Santos is Brazilian, where they not only have a gut who was president and stole billions, then promptly got himself elected to the Senate...they liked that so much they tried jailing the next guy, only to have a judge he appointed quash the conviction and they ejected him president - look it up, this is who is president of Brazil now! With those examples, of course George Anthony Devolder Santos thinks he's done nothing wrong!
Because their elected by people in the majority that are similar, think like them, act like them, and most of all are elected from among those same like minded individuals supporting them

Why would reporters even bother asking George Santos questions? Do they expect an honest answer?
His answers in previous interviews helped to expose his web of lies. It's important to get liars on record.
Damn, writers came back hard. That's tough to put together that skit, memorize lines and places all in 1 day and then do it in one shot.
The Santos bit at the end was an AMAZING piece of live multi-camera work & planned setups! That actor who plays Santos is awesome, & the writers did a great job of escalating the madness with each new scene (going through hallways, into elevators, down the stairs, into the basement, into the studio, out into the lot, onto a truck, falling out of the truck)! That was some classic old skool real-time badassery, stunts & improv included! Bravo, Team Jimmy!

One thing we should all recognize with the Democratic Party, is that if a member of the party sullies the reputation of the party with their personal actions and transgressions, more likely than not they will be ousted from the party -- often given the option to resign with a public statement, because it is EXPECTED that representatives would leave willingly to maintain the standards of the party. The alternative is to stay on board and try to ride through the drama brought into the party. Interesting fact that members of the Republican Party most often choose to ride out through the drama and hope for a brighter day.
