I just got an Akers motor mount for the bug to center it and put in the the rear like a real VW. Love the way it looks. The cab over is so cool! The chassis looks industrial and is fitting! Great eye
Haha, your wife reviews are thr best. It doesn't get more humbling having her review these builds. I want to send mine to you just to hear her take on it!
Sweet truck build, I hope you finish it and add your flair to it. If those tires ever stop gripping as well as they used to, run them backwards and get a bit more life out of them. I want to compliment you on your improved driving skills, as you drive all these different rigs you have improved so much and you can make them do what they are supposed to do more consistently and read them better before stuff goes wrong. Keep it up and I hope to send you a box soon.
The suspension setup on the Vengrc chassis is called a cantilever setup. Uses a short rod mounted to axle with a pivot to place the shock horizontal on the chassis. Works well on full body builds where you want to tuck the body tight to the frame rails.
Super awesome truck and I love the cab over! 🔥💯🤙🏾😎 I love how the motor is exposed!! 💯 For your brushless motor, maybe try another ESC like the Dinky D-Drive Pro 25amp 🤔 As for the Veng RC rear suspension setup, it looks like a cantilever setup 🧐
👍👍 awesome dude here watching 7:57 AM Sunday, November 10 got my T-shirt yesterday. Everybody loves it. I rocked it over at Jim Wolf last night you could see me wearing it on James RC RUclips channel on his live yesterday
This rips!!! I've been eyeing up that chassis for a bit, I think it would make that hard line with a little more wheelbase, and the quietest mofo setup yet!!! Great idea on the hinges LOL!!! Rock on!!!
Wow 🙌🏼. Fantastic job with this one. I love it I love it. Definitely a one line, line killer. Beautiful rig. Can’t wait to see it all done up! Love this channel broskie lol. Keep it up never stop you link bending machine!! 🤣
Just said the same thing. I’m sure he could print something to come off the front of the chassis. Might still not clear everything going on inside but it would be cool if he could get it to work.
Seems like we actually have two Roastings, first one by your wife & then second out on the trail.😂 Innovation is what pushes RC forward & RC enthusiasts are the ones that progress the hobby not RC companies.
Feel like the reason why a lot of people switch from the three link up front is because it's cool to do four links and then at the time you could get them in metal aluminum stainless sew on and so forth and people just went there and never went back
Have you tried big kid tiny truck ESC yet if not definitely you should it keeps everything so much better just transition so good low in towards nothing gets hot😊
I’m not sure with 3 link to 4 link also, I swapped to 4 link after running 3 link on all my rigs for quite some time and didn’t really notice a difference. Maybe better side hill as the links don’t have as much of that angle going from wide to narrow where they would mount to the servo mount? I’d like to see more talk about that myself honestly.
I went to 4 link on my power wagon because the 3 link front was rubbing on my driveshaft at full off camber. I've heard others say it helps with flex, but I dunno about that
Have you tried big kid tiny truck ESC yet if not definitely you should it keeps everything so much better just transition so good low in towards nothing gets hot😊 everybody I've talked to about that body say it's not a crawler body
What the wheel base of a rig like this? My group has gone with 1/18th scale for our winter season… thinking of building a long wheelbase 24? Any recommendations on an extended chassis? Love your videos.
Most chassis companies make different lengths depending on the wheelbase you want. Gladiator is the longest before you get into extended custom stuff Cbolt is a popular one. This is c10 front links with deadbolt rear links
I feel a bit cheated on this one - and agree with the lady, you can do better. Roasting your own, unfinished, project… 🙃 Crazy save just past that 11 minute mark!
Hey! I'm new to Rc crawling and RC in general. My son was gifted a crawler and we are having fun driving and doing some basic mods. Id love to improve the articulation and general performance. Do you have any YT videos recommendations that cover it? Or places online that I can read about what works for which models etc
@@tomgilberg8038 I don't really have one specific video covering it... I'm getting more and more new people asking similar questions... Will make one soon to hopefully help! General tips... Tires make a huge difference. Add some weight in the front (brass knuckles/diff cover). You can move the shocks around to different random holes on a stock chassis to achieve some more flex. Or just get a different chassis that has some better mounting locations. ..
@24Yepp man u could build a SERIOUSLY IMPRESSIVE class 3 rig from that chassis..put some 1.8 super class wheels and 4ws on it and your basically the baddest man on the planet at that point 🤣...keep up the content brother..love it.
Interior with driver and a junkyard dog for passenger would be bad ass, dude👍👍😁
A Shiba Inu would go hard with the JDM mini truck

So badass bro. This was fun to watch and I keep saying it the scramblers are easily in the discussion for the top 3 best tire ever for this scale.

Yeah, like straight up and down that was impressive dude those rims are looking sick also👍👍😎
Dude, that’s an impressive rig, pulling off those lines like no problem love it👍👍 got to do a rare and unique paint job for sure👍👍😎

Ahhh sweet. I have the hardpark cantilever chassis and am somewhat firmilliar with it, didn't realize thats what I was looking at 👍🏻
Wow, that looks super cool. That’s a unique suspension set up for sure.
Love me a cab-over!
Good to see you're cutting back on the sugar drinks......

Yeah, looks so cool out there. I like it, a really neat paint job would be super cool.👍👍
Yeah, awesome let’s go drive it. I’ll watch for it.😁👍👍
I think a suitable name with the floppy cab would be cookie monster 😂
Im not personally into the cab-over style, but this one looks great, and the motor out back all alone... Dope!
This rips!!! I've been eyeing up that chassis for a bit, I think it would make that hard line with a little more wheelbase, and the quietest mofo setup yet!!! Great idea on the hinges LOL!!! Rock on!!!
That cab cracks me up! So surprising how good it still is. Nice work dude
Dude, that thing really crawls. You need to call that one spider I’d like to chassis and suspension set up on there.✌🏽
👍👍 heck yeah enjoyed a lot, well I’ll catch you on the next one until then. Peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎
😮😮That thing is BADASS!! I love the look. Can’t wait to see it after you paint the cab!
It's a cool rig you Legends have built.
With the cab flopping backwards, it looks like it's talking.😆
But in the UK, our cabover are front hinged.😉
😂
Have just finished a Vengrc build and its a great chassis and te carbon links are awesome. Nice vid as allways 🎉🎉🎉

Freaking scramblers putting in some decent work! Blown away by the trucks performance! That chassis is fairly cheep too!
Love this truck so much! Thanks for the break down and damn it performs!
Yeah, look at that. That was awesome dude first time doing that line did great, also looked sweet doing it.👍👍😁
Great to see Veng.rc getting the recognition it deserves!
Unique frame rails, I like it👍👍

Bad ass!
Looks like a little cement mixer spinning on the back. 😂
Thanks, man! Now the motor is distracting me from watching the truck work! 😆 very cool, bro 👊
This made my morning
Sweet Motor location, looks rad when running.

Congratulations on the new line Trey! Pucker video mate!
Rc4wd scramblers are the best ever !!!
Very cool look 👍🏼.... Needs interior and driver, would be spot on then 😎
I love the wacky cab. Must make sth. like that.
New here this is a dope concept I enjoy what you got going on , I’m a Trx4m guy and like seeing what people can do
@@justinlindsey9178 Welcome 🫡
Very impressive. Scramblers are my favorite tires.
Welp. Guess I'm printing a FC body and getting one of those motor mounts. That thing is sick
Trucks lookin tough! 💪🏻
Dude, your girl is a keeper. Just sayin...
And that truck is a beast!
I’d probably say the most beneficial part of having a 4link over 3link would be having more adjustability? I could be wrong tho 😂
Happy Sunday Boys!!!
Super late today joe...
@24Yepp Yepp.
wait for a long time
Mornin boys🫡

Line slayer 🤟🏽
The world needs a Jeep FC cab only 24 body.
Diggin' the cabover. Ever think of hinging the front somehow to open like the real ones do and not interfere with the motor? PEACE
Partying Guy Dave rules! That thing goes hard and looks great.
Can you hinge the cab to flip forward?
Yep probably 😅

Badass Trey

@@thatcar-go genius idea, im sure ill end up cutting myself on a mini spinning plane prop but im all for it

Ive tried a few of them yeah.
I think my entire collection has become "not" crawler bodies. Thats what makes it fun for me
Haha😂 u got a 7.. nice rig tho bro
New to crawling love ur channel.any advice on a new body for fx118 and mounting?
Do you plan on reviewing the gatekeeper V2?

Dude Velcro your battery to yhe Ron o that can. Talk about past the front axle weight.
A four link is superior because it's 1 better than a 3. That's almost 30%.
Sieht gut aus ich habe auch einen scx 24 lkw comp
I would have thought for sure you had a cheatcode v3..u can build some wiiild rigs on that chassis..get you one, thank me later.
