lot of people really good nowadays, GRINDING, pit stop, bugs. There are also micro transactions but they’re aren’t game breaking like in some of the Call of Duty games. Overall, I’ve had ten times more fun with CTR. It’s a blast to play. Even when losing you’re rewarded with a lot of coins. All I gotta say is before you go online, play the Adventure Mode and practice, practice, PRACTICE! That mode really helped me with my online experience. Overtime you will improve.
@@dillongeorge5866 Thanks for your response. Yes, it was confusing to me at first because I heard all of these great things about CTR like everything they're adding, and then I hear all of these things about microtransactions, so I wasn't sure what it was? Does all of the after-launch content need to be purchased?
Not very many crash characters left to be added to roster, Rilla Roo, Victor, Moritz, Madame Amberely, Pasadena O’ Possum, Willie Wumpa Cheeks, Chick and Stew are the only characters left to be added to roster, unless more Spyro series characters will be added in the future as well.
Some people here didn't get yet. The entire point of the GPs is to get more and more people into buying microtransactions. The more content, more people will buy Microtransacrions to earn Wumpa coins, that's why the game can be really grind sometimes. Yeah, you may not buy it and get the tracks and characters "for free", but people who are actually buying are the ones paying so everyone can have new tracks and everything else. I hate microtransactions, but rather live with this grind system than an actuall DLC.
Eh. If you put more fancy things on a Christmas tree it doesn't grow, it just starts to look fancier, until it becomes obscured. There is no evolution in CTR - the only new mechanic are the ghosts appearing from the crates. Driving style changes? Maybe a new mechanic, but clearly a cosmetic one.
I think that post launch thing Activision did with the microtransactions is still scummy especially after they said microtransactions wasn't going to happen
The entire point of the GPs is to get more people to buy microtransacrions. We are only reciving new content so they can make more money of people who buy Wumpa Coins. I hate microtransactions, but if we are going to recive new tracks for ""free"", Yeah, I'm fine with it.
@@cheddar07 No. He'd rather pay for nothing and expect to get everything handed to him on a silver platter. There are people that put work into these games and while there's that up-front cost of buying the game, microtransactions are the reality check people get when realizing that a lot of the great things in life cost money and thensome. Your mileage may vary but the point is we're under the impression that Activision "said" they weren't putting in microtransactions, so we're gonna bitch about spending money to support the creators for putting in more content than we expected when we already have the game as is. Do you get that logic? Because I personally see it as trying to send a message to Activision when all you're really doing is slapping everyone on the wrist and shouting at them to "stop having fun".
It's not scummy atall? It gives people a chance who don't have as much time as anyone else to unlock certain things? I don't think it takes anything away from the people who grind to unlock the items because it's free to do so? Money spent by others to unlock items have to spend the rest of their free time working a job mate to pay for them. People who grind the game to get these items need to stop moaning its free items?! If people wanna pay for it with their hard earned money which by the way takes time!? Why shouldn't they be given the chance. It becomes more appealing to a larger audience thus extending the life of the game? How is that such a hard concept to grasp people lol some are just pure idiots 😂
Thats what i say all the timeeeee Everyone keeps on saying "its a 20 year old remake" but i stopped seing it as that a LONG time ago.i see ctrnf as a sequal, a sort of ctr 3 - with the subtitle of nitro fulued. Its its own game!

And especially Winter Festival Grand Prix: a Christmas themed with includes new race track: Gingerbread Joyride, three new karts, new legendary skins like a Christmas themed, and new playable characters: an unknown newest character: it could be Fasty the Moose, and maybe Rusty Walrus and Bearinator that'll be coming by December 6th! And hopefully Activision and Beenox will make six more Grand Prix seasons in 2020 like: another Grand Prix: a Chinese New Year themed with includes Yaya Panda, Warthog and Rilla Roo that'll be coming by January 2020, another Grand Prix: a Mad Scientist themed with includes Baby Cortex, Baby N. Tropy, and Lab Assistant that'll be coming by February 2020, another Grand Prix: a 10th Dimension themed with includes Evil Twins, Evil Crash, and Madame Amberley that'll be coming by March 2020, another Grand Prix: a farm themed with includes Farmer Ernest, and Chick and Stew that'll be coming by April 2020, and another Grand Prix: a boss themed with includes Fake Emperor Velo, Willie Wumpa Cheeks, and Viscount that'll be coming by May 2020, and the last Grand Prix: another and last Spyro and fantasy themed with includes Elora, Ripto, and The Sorceress that'll be coming by June 2020 when Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will be ported by PC. And hopefully Activision and Beenox will bring back the old intro cutscenes of the episodes of CTR TV for an update in the future. I could imagine. And I can't wait for that. 🙂 And after Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, I still can't wait for new Crash Bandicoot game and new Spyro game on PS4 or on PS5 with new contents, new adventures, new levels, new challenges, new stories, new gameplays, new bosses, and new characters that'll be coming in 2020 or in 2021 in future. And I still can't wait for that because I'm a huge fan of Crash & Spyro. 😀 So, what do you guys think? Are you excited for Neon Circus Grand Prix, and the rest of the Grand Prix seasons? And are you still excited for new Crash Bandicoot game and new Spyro game in the future? If you guys are true Crash & Spyro fans, comment below to let me know. 🙂
@BruiseLeeRoy I don't even want all of the stuff in the Pit Stop. Also, with content from the past Grand Prixs coming back, there's no need to worry about losing items you want forever.
Tre' Sheppard I concur and appreciate your enthusiasm for this game’s future content and the future of crash and Spyro! This game is literally about to break every record in the book. They’re bringing back old school characters who we never thought would join Ctrnf, and that they are expanding upon the Crash universe! Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled was probably the safest card that Vicarious Visions had could’ve played if anything, we probably might even see Crash of titans and might over mutants characters because at this point, they’ve revolutionized the crash bandicoot by adding skins/costumes, stickers, customizable vehicle parts of your character’s kart, and additional characters that have never made in the original crash racing games, by the time this game ends the character roster is gonna be so damn freaking broken, it gonna be pretty much like Dragonball z:budokai tenkaichi 3 or Raging Blast series 1&2! Because of how big the character roster selection is going to be! This gonna be one of the best games I ever wanted as a crash fan, having to challenge in online racing competition, having an amazing expanding massive roster, literally every map of each racing stages. This game is about to break records and I can’t believe that they’re are doing this but they are, and I’ve been a long time fan of crash bandicoot, I loved every crash bandicoot game that have ever existed! And I think Activision, Vicarious Visions, Toys For Bob have finally saw the fandom and they’re seeing some of this and listening very loud and clear and they’ve decided to make Crash and Spyro comeback in Full Force, they even homaged and referenced them back with Skylanders and all of the trailers, the concept artwork and even from the figurines. Crash and Spyro are pretty much gonna have a bright future ahead of them.
I hope they add Wumpa time to local arcade, it will make it much easier to rack so much Wumpa coins especially 400 to 800 coins every time on the week and weekend days on single races in Electron Avenue.
Well I'm going to be honest when game was announced I was expecting it to be a remastered with small extra content but when all cnk tracks brand new tracks kart customanzation characters from the past and everything else was announced I came to realized it's more then a remaster it's a remaster in it's own league it's a deluxe remaster that Beenox has dug into the crash treasure chest to be sure that there's a little bit of every crash game in this game and hope Beenox continues this in the months ahead and use what they learn to help out create a brand new crash bandicoot game
The main thing I want to be added before they stop is the cnk story mode, the missing cnk items (maybe reworked if needed?) and the ability to toggle items for races (same way you would for battles). If they do add in the cnk items, they could also play with the idea of a rotating item set for online races, where each day the items would be different (I guess though it may not be balanced, maybe they could try making their own items?) and maybe even some days without items? I just want my races to have more flexibility I guess, and a great way to do that would be to have more items and being able to select which ones you want to play with (if any). Oh and I want relic wheels from the relic challenges in cnk, like the relic paint jobs.
There’s still unbalanced items online, in fact bowling bombs might have teleport glitch which they can hit players even if the ones that shoot them are far away from them.
They should do a Console Grand Prix and in this Grand Prix you play as exclusive characters from respective consoles. For example: Nintendo Switch gets Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon characters; PS4 gets Jak, Ratchet, Sly Cooper, God of War and Uncharted characters, and Xbox One gets Halo, Gears of War, and Rare Ware characters. And each consoles gets it's own Grand Prix track. Nintendo gets a Mario themed track, PS4 gets Haven City from Jak 2, and Xbox One gets a Halo themed track. Like the Spyro Grand Prix. The wumpa fruit and invincibility masks will be replaced with the collectables from each respective game. So the Switch gets coins and a power star; PS4 gets precursor orbs and a Daxter mask; and Xbox One gets (whatever collectable Halo has) and a Halo sword instead of a mask. I could already see Fire Mario being sold at the Pit Stop with a 15% Nitro Points perk and I could see myself unlocking the Jak's outfit in Jak 3 by winning 25 races ... And I guess a gold Master Chief by completing the Grand Prix
I find the idea of an "evolving" game pretty cool. It's nice to see all this direct contact happening between devs and fans. I wish games like Soul Calibur 6 had the same approach as CTR:NF.
We still gotta give the game a entire year to truly see the change, the game came out months ago and it still has many flaws that should've been fixed in those months
Not a bad video Canadian guy. I can agree. More and more and more kept coming to CTR. They took a legendary racing game and perfected it in their own image. Now, to get the online stable and add more options such as cup races and online challenges for points and stuff like that, we'll be set. For me, I only had my sister to play the original game with when I was a kid. So online for me was essential. I think 2020 will be a great start off the year for Nitro Fueled and I can imagine the updates and improvements will continue. I guess I'm realizing now... If it took up to 20 years to get a re-master, Then I can wait a month or so for a better update and keep playing.
It's painful to say this, but I'm gonna have to agree with you. It's just the same old gameplay, you drive, use items win a race, repeat. And for online, people keep disconnecting, and the difficulty of online matchmaking makes the online pro challenges impossible.
@@Dante_Sparda_DMC Glad you agree. If this game is gonna "Evolve" they NEED to fix the online.Everything else is just cosmetic DLC and a few new racers. It is still the same game. MK8D isn't an "Evolved" MK8, it just has more added stuff. Or even Super Street Fighter 2, just more stages and characters.
I'm glad they're adding so much to this game, however to me that kind of tells me they don't have any intention of possibly making another CTR game. Like if they are putting everyone and everything into this game, what could they possibly do on a future game to make it any better than this one? If they put almost every character in the Crash universe in this game, then there's no one left to get excited about for the next one.
Kart racers are a unique enigma of a game. They probably figured a straight up remaster would be decently popular, but not much more. What they did was just keep adding to a rather complex engine they had to build anyway, and in response the game exploded in popularity. I imagine skins, new characters, new karts, and new tracks are WAY easier to make than the engine's physics engine was.
I'm a nobody 79 doubt it, with all the new content we are getting in this remake makes me think what else could they do to make a new game to make it better than this one
@@MattTheHuman9 New consoles will be backwards compatible. It would be better if they kept Nitro Fueled alive with adding new Adventure Modes and the CNK adventure mode as DLC.
Does that mean CTR:NF will be the basis of future Crash racing games? Once everything's polished, they simply reuse assets and make something better of it.
I can't wait for the Neon Circus Grand Prix. I'm gonna try my best to get everything in that along with the Winter Festival before I get stuck working nonstop
They even balance the items. The first Grand Prix was a mess because I had seen three warp orbs on the track at once and the N. Tropy clocks were a problem too. Now you don't see them as often. I see those two items as the blue shell and lightning bolt of Mario Kart. After so many games they still haven't figure out that they need to balance their items.
I loved the original CTR and I am close to loving Nitro-Fueled even more. Despite the flaws that the game may have, the ton of free content for such a cheap game really is a blessing compared to some other franchises and I am impatient to discover what else Beenox has in mind for CTR. I just wish we could have dedicated servers for online play because on that point Mario Kart is superior by far, and with time getting hit by invisible bubbles/beakers really gets tiring. Other than that, the glitched time trial leaderboards should also get cleaned! I'm also looking forward to cross platform play but that's a tougher one 😅 Love CTR :D
Definitely my favorite game to ever come out so far I played the OG for years but this game already has more play time from me then all my other games in my library
well they indeed adding content. So what? i dont call a game "good" because of contents if somethings are broken who cares the content? ofc contents are important i wouldnt play a kart game which has one character and one track. but i wouldnt play a game with so much cars and tracks but with trash mechanics. For CTR they need to add new modes to online, fix the items and do something with the lag issues(invisible items...etc) edit: also i wouldnt say Evolving to adding new contents, if a updates changes the game all the way or something like this i would call that evolve.
I think the same can be said for Gran Turismo, their latest version GT Sport was, in my opinion, meant to be a Demo for the future GT7 but now it's a standalone game in it's own right.
David Chilson That's what I wondered too. They might as well wait for PS5 to release GT7. Better one game per console because during the PS3 saga it appeared Polyphony Digital struggled just to add that second title traditionally, but we only need one game per system at this point because of the next gen power.
@@St33ltr0c1ty Yeah, considering that GT6 came out around the same year as the PS4, they probably should've waited and made it a PS4 game. That's probably why GT6 has the fewest sales of the main GT titles (according to Wikipedia).
I think what they've done with Crash Team Racing is awesome. They added extra tracks, online play, and customisation but without taking away from the original game. A sequel could be nice but I'm not too fussed about that yet. What I would really like to see is future Crash Bandicoot platformer games. I'm not sure if they would be as commercially viable for Beenox though.
This game has such a steep learning curve imo, it’s great and so much fun but I am struggling to master the blue flame for one thing. Urgh, I’ll keep trying but I think I’ve hit my skill peak.
Beenox really cares about this game and it's fans. Yes, the issues are there like the state of online and invisible walls, but I commend them and love them for what they have created.
The amount of new content and enhancement is something very impressive. They took the time to add more new things to the game every month so far. But the question is, for how long?
I have played it EVERYDAY since launch, mostly online. Not many games can do the same. Well, it was one my favorite games on the ps1 too, along with Crash Bash.
Completely agreed with it but they absolutely need to do a majestic work to online play, because imagine getting hitted by a crate after 2 seconds from the real hit registration
I agree wholeheartedly CGE, really intruiged to see what Beenox does with the series next. I feel like too many people are focusing on the issues with the game and not what ot's accomplished. Granted, the glaring issues with online still being there sucks, but as far as I know Beenox has never done an online mode before and it's a real challenge to get those working right. It probably helps that I'm more of a single player gamer. Besides, issues like that have never ruined a game for me. I feel bad for all the people that take this stuff so seriously. It's like some people feel they're entitled to perfect games when perfection can't truly exist.
The only thing I was kinda expecting was the Nitro Kart tracks being added, because otherwise we would have just 1 game remake being sold for the same price as the N. Sane Trilogy, which had 3 remade games and maybe some additional characters that weren't in the original CTR. But I definitely wasn't expecting all the grand prix content and so many additional skins and vehicles.
Samuel Johnson people should complain about how they said we’d get wumpa time outside of matchmaking with the Halloween Grand Prix because it sure as hell isnt like that for me. Still only works in online games.
Man even though I wasn’t much of a fan of CTR I gotta say that this remaster becoming a whole new thing by itself would be awesome with all those character and vehicle designs too, I’ll definitely keep this in mind too rock on CGE! 😄😄😊😊❤️💕
I love it, but also hate it. It’s too grindy and repetitive and I haven’t played it since the end of Spyro. Just constantly farming coins got boring to me.
@@The1bossdon You could be right, I just couldn't play anymore. I think my problem is that I'm a 100% in guy on games. Just need other ways to get characters imo, but that's just me haha
Anyone else notice that warp orbs are non existent now? Like I get the hate for item spamming but dang now theres nothing that can stop first place at high levels.
It was actually to be expected. 2019 was the year of the battlepass infestation.Never thought CTR would be an exception. Grand prix are just a version of a battlepass. Luckily it's free.
More kart racing goodness than one could even ask for!! Playing this almost daily since launch, just because the gameplay feels so good! I do enjoy the cosmetics and great new tracks, but the gameplay and having most of the characters in are things I value most.
Didn't know about engine swaps being a thing. I should tell my friend. His favorite character is ripper too but he hated high handling characters. Speaking of, was there any balance changes to high handling? That's my favorite engine but it sucked last I played a couple months back.

FIX THE INVISIBLE WALLS! The game is approaching 5 months old and this is still a problem!
...and yet we still can’t customise our own cups for some couch multiplayer good times
Tom M I’ve been begging for this since before the game was out 😩
The one thing Mario kart has over CTR
So what
- you 2019
Great video, but one thing that is SUPER important to say is that also, ALL of this content (specially grand prix) are completely FREE. We don't need season passes or buying as DLC. Sure, there are microtransactions and I sure do hate it, but we can't deny this is AMAZING, what they're doing. That would surely make me happily buy a Nitro Kart Adventure Mode DLC if it comes to light.
Crash Nitro Fueled has truly blessed us with Megumi.
This is my favorite kart racing game ever
Me too.
Better than Mario KArt? I have wanted to try this game, but never saw the point because I already own Mario Kart. Anyone play both? Pros and cons?
Izzy Thomas I’ve played and owned every Mario kart (except 3ds) and have played CTRNF since launch so here’s what I have to say
Mario Kart
Pros: great controls, cool track design, cool customization, you get to play as Link, 42 playable characters
Cons: LAZY and BAD choices for the roster, incredibly dumb item balance, unfair AI, bad online, and it doesn’t require much skill (you could be the best player in the world and can still lose due to the BS of items)
CTR
Pros: FANTASTIC roster, 40 playable characters (soon to be about 43), you can race as Spyro, great controls, incredible freedom to choose stats and customize, great track design, ok online, cool outfits for characters (that don’t take up slots like in Mario Kart), a cool adventure mode, balanced items, fair AI, rewards skill, free DLC.
Agree with all of the things you said but they still have to fix the servers, balance the items and add more game modes
itemless is one many want
I would KILL for online without items
Not very many crash characters left to be added to roster, Rilla Roo, Victor, Moritz, Madame Amberely, Pasadena O’ Possum, Willie Wumpa Cheeks, Chick and Stew are the only characters left to be added to roster, unless more Spyro series characters will be added in the future as well.
I LOVE all the new content! It's what keeps me playing almost daily and excited to come back every month.
Sure but would you rather have to pay for DLC packs?
@@cheddar07 not really, why not giveaway new content in a free update
Evolving would be if Beenox fix the online because there are a lot of bugs yet
Thats what i say all the timeeeee
Everyone keeps on saying "its a 20 year old remake" but i stopped seing it as that a LONG time ago.i see ctrnf as a sequal, a sort of ctr 3 - with the subtitle of nitro fulued. Its its own game!
My list of wants.
The story from nitro cart.
Ranked online.
Better online matchmaking.
Characters from other PlayStation franchises(if possible).
Beenox does not care about the player base because if they did we would already have cup races and no item races in the online mode so sadly beenox just doesn't care about us
After Spooky Grand Prix that'll be ended by this Sunday in 3 more days, I definitely can't wait for Neon Circus Grand Prix with includes new race track: Carnival, three new karts, new legendary skins like Circus themed, and new playable characters: Pasadena, Von Clutch, Koala Kong, and a newest character of Crash series: King Paul III the Chicken that'll be coming by November 8th!
And after Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, I still can't wait for new Crash Bandicoot game and new Spyro game on PS4 or on PS5 with new contents, new adventures, new levels, new challenges, new stories, new gameplays, new bosses, and new characters that'll be coming in 2020 or in 2021 in future. And I still can't wait for that because I'm a huge fan of Crash & Spyro. 😀
So, what do you guys think? Are you excited for Neon Circus Grand Prix, and the rest of the Grand Prix seasons? And are you still excited for new Crash Bandicoot game and new Spyro game in the future? If you guys are true Crash & Spyro fans, comment below to let me know. 🙂
@BruiseLeeRoy Really? 🙂
@BruiseLeeRoy Good idea. Farm your Wumpa Coins as much as you can and avoid the microtransactions. That's what I'm doing.
@BruiseLeeRoy I don't even want all of the stuff in the Pit Stop. Also, with content from the past Grand Prixs coming back, there's no need to worry about losing items you want forever.
@BruiseLeeRoy Good for you.
I agree. I'm so f***ing tired of grinding Wumpa Coins.
They need a map maker and better online playlist options cup races online
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
They need to release a complete edition on disc when the grand prixs end.
That would kinda kill the point of obtaining coins and doing the grand prix challenges
Yeah I’d agree if you are suggesting the disc copies not needing to update.
He didn't say "after" though
By end I meant the grand prixs are DONE with completely.
@@cyburntwentytwelve2455 They will add everything to pit stop after GP's end so pretty useless idea.
I still can’t believe how much free extra content we have got, fantastic! This game is huge.
I never expected it to go this far, but I am so happy it did
They should do a Console Grand Prix and in this Grand Prix you play as exclusive characters from respective consoles.
Idk, I kinda feel that this game isn't a crash game anymore.
I could not agree with you more it's basically some crappy wallet milker simulator just coated with a Crash Bandicoot skin
Why?
I find the idea of an "evolving" game pretty cool. It's nice to see all this direct contact happening between devs and fans. I wish games like Soul Calibur 6 had the same approach as CTR:NF.
Why is there no 60 FPS option?
We still gotta give the game a entire year to truly see the change, the game came out months ago and it still has many flaws that should've been fixed in those months
I agree, but I would have thought they would do this with Twinsanity, being an incomplete but beloved game and all
Not a bad video Canadian guy.
Here's my thought about CTRNF
Canadian Guy Eh
BEST
!
VIDEO GAME
!
EVER!
Not really evolving, just DLC Updates.
Plus Online still sucks.
Ay, let’s hope the Circus Grand Prix is exciting
Maybe for next Halloween, they can sir Daniel Fortesque
Yes!!! I actually said in one of his other vids that maybe for next year they should try for dan
What about Jack Skeleton?
I'm still hoping for a Crash 4 with Twinsanity remake, to introduce or re-introduce Crunch and Nina, then hopefully an all brand new Crash game.
But in a Crash 4 Remake, I want a Playable Crunch after I beat him In the Final Boss.
@@conradojavier7547 YES along with different skins for 105% complete for Crunch, Crash and Coco.
I fill we Will not need a New CTR for a Long time , so the New crash games can make New characters and add New themes
True
True kinda want a new game that's not racing where I can play as some of these characters.
My honest opinion, this is not a CTR game anymore. Enough said.
Why?
Thiss is a ctr game in its base...
Agreed, it’s a clusterf*ck of the original CTR mixed with all the horrible post ND content and MTX
@@Adam63545 well if u don't like the game y r u here 😂😂😂
@@Adam63545 Mate just finish the adventure mode on the classic difficulty and you can move on when you hate free new content so much.
Marvel: Infinity War is the greatest crossover in history.
CTR: Nitro-Fueled: I'm about to end this company's whole career.
Beenox adds some characters and tracks.
Canadian Guy: Is this a new game?
Kart racers are a unique enigma of a game. They probably figured a straight up remaster would be decently popular, but not much more.
What they did was just keep adding to a rather complex engine they had to build anyway, and in response the game exploded in popularity. I imagine skins, new characters, new karts, and new tracks are WAY easier to make than the engine's physics engine was.
I'm glad to see a new mode added with the latest Grand Prix. Here's to more new ways to play in the future!
"So what?" - What CGE thinks we think
"No shit." - What we actually think
It’s become something on it’s own rather than a CTR remake. Am slightly disappointed with the customer support surrounding the game tho
The question is will there even be another crash racing game after a this???
Not for atleast a decade
I'm a nobody 79 doubt it, with all the new content we are getting in this remake makes me think what else could they do to make a new game to make it better than this one
@@Alan-yo4uu Probs one every console generation if the series doesn't die again
@@MattTheHuman9 New consoles will be backwards compatible. It would be better if they kept Nitro Fueled alive with adding new Adventure Modes and the CNK adventure mode as DLC.
Does that mean CTR:NF will be the basis of future Crash racing games?
Once everything's polished, they simply reuse assets and make something better of it.
Question, where’s tonight’s stream?
I can't wait for the Neon Circus Grand Prix. I'm gonna try my best to get everything in that along with the Winter Festival before I get stuck working nonstop
This game if one of my favorite game and I really did not know to little about Crash Bandicoot or CTR.
these remakes are basically my first time playing the games so i dont think its always bad to remake games.
Crash Team Racing is definitely evolving, it's absolutely N'sane!! 😉😂😭
Don’t forget microtransactions
They really celebrated CTR with those
Definitely my favorite game to ever come out so far I played the OG for years but this game already has more play time from me then all my other games in my library
well they indeed adding content. So what? i dont call a game "good" because of contents if somethings are broken who cares the content? ofc contents are important i wouldnt play a kart game which has one character and one track. but i wouldnt play a game with so much cars and tracks but with trash mechanics. For CTR they need to add new modes to online, fix the items and do something with the lag issues(invisible items...etc)
edit: also i wouldnt say Evolving to adding new contents, if a updates changes the game all the way or something like this i would call that evolve.
I'm not a big online racing type. Is the single-player experience a nice challenge here?
I wish they also create no powerup mode for local races
Do You Think They’ll Remake Crash Tag Team Racing? I Think We Should Get That Remastered
Wasn't there a 5-year plan for Crash Bandicoot? We could expect a new game in 2020 😃
How many grand prix you think we will have ?
We need migrating hosts and perhaps crossplay. Getting races going online has been a headache /:
I think what they've done with Crash Team Racing is awesome. They added extra tracks, online play, and customisation but without taking away from the original game. A sequel could be nice but I'm not too fussed about that yet. What I would really like to see is future Crash Bandicoot platformer games. I'm not sure if they would be as commercially viable for Beenox though.
I'm loving this, I never knew that the game was gonna evolve like this, this is awesome, besides I already won 4 grand prix events in the game!
Canadian my friend, CTR is gonna get bigger than ever! Also I'm sure more characters will be joining the race if more Grand Prixs get announced! 🏆🏁
I don't care how hard people complains about this game, i think is great. Free content, cool updates, online is kinda glitchy but playable.
This game has such a steep learning curve imo, it’s great and so much fun but I am struggling to master the blue flame for one thing. Urgh, I’ll keep trying but I think I’ve hit my skill peak.
I just hope we get a brand new original game after this.
Also... we need a Crash Bash Remake, to compete against Super Smash
Yeah! So this game can free me from my prison also Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex Remake too.
Completely agreed with it but they absolutely need to do a majestic work to online play, because imagine getting hitted by a crate after 2 seconds from the real hit registration
RazerRiver Crash Bash mini games were always underwhelming. sorry but Crash Bash can’t compete with Mario party 2 and 5
They just need to fix online and it's a solid hit in my opinion
I agree wholeheartedly CGE, really intruiged to see what Beenox does with the series next. I feel like too many people are focusing on the issues with the game and not what ot's accomplished. Granted, the glaring issues with online still being there sucks, but as far as I know Beenox has never done an online mode before and it's a real challenge to get those working right. It probably helps that I'm more of a single player gamer. Besides, issues like that have never ruined a game for me. I feel bad for all the people that take this stuff so seriously. It's like some people feel they're entitled to perfect games when perfection can't truly exist.
We need no items mode, online cups, fixing invisible walls and improving the online stability. After that it will be perfect
Still waiting for the fixed online modus..
People are still talking about the MTX, how long is this gonna go on?
People need to get over it. Go look at cods mtx system this is miles better. I have zero problems with unlocking items I want by just playing.
I just hope that Ripto will make it in... Being one of the antagonists of Crash Purple/Spyro Orange, he needs to be there.
I expect to race around santas workshop come december.
I love it, but also hate it. It’s too grindy and repetitive and I haven’t played it since the end of Spyro. Just constantly farming coins got boring to me.
Well you missed out on the best gp so far which ends in 3 days
@@The1bossdon You could be right, I just couldn't play anymore. I think my problem is that I'm a 100% in guy on games. I played nothing but CTRNF for 3 months, constantly in the top 5% and it burned me out.
Also the fact every month is the same grind got old for me.
I am a fan of you work Canadian Guy Eh!
Beenox have been listening to us a lot and fixed tons of things in the game hopefully they will fix the constant disconnect from lobbys.
Yep. I'm definitely gonna get this game for Christmas. 👍
Oh yeah .this game is insane
More kart racing goodness than one could even ask for!! Playing this almost daily since launch, just because the gameplay feels so good! I do enjoy the cosmetics and great new tracks, but the gameplay and having most of the characters in are things I value most.
Didn't know about engine swaps being a thing. I should tell my friend. His favorite character is ripper too but he hated high handling characters. Speaking of, was there any balance changes to high handling? That's my favorite engine but it sucked last I played a couple months back.
