Dang, you got yourself a runner there! It was certainly worth the effort to rebuild it. That's some great driving, your nerves must be jangling racing like that. I'm sure it's harder than it looks. This was a fun watch too, btw...
Excellent video Scott. Informative, practical, educational, and entertaining! Sure you didn’t have to mix it with the jumper, but you were cut off illegally (in my opinion) by the looks of things. Anyway, great job and lots of point! Fast machine!!! 💪🏼😘😎
Scott, really enjoyed this style of video! Keep them coming. That boat is fast! It accelerates quickly on the start which seems to give you a little advantage on the start. Blessings to you!
Thanks! Don't know if you noticed, but I actually patterned the video based upon your style! I really appreciate that relational approach to your ministry.
Fantastic work Scott. I wish you were closer to me and my buddies here in south Florida. Running Gas mostly because of the cost of Nitro. Terry&ThePirates South Florida
Great video Scott, That thing is a bullet!!!! Very well balanced , OH and the driving was light out. No kidding. The first thing thought when saw your box, is that can't be Scott's Box😂😂😂 Thanks for the race vid, it was AWESOME!!!
I never took the drive shaft out of the ’71 Pak the entire time I ran it in ’07 and ‘08. I just stuffed some grease in the back hole and hoped it was good enough.
Maybe staying in your lane is just something for the big boats but is it really a race if there's no controversy? Haha that was great stuff, thanks so much for taking the time to share all of this.
Damn! That is a well balanced boat! That jump out and flat landing was amazing. Tell me about the weights on one side. Is this to counter balance the Turn Fin side?
I added the weight late in the season last year to balance the boat better in rough water. It makes the nose pound a bit in mid-range speeds which makes it a little tricky to drive, but it's helpful to keep the boat flying level at full speed. I have some sponson design changes that I used on my last Eliminator build series that I believe will minimize those issues whenever I get around to building Stroh 2.0
Engine rotation. Nitro and gas engines rotate the prop counter clockwise which creates a lifting force to the left sponson. If we made hard left turns all the boats would simply flop over. The electrics can go either way, but we run ours the same direction as the fuel boats to keep things consistent

All those boats are beautiful .
But the green and white is ca cut above the rest 🎉

Thanks! Wouldn't be fun if I wasn't scared!
Outstanding Scott! Really brought back some good memories of me back in the day. Nice job!
Thanks!
great video.........this guy is natural. He made this very exciting to watch.
Trust me, it was exciting to film it!

Thanks John!
Amazing boat❤, very interesting video 📷, thanks my friend🎉😊
You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it!

I wish I had racing closer than 2 hours away.
What?! Two hours ain't nuthin'! I've driven across the country to race! C'mon man... Build a boat!
Fantastic work Scott. I wish you were closer to me and my buddies here in south Florida. Running Gas mostly because of the cost of Nitro. Terry&ThePirates South Florida
Well I've been hearing that Florida is nice this time of year ...
Great video Scott, That thing is a bullet!!!! Very well balanced , OH and the driving was light out. No kidding. The first thing thought when saw your box, is that can't be Scott's Box😂😂😂 Thanks for the race vid, it was AWESOME!!!
Thanks! It's an odd quirk of my nature I guess, but my pit box has always been a disaster
I never took the drive shaft out of the ’71 Pak the entire time I ran it in ’07 and ‘08. I just stuffed some grease in the back hole and hoped it was good enough.
Yikes! I've seen a lot of guys do that. I've also seen a lot of guys with wadded up driveshafts and broken stuffing tubes!
Maybe staying in your lane is just something for the big boats but is it really a race if there's no controversy? Haha that was great stuff, thanks so much for taking the time to share all of this.
Spot on! Thanks for watchin'!
Awesome stuff mate, thanks.
Get your self some Snap-On off set open end spanners, they are handy.
Thanks I'll check those out!
I went away from the stock nova carb and went with a KRE so much nicer and the motor loves it.
I just got one and I'm looking forward to trying it. Thanks for the encouragement!
That was fun to watch. Good footage all the way around. A close up 360 view of the prop nut and strut area would be great!
So basically you want me to give away ALL my secrets?
@@M5PerfHydros lol. A little too obvious?
Damn that boat is quick👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yep!
Great video. Much preferred over the pit tours.
Thanks for the input! I wasn't sure if people would want to see that sort of "first person" video or not
I enjoy the pit tours, racing, theory and full size pit tours. You could seriously host a racing show, you are a natural.
Good awesome boat sir good job.

Bad ass!!!!!! Love it, that boat is sexy!!!!
Right?
I really enjoyed this
Thanks for sharing 🤙🛥️
You're welcome, and thanks for watchin'!
Video came out great. Wish I had a club nearby. The downside of living in the country
Oh come on now, we've had a guy driving up from Utah to race with us! You can do it!
Yay!
Woo hoo!
where i can find a 100mm propeller ? , i have a 30.5cc 10000rpm, it's hard to find
A four inch prop?!? I have no idea
Why do you guys run clockwise. My local club runs counterclockwise like the full size boats.
Engine rotation. Nitro and gas engines rotate the prop counter clockwise which creates a lifting force to the left sponson. If we made hard left turns all the boats would simply flop over. The electrics can go either way, but we run ours the same direction as the fuel boats to keep things consistent
It's nice,I like it❤
Thanks!
Do you leave the starter belts in while you race?
yes
Yup, no way to quickly remove them. I just tuck them around the motor and they stay out of the way just fine
that red and white boat was early
Yup! He got a penalty lap for that
Where can I get A motor like this
You can't ... Nova Rossi discontinued their marine engines a few years ago. CMB is a similar engine that is still available here www.hobbysupplies.com.au/CMB%20Engines.HTM
@@M5PerfHydros looks like cmb hear I come.
You guys are gonna shit yourselves when you see the Eletric boats
We run those too, but they seem too much like toys to catch my interest. I like engines that go BANG
Are the electric boats faster?
You race guys are way more die hard than a speed run and just bashing boat guys
Ya buddy! Gotta go gotta go!
