Thanks man.....I went down to Echleberger Bridge today to fish and I could not get near the water, there were 19 cars and trucks there. I guess I lost my home base crappie hole now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes yes all your content is excellent,, just keep doing what you do,, and yes I am praying for your wife and baby, been there 2 times, a daughter and a son ,,

Love watching you crappie fish. I've been trying to get into it the past couple months. Never crappie fished before this. Not much luck for me yet on Lake Whitney
Man that is one of my favorites places to go fishing i don't live that form that place in the past i you to fish on top of the Burt bridge it's fun to fish in
Blacknose crappie is what we call them on the Th river in Bama 😊 you know if that water is cold and you are going to use a stringer you can snip one of those gills and bleed those fish and the fillets will be a lot cleaner when you cut them up.
Pretty cool you're actually doing the same thing I'm doing. I was doing quite a bit of white bass fishing last year, but this year I've already went crappie fishing quite a bit. May not put in quite the effort this year to catch white's. I'm buying a tactacam cellphone camera tomorrow and taking it down to the hog wood's. Hopefully be doing a little bit of hog hunting. I am trying to catch the walleye spawning but no luck yet. They do run way up the river, but it's been low. Hopefully with all the rain we're getting this week the river will be coming up 🎣🎣🐗🐗🦃🦃🪤🪤
Bro you was on fire 🔥. Now get a small bottle of fireball and dip your fish in it and dry batter and fry not boil lol fry now that's really crappie fire gotta try don't knock. Keep the vids coming bro
If my information is correct, Magnolia crappie are hybrids raised by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks and are stocked only in Mississippi. They do have a black stripe on their back, but so do quite a few ordinary black crappie.
Croppy is ok. A little soft and Mushy. I prefer a firmer fish like bream or Walleye. Croppy taste good. Just to mushy of a texture for me. Awesome video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That’s so crazy, I’ve fished there for years catching crappie and largemouth bass. That spot is super low on water compared to what it usually is. Now I’m gonna have to go back out there and catch some crappie but a little fun fact, that bridge that is to the left of y’all. Someone set that bridge on fire for no reason so you can’t fish off of it anymore unfortunately. I’ve always used a straight tail soft plastic lure but they will eat whatever you put in front of them. Awesome video and keep up the good work.
Finally tried crappie the other day. Not wild caught by me I live in Baltimore md idk if we have crappie so I nought it. Pretty good, I try buttloads of different fish since finding you 2 years ago. Still can't find spicy ketchup anywhere tho I have to ebay it
Hello Mullet Man, just found your channel and i can already tell that i'm going to like it. i love the "Crappie Fishing From The Bank" video. I also live in Texas but I'm handicapped with a bad heart and was wondering if you could direct me to a spot that my son could take me to go fishing from the bank? I do not get around very well so the easier the better. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I live in the Deer Park area if that helps any. Thanks for your time and keep up the good work in making content for everyone to enjoy!!
Man, i wish i could,, not familiar with deer park area,, i am up in central texas. Our area does stock our local ponds that are in the parks with trout in the winter and its a blast.. maybe you can check the tpw website and see if they do the same down there… wish i could be more helpful
@@MulletMan it's no problem, i'm pretty familiar with central texas, my x-wife lives in Bertram (thank god) lol. i'm southeast of houston. i used to fly fish for rainbow and browns in the guadalupe river but you better know where to fish to stay legal. anyway, glad i found your channel and keep up the good work!
I can't ever locate places to catch crappie. Does anyone have any tips or areas near the Dallas or Forney area? I don't mind hiking a bit to get to the bodies of water, but I can never locate the accessible areas.😊
I remember when I was a kid and some guy was cleaning up on the crappies in a river and he cleaned out the whole school. I can no longer catch any crappie in that river today. Harvest wisely and perhaps others will be able to catch some in the future.
@@angelito972 if you’re local to the area there’s a land mark you can see that should give it away. Was out there today and only caught 4 none were keepers. Didn’t see very many keepers caught while I was there. The water was to stained from recent rain, Probably about 15 people out there it’s a pretty common fishing area…

What creek y'all fishing? I remember seeing something similar to that old bridge.
Great how you kept this video simple!
Great video. Keep ‘em comin. I fillet exactly like you. These people say you’re wasting a 1/3 of the meat cutting the ribs out must be doing it wrong
Like the video. Love crappie fishing. Oh that black line is recessive gene.

The Black-nose or black-stripe crappie is what they are called. Magnolia Crappie is after they are bread.
In KY we call them black nose
