    Such a beautiful and talented woman. When I was a boy, Alanis was the first female singer/artist that made me realize IDGAF about the gatekeepers and to listen to whatever gives me joy. "Jagged Little Pill" is an absolute banger to this day, and this performance was cool af!!!

    So cool, seeing Chad drumming on this here. When you remember that his fellow band members at that time (Flea & Dave Navarro) did the recording with Alanis in Summer 1994 for the record. This is Red Hot Chili Peppers coming full circle on the You oughta know song!

      It’s those live moments that reveal a musician’s character/ personality as well as their professionalism to me. This was total class from Alanis, and smoothed over the early fill so it was not even that big a deal. I appreciated the skill and humanity!

    Saw her on her first tour for Jagged Little Pill in a small club in Houston, Tx. I told my friends at the time, that's the last time you'll ever see her in a small venue. She will sell out every place she plays. Taylor was the drummer and I was able to sit on the stage while they played.

    Many don’t know that flea and David Navarro were in the studio next to her recording and they both stepped in to record this song with Taylor on drums. They heard it and invited themselves in which they welcomed open arms. Let’s not forget that chad and Taylor were so tight in life, they are god parents to their kids

    It's such a shame that Taylor Hawkins passed on. And we all would want to rather have him here than not but we will look back and talk about what an incredible tribute this was and how many different combinations of musicians came together to play some incredible music. It is awesome to see.

    She is still such a beast. Alanis can steal the stage very quickly with those pipes and her lyrics. I've enjoyed some of her now recent work, but, "Jagged Little Pill" is one of those records that hit me right in the feels when it came out. She sounds amazing, looks great, and I hope she keeps shredding!

    All these years later she still got it... As a single parent me and my mother spent a lot of time together.. and went to a couple of her concerts in my younger years and I'mma tell you she could put it down.. that was one of my earlier memories of Taylor. And when he joined with Dave and the Foo fighters that was the band of my youth An on... You could tell Alanis was giving you her younger self through the whole thing.. that was awesome as hell to see.. it sucks that we have to lose Legends for Legends to join on stage..       I saw her live August 2021 and not only was I impressed with the backwards walking at one point she spun in a circle like a five year old trying to get dizzy and then TOOK OFF WALKING IN A STRAIGHT LINE. I was literally shocked. I could never. I would have fallen off the stage🤷🏼‍♂️
