Dude? You scream every night for a week and let me know how that goes. As vocalists, we need to stay in our lane. Drugs and alcohol are a contributing factor as well. When you lose it, better to lower an octave. Adapt.
Exactly. Class act. She could have overpowered every voice in that concert, but chose restraint and respect. Not even a fan of hers but I may be now
Miley singing classic rock is her sweet spot, she has the perfect voice for it.
I just wish it would happen more often. Every time she does it she just kills it. I'd love to see her get on stage with Rob Halford and the rest of Judas Priest and sing a couple 🤞
Not a big Miley Cyrus fan, but her and Patrick Wilson added such a boost to "Photograph" and the crowd roared louder than most other sets. Well done.
I like how you discount Def Leppard, the spine of the fucking song. Give me a break dude.
@@the406seadonkey6 I luv Def Leppard. Saw them back in the 90s. Joe's voice is fading like many other older rockers.
Interesting fact: Miley Cyrus posted on her instagram yesterday the voicemail that Taylor left to her. He asked where she is moving (they were neighbors) and said he's listening to Def Leppard' Photograph and that she would sound absolutely amazing on this song and he would want her to sing it. Now it has the whole new meaning. Miley, you made Taylor proud. RIP
Miley? You smashed it ❤
Miley is so good at whatever the hell she feels like doing, I don’t even care anymore. Im here for it.
You must have been watching something else. One days she’s country, the next she tries metal, she’s a kiddie pop singer with no range
And no identity. How
Much does she pay to get in these events? She surely isn’t invited.
@@tbrennancreative4958 Thank you 👍 There was NO place for her at this tribute, none. Wtf was she even doing there?🤮 Also a last minute very late add. Wasn't even originally invited. Gag me. I couldn't watch. Rock? Not 🚫 Loser country hick? Yes ☑️
So many other choices! Also not enough from Brian and Roger... Taylor's FAVE band: QUEEN 👑 Go figure 🤔
You guys are hilarious. Oh, no! She sings different genres! Get over yourselves. She’s wonderful. And they were friends. Thats what she was doing there.
Miley and the Foos go way back. She was perfect. She could make a dead man walk......and Joe Elliot's voice pick up a bit. Honestly, I used to dislike her but she got her shit together.
@@tbrennancreative4958 everyone used to dislike her for her trashy era, look at her now, grown and mature and she sings INCREDIBLE!!! You need to get over it- she has songs with stevie nicks, billy idol, joan jett, this is her identity, shes keeping rock alive and we love her for it- jump on the boat, everyone loves her now
Def Leppard and the successor band to Nirvana, on one stage together, and joined by Miley Cyrus. Forget about different eras and genres, at the end of the day a great band is a great band.
She looks better than she has in a long while.
Hope she keeps rockin', no more poppin'.
She let her hair grow out. She doesn’t have that 10 year old boy bowl haircut anymore.
Don’t care what anyone says. THAT WAS A HOT MESS!!! No feeling one way or the other about Cyrus, but they all sucked in that rendition. BIG TIME!
For us Gen xers...this was our youth. Nothing will ever compare to what the 80s brought us. U know why it was so great..It was the music and what it meant to u. no internet..no social media..no tiktok..no FB..Just strait awesome. I can't even begin to think how cool it is that Taylor touched so many lives of all generations. I remember the day when Kurt went to the other side..and I was like dam. Who's gonna Finnish this. Well Dave let us know. He found what had to be done. Also...Shane..u sir someday will be in the group with Dave..Phil Collins..Jon Bonhem.
I'm almost certainly one of "the old rock fans" you refer to. She did really, really great. I'm not going to spend money on her earlier releases. She, like I (and all of my friends and acquaintances) did not always make the wisest choices. She has improved her vocal technique and chosen a different genre. I say "Thank You very much for joining us".
I saw Def Leppard live upstate New York back in the day they sound just as good today as they did back then and I appreciate Miley Cyrus rocking 80s hairband look more than you can imagine
Miley Rules!!! I’m a 51 year old rock fan, and Miley Cyrus can kick ass!! You go girl!!🤟🏼❤️
Miley for sure is a rockergirl
Loved the additional touch of having Olivia Newton Johns image on the other drum set s Bass drum that is something Taylor would have definitely done as a mark of respect if he were alive .
Damn, I didn't even know that was Miley Cyrus... Fine, fine and FINE!!!
Can't believe I'm going to say this but I really enjoyed Photograph. Everyone involved included.👏👏👏
This ruled surprisingly hard. Banging tunes executed brilliantly.
You can tell the Leppard guys have just come off a big tour, they were in top form
Miley fucking rules dude.
miley sounds amazing
If you haven't seen Miley Cyrus do all these other rock covers...you are missing out. She is seriously awesome.
If they mad about this their brains woul explode if they knew Taylor Swift did a whole set with Def Leppard
100% agree.
MIley has the body of a little boy and cant sing.
yeah but covers are boring really, she's a made artist and has said she loves hard rock, why not do original stuff?
It’s easy to do covers. Just keep practicing the right pitch and tone and eventually you get it- with her coach.
I love this Miley better
Love Dave's reaction when the first notes of Photograph are played!!
Miley is amazing. The duet she did with Billy Idol is also amazing. Do more heavier stuff Miley.
Miley killing it as per usual! 🔥
I would love to know how many songs Grohl has learned - from the many covers that Foo Fighters have done, the shows playing for Tom Petty, Queens of the Stone Age songs that he wasn't the drummer on and the vast number of songs he learned for these tribute concerts. It's astounding to me.
Love this, this whole concert was people's music
Kind of reminds me of Deborah Harry. And that's a big compliment in my book. Love it!!
There are no words to describe the emotion of seeing this, how historic!
That's hysterical how she dressed just like Joe... looks like a time machine
Me encanta el toque que siempre le da Miley!!
Little Miley is 30 yrs old now....😮😮😮😊.
I be one of those Old Rock Music guys, also being a professional Rock Guitarist touring all the wold in the 80's and 90' she rocked it big time nice job Miley'
Isley truly honored her friend Taylor Hawkins that night .Def Leopard knew the deal ,so they treated it as if she were a member of the band, and they were altogether to honor Hawkins .Check out how she left stage, stopping to hug a band crew member and quietly leaving the stage .So many emotions going on ,my heart went out to her .Consummate professional, each one of them And Miley
27 years ago with an Anti-Anything 80s MTV... I couldn't imagine Def Leppard jams with Foo Fighters and Weezer doing Pyromania classics
Probably bc Weezer and Foo Fighters didn't exist 27 years ago.
@@boofert.washington2499 Except they did! We're in 2022 after all!
@@boofert.washington2499 actually Weezer and Foo Fighters did exist 27 years ago. Weezer's first album was in 1994 and Foo Fighters' first was in 1995. Do the math
@@boofert.washington2499 if my head still works properly i believe 1995 was 27 years ago... Foo Fighters Pre Taylor debuted and Weezer's Buddy Holly ruled MTV "Alternative Nation"
Miley , you definitely have a voice for rock. Keep going...Great job for Taylor. ❤
It's odd and cool that Hannah Montana has helped keep rock alive from Dead Petz to this.
thanks Miley. for reals.
I saw DL perform this in 88. Incredible. Great to see them still going strong.
I love everything about this performance!!
The flame maple on Phil's guitar is gorgeous!!
Great job focusing on the overhead screen instead of the stage! Thank you for posting. Happy Trails! Rest In Peace Taylor Hawkins.✌
Rest In Peace Kurt…. Nirvana is the real godfather.😊
Agreed, John. This was awesome.
Miley has proven she is not only an extremely versatile artist, but she has most defiantly earned her spot as a rock star also. Her voice has evolved into something special, and it’s perfect for rockin out!!! Love her!
plus she is so sexy!!!damn!!!
My very first concert was Def Leppard on the Hysteria tour. It was a great way to start the concert going part of my life. 300 miles each way, but part of any great adventure is the journey itself.
My second favorite concert was, as it happens, the Foo Fighters with the Chili Peppers...
R.I.P. Taylor
Perfect. You go Miley. Born for Rock and Roll
Photograph!!!
Wow!! What an awesome video!!! Everyone on stage looked like they were having so much fun... especially the great members of Def Leppard!! Great to see this!!
