    All that smoke was pretty hilarious. Surprised no one called the fire department.

    I’ve watched a ton of these BG videos and I pissed myself laughing with this one. Good onya for having an open mind. I’d be interested in six months down the track, or when it’s back for a pink slip.

    After using this you really need to pull the lower oil pans and check the oil pump pickup!

    I'm wondering what the aftermath is. Is it still blowing smoke? Did it ruin something else??

    If it's smoking THAT bad, and that white, it's burning COOLANT. Head gasket or cracked block, engine heats up and leak gets better because the expansion closes off the leak.

    I have a 2009 Hyundai Accent GS that has some slightly noisy lifters, with only 110K miles on the engine. A local mechanic switched the engine from 5w20 to 5w30 oil and added 1/2 quart of Lucas oil stabilizer. The lifters now make very little noise, except first the thing in the morning for about a second or two, when the vehicle is started.
    Would you recommend this product?
    Or just a simple engine flush? (w/BG Engine Performance Restore)

    • @PTPrecisionAutomotive
      @PTPrecisionAutomotive  3 года назад

      mmmm. lack of oil changes or quality of your oil is most probably your problem so there are other products you could use,

    • @TheYoungBoaty
      @TheYoungBoaty Год назад

      Lucas additive would be too thick for clogged lifters, remember any additives would be only badge, but I had good luck with Rislone High Mileage Engine Treatment Additive 16.9 oz. I would suggest you to change to synthetic oil first before you add more additives.

      Lucas oil stabilizer was heavily advertised here in the USA. Parts stores had a plastic wheel crank to see it stick to demonstrate it. It's just like "motor honey" or old STP blue bottle stuff. May be better off using 15w-40 diesel oil or 20w-50 instead. That stabilizer is THICK! They are all snake oil or extreme thickener. The "flushes" are just solvent.

    I can't find anywhere that sells it, did you order direct from BG USA? Wanna try this on my current engine for the hell of it. I changed the stem seals but I think it's also got a stuck ring, engine wasn't maintained very well before I got it.

      @@googoo-gjoob Far out man. If your engine is this bad i would replace it. or rebuild it. This bloke was a back packer with not much money . And was going to be defected . It worked well, was not 100% but about 80-90% better than it was . He traveled 1500ks and ran me said it was still going ok.
