Soldiers from 3 Battalion The Rifles are competing against each other in the unit's traditional 'Chosen Man' contest.
The competition sees riflemen put through a series of physical challenges, shooting drills and obstacle courses to find out who is the best.

The most experienced Regt in WW2 (in terms of days spent in close contact) and also, by %, the highest number of volunteers for the new Commando and Airborne formations.

They are closer to me then the fusiliers but what makes them a better career choice then any other reg
@@NUFC975 Light infantry is better than armoured for a start. In terms of regiment, do some research to see what you like.
That's what I was thinking about light infantry being better it says on the website their the most active its just my uncle was in the fusiliers so I'm not to sure what to do
But aren't 3 rifles mechanized actuslly ?
@@lucasb2884 Light Infantry will do a range of things. I think sometimes including armoured but not stuck to armoured.
A bit of a lack of Safety staff and luminous vests or helmet covers mmmmmmmm!

It's the newer A3 variant of the SA80 Weapons system. Far more reliable, accurate, and easier to put various types of attachments on the forward rail. Great gun!

Nah. It's already inclusive. Everyone regardless of sex gets called by the rank of "Rifleman". You're all the same.
