This recipe is legit 💯. First time baking bread cuz my mom passed away in January but Christmas needs hops and ham right! I tweaked the recipe by switching the amounts of milk and water and in the milk, I added a pack of Maggi coconut milk powder. I also added corn flour to the dough. It came out superb!!

Ok....i tried this recipe on friday. It was the best bread i have ever made....pillowy soft and fluffy. However, I needed an extra cup and a half flour to bring the dough together.
Yes I made this tonight and had to add more flour in order to use up all the liquid and it did came out soft and fluffy best hops bread I made so far will definitely be making again

Sooo I’m currently following the recipe on screen and I seem to have too much milk mix left over because I added as shown on screen 1/2 cup milk to 1 1/2 cups water and this gave me 2 cups milk mixture…but reading the ingredients in the details I only should’ve put 1 cup water😳 to give me a total milk mixture of 1 1/2 cups🤦🏽♀️…will this be a problem Natasha? As now I have left over milk mixture because my dough came together way before my mixture was finished…this now means that all ingredients added to the milk mixture are off🤦🏽♀️ as I was unable to use all the melted butter, yeast, sugar and salt lol so I’m just hoping this didn’t really matter😮💨😮💨
Just a side note for those using this recipe overseas, adjust for the temperature difference. Mines took almost 3 hrs to rise the first time, and the same for the second round of kneading/ raising. Literally been bakin all day...eh dun yet LOL
I tried this recipe and it was great but when I left it a bit longer to get brown on the top the bottom got crispy.I dont know if it is because I used butter and then flour on the tray before i put the dough balls on it to put it to bake.Any advice to change that from happening a next time but would greatful,thank you...

Did you adjust the amounts in any of the ingredients?
Just the water to allow for our dry climate in Alberta. Needed about 1/3more water.

I had to add 2 more cups of flour for the amount of liquid. It came out nice and tasted great.

Put dough in oven place a cup of boiling water in oven and leave until double in size,about one hour and repeat again
