The pickle juice is a wonderful addition. The juices from canned pickled foods is so good. I use jalapeno juice in a soup recipee that I make. Jalapeno taste without overwhelming heat (which mu stomach can no longer take).
A classic favorite. It's perfect for me open faced on toast or an English muffin... Any crisp bread ie Wasa type, or simply on a saltine! All delicious 😋 👍🌻
I love the lowly tuna sandwich on a wrap with buttercrunch lettuce and thin sliced tomato, so good. I am lazy and just use a good sweet relish instead of the diced pickle.)
Looks good! I use sweet relish instead of dill but I like the fresh dill in there. Hard to find fresh dill where I live...any fresh herbs is frustrating unless I want to drive hours to Whole Foods here in US. Also the oil packed for me ends up smelling fishy even when I get albacore tuna so I stick with water packed and I'd do the butter but only if it's toasted first. Think I'm gonna go make one now!!!🤗 Love everything you do!! Been a fan for years!!
hold salt oil ,butter 1/3 mayonaise ,use only whole grain bread cucumbers instead of pickles its much more healthier and you'll be enjoying these sandwiches well into old age
Sorry to counter nag but nowhere he suggested that he is taking it to work. But that's a great idea of tucking for taking it to work or picnic (btw I'm curious if people still go for good ol fashioned picnics?) 😀
Always took Tuna to work, never had lettuce on it, never buttered the bread, used sweet pickle relish (drained excess juices) and no sogginess ever. My mom...talking 1970's here people, made it on white bread which can easily soak up juices but it never got soggy. If you over do the pickles and the pickle juice nd too much mayo then yeah it;ll be soggy but if you balance it properly there's never a worry. No toasting the bread, no lettuce...never a soggy sandwich and not a dried tuna salad either.
Oh the debate & comments ! 😂 Not usually seen on your videos. Probably cuz this is a “ classic “ & we all remember how our moms used to make it. ( for me, I prefer the Subway recipe: albacore, Best Foods, s & p. That’s it, no veg. Plus the layer of potato chips added when eating 🤓)
Loved the recipe. For me, I would leave out the butter. I recalled many years ago, I was spending the day with friends on a Saturday, helping with moving some heavy items and yard work and her mother who is english was visiting the US and made a tuna sandwich with buttered bread and I (hopefully) politely declined.
@@dinobert06 Oh no. There are only two ways. Diagonally which is the posh way, or horizontally...having a rounded or straight crust. The crusts have two different textures, so you can never cut vertically.
Looked good until you squeezed the crap out of it. I have no idea why food influencers think squishing beautifully made food with their hands adds to the appeal. As an actual chef, it's disgusting.
do it your own way then and keep it to yourself..she's been cooking for years and you being a chef means diddly. i've had chef prepared meals that look like a 9yr old cooked it and tasted like shoes so being a chef means squat.
Excellent sandwich. Made this for brunch on a public holiday. Had 2.5 sandwiches, couldn’t get enough. Didn’t have fresh dill so I used dried.

I had no pickles so used pickled olives. Was best sandwich I've ever had. It's going in my special fav recipes folder for sure!😊
@@MrDreamer60 Oh, that sounds good.
AND,.......add a few boiled eggs, cut the celery as small as the pickle, salt and pepper, finely chopped onions... and a sliced tomato.....❤
U really made a great and tasty sandwich.. greetings from Scotia
I believe you have mastered the tuna sano.
Very healthy delicious snack
Love the dill pickles and fresh dill. Yummy.
Making that for sure 😋
love seeing australian ingredients 😀
This is my new obsession. Absolutely delish. Thank you, Nagi ❤

youre makin me hungry
The bread should be toasted!
Yeahh I’m making this on air-fryer toasted, wholemeal sourdough bread 🤌🏽
This looks delicious! You can’t go wrong with a tuna sandwich! 😋 Next time I make one I’ll use this recipe!
Looks good 👍🏼
Pretty yummy thanks
LOOOKS very delicious, BUT i always added Pettie green Peas & shredded carries too ✌
Damn I’m making this!!!
I’m a sandwich FREAK lol
Thank you 😊

Never thought to add pickle juice, it will be there next time, thanks!!!
So damn good 😌
Tasty
Awrsome❤

very goood👌👌👌
Looks so fresh. I always add a little sugar in mine though 😂 I’m crazy 😅
I usually eat tuna sandwich on breakfast or in dinner
egg sandwich lang ni daddy kinakain ko
Hi
Can you please mention the measurements / quantities Of ingredients for this sandwich thanks ❤
your bread is very bread
i mean its the breadest bread i’ve ever seen
i don't like the tuna dry so i use the oil in it and break it apart and let it soak it up.
looks good will give it a try.
Was so tasty with dijon mustard and mayo . You won't need to add any additional oil 😊
Umm sorry to Nag-i but you gotta make a lettuce bed to tuck the tuna in so your bread doesn't get soggy when you take it to work!
Sorry to counter nag but nowhere he suggested that he is taking it to work.

@@Robbie_S picnics rock. Let's go sometime and tuck our tuna
Wow such a small thing to complain about
If you butter your bread it will help keep from getting soggy.

Bánh kẹp cá ngừ dễ làm
Why butter the bread?
Why use tuna stored in oil and butter the bread?

The only things that go in my Tuna Fish is chopped green olives and mayo. Mayo on the bread and that's all folks.
Wait, why the cold butter?
Lack of mayo got me in tears and lack of trangles
i didnt even use mayo only dijon mustard and it still tasted good
I would have toasted the bread
I'm just floored that anyone needs a recipe for a tuna sandwich😂. I'll just have my pickles on the side, please...preferably olives.
Toast the bread
Pan fry shallots mixed with canned tuna to make sandwich.

Put one slab of Turkey Breast on there 💡
music too loud...
Butter 🧈 okay 😳
No lettuce
Looks good, but that music!! Torturous.
It was all going great until you cut the sandwich the wrong way. 😃
Ah, old school..I thought the same thing😂✌️..
Triangles taste better!
Same here.
I think you might cut sandwiches the wrong way Gary!

ang daming gulay konti tuna hindi yata balance mas ok ba yan ?
Sweet pickes not dill!
No butter needed!
Op
Too much dill, stirred into mush, no butter !
Yigh.

Damn it, I've run out of mayonnaise, and we shopped today. Why do you do this to me?
