As much as I've enjoyed all the other drummers who've sat in with the surviving Foos for these tribute concerts, Rufus is the one who actually seems to be almost channeling Taylor...both physically and emotionally. It's as if he's saying "Since you can't do this anymore, man...I'm going to drum for both of us now." If the FFs continue again someday, either recording or touring or both, I hope Rufus is included in the healing process .I think he needs it, and I also believe he's the one TH would've chosen to carry on with his musical bros. Roger has been my hero for 40 years. I love Queen and I will always be Queen's biggest fan, but Rufus has got me so excited for the next generation. Let's go!
I know he is with The Darkness but God, if they decide to go forward with someone new it HAS to be Rufus. Rufus, despite being the son of one of the best drummers alive, looked up to Taylor as much as Taylor looked up to Roger and there is a part of him in Rufus and I am sure Justin and the rest of the band would not only understand but encourage it. He just fits, it just works and even though I am literally heartbroken that Taylor is gone, seeing Rufus play with them brings me to tears every time and its the perfect fit!

Rufus you made Taylor so very proud. I cried for your pain. Your performance was full of the emotion of the night. If you weren’t Taylor on those drums….❤
I really, really hope Rufus takes the seat when the Foo Fighters continue. It's still impossible to comprehend the untimely and tragic loss of Taylor Hawkins who, just like Dave and the others, was just a beautiful, kind hearted Guy who loved Music, Family Friends and Life. He struck me as a humble Man; I kind of imagine him looking down from the heavens on these tribute concerts, grinning and shaking his head with embarassment at all of this pure love, and admiration from hundreds of millions of people radiating for him. It's damn hard when a Band member dies. Hell, it's damn hard when anyone dies, because the pain and grief is almost unbearable and it never really heals. But I think if one considers how the soul who has left this world might feel, they would invariably want to see unity harmony and love binding all their loved ones together. Rufus totally gets the chemistry; he will, given the chance, bring his own unique panache, flair, style and most important love of the music to the Foo Fighters, and ultimately the fans. I would love to see that. But I'd also hope that Shane Hawkins is included at every gig because he is a huge part of the whole Family and oh my did he smash it out the park. And it cannot have been easy for him to do that. This is something that has moved the whole world I think, and I believe we should all hug our loved ones just that little bit longer. For me, the Foo Fighters are slowly but surely ascending to the rightful place as the biggest and one of the finest rock and roll bands of all time. I grew up on a self imposed diet of Led Zeppelin and the Foos are easily right up there with them, The Beatles, Queen, anyone you'd like to mention. I've played in bands semi pro for 20 years; lost some Musicians due to ill health along the way. It hurts, it really does. It's a reminder of just how precious and fragile but beautiful Life is. Music is surely the greatest leveller amongst all of us, and therefore one of the most important things we all have to enable us to live in Peace. I know the world is messed up right now, but together we can fix it, by uniting via Art, and Love. Thank you Steve P for capturing this phenomenal rock and roll performance, one of the most emotionally charged performances I've ever seen. And to all Music fans who see this, here's to a better World. Oh hell, it's just my humble opinion 🙂

Wow. I mean, WOW! He played his heart out.
Rufus Taylor looks like a young version of Ozzy Osbourne. Rufus Taylor should play Ozzy Osbourne in a Black Sabbath biopic! 🎭🎨🥁🎸
Less tours but with Rufus filling in each of them would definitely work for me
Goosebumps.
Vote#1 for new drummer!
He's certainly the perfect fit for foo fighters.

Rufus!!! 💕
If you watch best of you live at Sirius XM, that is the solo hawkins slayed.. Rufus did a damn good job!
The Foo will hire Rufus to continue playing gigs, he's a perfect fit, Taylors favorite drummer is his dad and he can play as well as anyone. It will happen ✌️💙
Oh Rufus - you’re amazing! Breaks my heart when you break down 💔
If the Foo's do carry on. Rufus may just be the perfect fit.
Ficarei muito feliz se Rufus Taylor assumir as baquetas do Foo.
Eu também!! O Josh Freese também seria excelente!!

Wow Roger must be so proud and I bet Taylor is smiling with this young talent in the room knowing the music will carry on 😊😊😊😊
I’m always impressed with this song live. Like, how and who decided we the crowd were the back up singers. 😂❤ It’s always so awesome to see that.
What an absolutelu amazing night! I was there in the back, where the super die hards were at as josh homme put it lol won't ever forget it. so full of emotion. so full of just incerdible music. Best night ever-taylor would've been proud. RIP taylor...fly hjigh
Alison Hawkins sitting right behind the drum riser - must have been a heavy night for her, but Taylor is forever remembered by everyone in the FF world and beyond. What a great guy he was!
Cool, hot and spot-on rockin’.
🎤🎸🎵🎹🥁
The chemistry 🧪 was undeniable during this performance. RT without a doubt should fill in the gap to continue the FF tradition of live shows in the future❤
I'm not crying 😭 this was the hardest concert to watch. I will remember that day like it was yesterday Taylor passed the day before my birthday. Rest in paradise Taylor.
Shane vs. Rufus. I''ve loved Roger since I was 11, 45 years ago, But, I as much as I love Roger (who is the God of Drums!), Fufus IMHO seems to be the incumbent to be fair. I love this guy's ability! There's no calculation that gets me in the room, but I'd love to bet on these creatures!
If you have ever played in a band 5:20 is the look of "we found him".
Pat's face said it all
I think the very last shot of Pat looking at Rufus says exactly that too
Perfect fit made in heaven Legend Rogers unbelievably powerful son/ foo fighters new drummer
Great chemistry between them
When you look at Taylor Hawkins' wife watching Rufus play who looks like a copy of Taylor it's a really sad sight.
She has known Rufus as long as Taylor has. That was love.
Absolutely electric. Wow
Rufus is simply amazingzing....👄
Rufus Hawkins ,played the drums great !!🥁
Ru nailed it !! 🤍
By far the best one for the job!
These legacy drummers ARE AMAZING!! Between Rufus and Shane, I can't wait to see where they go.
That right there, is the Foo's new drummer, if/when they decide to continue as a band.
what an incredible performance. insane. rufus is the man! and can we appreciate how much this drumsound slaps?! holy shite!!!
Rufus blew me away 🥰🥰
Wow! Amazing! Rufus kills it!
woooowww Rufus!!! Esa bateria echa fuego... Bravo!
If the Foo really continue, this is their drummer.
Thanks for getting this Steve P 🙏 A truly monumental display by Rufus, which you can see, hear and feel how much this performance meant to Him and everyone watching ♥️🤘🏻 Rufus hits hard, but that’s probably the hardest I’ve ever seen him hit the drums…. It was an incredible moment 🥺 Which seems to choke me up every time I watch it 🥺🥺 Inspiring 💪🏻
Can’t. Stop. Watching.
