I just started fishing late September/early October. I always wanted to go fishing with my great uncles, but they just took the boys. I taught myself watching great videos like yours. Now, I taught my 3 sons to fish with me.

I know I’m very late but i love your comment. I never learned to fish growing up. I barley went fishing the first time 1 year ago. Now i look forward to teaching my neices and nephews out to fish
It always has done my heart good to see men with their boys. It's evident that this man has spent time with his because now you see grown men with their dad. What a blessing. No need to fear them little channel catfish. If you do happen to get stuck by one of the catfish fins, just rub some of the slime off that fishes side on the spot and the burning, stinging, pain will quickly be gone. Been using that trick for at least 30 years or more and I GUARANTEE YOU IT WORKS! Enjoyed the video guys!

You guys remind me of my good fishing buddies who I grew up with and convinced to try fishing. Of course they were hooked. We bought a boat on the reservoir and used it till the wheels fell off. We did about the same amount of joking with each other all day long. Good times. I'm back to being the only one going out there now. Thanks for bringing the memories back!

Hey Hook City go to Walmart or tractor supply and buy a small riding mower inner tube and put it around the top of your fish basket and put just a little air in it and your basket will float so much better , I have one that I use that don't even have a lid so I just drop the fish into it and it keep it off the bottom of the lake.
