my 2015 altima with only 70k miles had the same symptoms. Drive it in the morning, no think white smoke, but when I am going home 9 hours later thick white smoke, took it to the dealer they said engine sludge, , That is when I researched further and found out about the BG engine flush kit. Drove it yesterday no white smoke.
Some guys on here a touting this stuff as " the nectar of the gods ". That being said I was glad to see you say that it's a last ditch effort. And I was also glad you looked at the pickup screen.
Are you sure it's oil pooling in under the valve cover causing the issue? From what I understand the oil control rings get stuck due to the newer low friction design combined with the lack oil changes they get gummed up and stuck in place. This leaves a gap between them and the cylinder wall at startup which lets oil into the cylinders and burning causing the smoke. Once engine heats up the oil rings expand out and start clearing the cylinder walls of oil reducing the smoke.
see what I mean, its seems more of a sham, cannot buy it online they apparently have service centers around the country and they do it, wonder if they like to get ahold of cars and say, oh sorry your car did not pass the test it needs a rebuild? don't trust anything you cannot walk into a store and buy or get online.. for someone to pour a liquid into my engine and drain it I need to pay for that service? lofl Molu has proven itself over and over again, as mentioned, answer the phone, we can talk
Thanks for the video Brendan, we normally remove valve covers, sump, spray internals with caustic degreaser & pressure clean motor, very messy and time consuming. How does the oil pickup go in terms of blockage during the process? Thanks for all the videos Tony
That is a fantastic result. I do have one question. I know some products do have warnings for cars with vct units could this product cause issues with the vct.
I have the perfect candidate, my daily driver, 1996 Ford Escort wagon LX 1.9.. has 349k miles on it, I do oil changes religiously since I owned it when it had 32k miles on it, bought it in 05 as a minter, still in great shape.. I haven't done an engine flush but I am about to put all new emissions sensors on it, catalytic converter fuel injectors and throttle body,.. the cams mic'd out nicely, all that premium synthetic I run no more than 3000 miles a whack and good oil filter, WIx! no fram or other garbage! but I would try this flush just curious to see how the rinse cycle looks on my baby... bet its not that bad, haven't had the valve cover off before this for over 100k, (needs new gasket) but the galley looks brand new, regular intervals and prelium oils and filters do that... where can I do this, I'll do video see what you really have? is this a service center sham where they sabotage peoples cars to get them to pay for rebuilds or is it legit? have to be leary when you cannot buy a product online or in stores, be damned if I take my car to anyone, not that stupid
Looks like a really great product JR, but I think most of us subscribers are diy, and we can’t seem to buy this product online. I just won’t go to a mechanics shop for this. Please give this feedback to the manufacturer
@@shill1444 "Crikey". At the risk of sounding like a cheap bastard (well, yeah!), I think I'll settle for a kerosene flush (I've got a badly sludged 2006 Holden VZ). Drop oil, add 5ltrs oil and 2 ltrs kero, run 30 mins, repeat (2 x flushes). Then I'll treat it with XcelPlus (tradename for the "original" Slick 50). Why? I've got a timing chain rattle. Mechanic looked at it and told me he WON'T do the timing chains for $2,000 (too sludged), I should go for a remanufactured engine (5.5k "plus labour"). Xcelplus won't FIX timing chains, but it may very well prevent them getting worse - a DIY "my way" is going to be a couple of hundred (and if it's NOT successful and I need a new engine - I've only lost a couple of hundred).
@@OhSoddit - WOW. SMH. I feel your pain my friend. Yes, and being a cheap bastard at this point in life has become the natural way of things. I don't blame you at all. Kerosene flushing is the old school way of doing that and I did have a mechanic suggest that to me but the wife thought he was a back alley mechanic and wanted to rely on something more "reputable" herbs seeing various videos on RUclips about it and hearing another mechanic mention it convinced her to at least try it. What your saying Sounds like a good run though. Good luck.
I wouldn't think it would do much for noisy lifters or hydraulic lash adjusters. Usually if they are noisy they are already damaged. They leak down because they can't hold oil pressure. Chevy has had this issue for years on the lifers in the 4.8 , 5.3 and the 6.2 liter engine's. Dodge has had it on the 3.7 and 4.7 hydraulic lash adjusters.
So i did this to my 300k truck, now everytime I start it, I get this cloud of smoke, followed by light blue smoke once idled..... did i do something wrong or does it need to burn off with fresh oil for a few hundred miles?
I don't think you did anything wrong. BUT ? You might have cleaned some crud up & now oils getting past something causing your smoke on start up. Did you change out your PCV or at the least check it ?
yea these videos are all cool n shirt, where da fugg you get the product? anything where you have to jump through a million hoops has got to be some pure BS PROVE ME WRONG! if a guy can't walk into a parts store or order online then its pure BS! take it to a mechanic so they can do it? FUGG THAT! best way to have your engine tampered with so it does need big repairs.. smell a huge sham folks, till then go with Moly
I have used this product with great success on my Suburban. It eliminated all valve ticking.
Thank you Brendan. Good job. Have a blessed and safe week to you and your family.
@Ahmir Martin you too
Great stuff Brendan. Nice to see this stuff works!

2:04 I like how he shows the paper like Resident Evil or Silent Hill Zombies r coming from behind!
I cant believe how insanely expensive that stuff is.
Better than buying a new engine, as he sed, a last ditch effort in fixing ur engine
That’s really expensive kerosene
agree, in the US, its half the price is here in Oz.
Can you hire someone to pick up the phone please

It´s said that the cleaner disolves the sludge well enough to clear the strainer.
Is this car still running and driving?
That is a fantastic result. I do have one question. I know some products do have warnings for cars with vct units could this product cause issues with the vct.
This is amazing stuff. Would love to know what it would do on a much older car.

I researched it, there are many vids on youtube of volks doing this same process on much older cards with a lot more milage.
Incredible results my God
Great work
That's amazing!
How often should the procedure be done?
Wow that's impressive

can buy it from Amazon but it cost $325.00 Might be worth a shot but wouldnt try it unless you have real bad sludge.
It's down to 299.00 now. Check it out. Just purchased some to do this on my wife's SUV.

Would this help in car that has slightly noisy hyrdaulic lifters? This seems to be very much like an engine flush.

Wow what a difference
For those w/o OBD-II or computer based methods to read the oil pressure, what do you connect an oil pressure gauge to?
You need a scan tool that reads Oil Pressure.

As far as 3000 rpm for 45 min can o let off for a bit then go back to it
What does it do to seals and gaskets? If it's eating oil away, it can't be great for gasket material.
Gasket material is either oil resistant rtv or rubber. It's probably fine.
Obviously!
