Sorry to be so off topic but does someone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
Man...I was freaking out...asking God to please...let this be a simple problem. You're the first video that popped up. I was ready to call a mechanic and ask the bank for a loan. Thank you!! You were an immediate answer to prayer!!!
Thank you! This was the first clear, and to the point video I found on how to fix this. I just shop vac'd almost 2 gallons of water out of my 2015 Malibu. My air filter was moldy too! Thanks!
Great video. I had this happen to me before on another vehicle, took it to the dealer and they ripped me off , this was a 5 minute fix. Charged me over $150. Well, not this time, it help me save some cash. Thank you!
Perfect solution! I actually just pulled back the carpet a bit at the top of the footwell and massaged the drain hose…boom! About two gallons immediately started coming out. Problem solved. Thank you!
@@mplsfarmer Oops this must of hurt😂😂 Thinking this is scotty and aving to live in the shadow of Scotty. But think of it this way it's also a compliment 👍🏿
I just watched your video and what you suggested did the trick on my wife's 2005 Toyota Camry. You helped me save time and money by not taking the car to the dealer to get the problem fixed. Thanks very much.
Glad it worked for you. I'm going to try it too (or have someone do it for me). I was away for 3 months and, before, it was only doing it on the driver's side. Now it's on all but one. Hope it works for me, too. : )
Thanks for the tip. I located your video right after I was in my car & my wife realized that the A/C was leaking inside the passenger side. I followed your procedures, & after blowing out the line, water came pouring out right away. Thanks for posting your video. It probably prevented me from having any major A/C problems and definitely prevented the ruination of my interior.
@@proclaimliberty2000 i have a 2003 Lexus rx300 that i am second owner of bought it from a friend earlier this year noticed water on passenger side floor board while vacuuming this week i watched videos first of making sure sunroof front corner drains are clear and they are i poured a little water at each corner and they immediately drained underneath. So i started car and turned on ac after about 5-7 minutes with ac on max cold i started to see the condensation dripping under car close to middle front IS THIS THE ONLY DRAIN THAT WATER/ CONDENSATION SHOULD BE COMING FROM UNDER CAR? OR IS THERE A SECOND DRAIN? THE WATER IS DRIPPING OUT RAPIDLY. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE RUBBER HOSE CAN COME OFF THE AC UNIT BEHIND CONSOLE TOO AND GETTING SOME DRAINING ON FLOORBOARD? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
My RV Coach AC had this problem until today. Went out and found my drain valve took the little nibble off and the nibble it self was really stopped up not to mention where the nibble attached. Cleaned it all out Ran The motor for about 30 to 35 minutes AC wide open no leaks What so ever now my wife has dry feet LOL. I can't imagine what a RV repair shop would have charged for this to start of its about $95.00 an hour. Thanks again Proclaimliberty2000.
You're very welcome! Nothing like the satisfaction of fixing things yourself. Go treat yourself and the wife to a nice steak dinner with all that money you saved!
Just went out to my car and tried this it worked great. Now is there a video that shows how to keep it from clogging in the first. Thanks for the info.
My moms car has been having a moist passenger side floor for some time now and I have been concerned about mold because we use the car for deliveries so we are in it at least 6 hrs a day. The few people my mom spoke to about it said she would have to rip the dashboard apart to fix it. I'm greatful I looked it up myself as this seems like the most simple fix ever. I will be getting under her car and doing this right away thank you for sharing this video
I like the way you explain things out. I just found this same problem in my Chevy HHR 2009 today. I searched here and your video was the first one explaining exactly what to do. One thing I will try is to suck instead of blowing. I figure that if there is this sticky thing that forms like in the hose Ac, than will be better to try to get it out instead of pushing it back. I will use my shop vacuum and will let you all know. Thank you so much. And God bless 💪🏼🙏🏼
Yup exactly the video I was looking for! 2004 Nissan Sentra sounds like a bucket of water is sloshing around under the dash board. Thank you so much you are a man of a generous nature, rare indeed.
👍😊 if you can, take out your floor mats to dry and leave your doors or windows open to help release the moisture in the carpet. You could also point a box fan into the car with the doors open which would help it dry faster.
I have that problem now with my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee.Have not been able to locate drain hose.Great videos with simple helpful advice.Keep them coming.
Paul, you're the best! I was starting to get really worried about my egg on wheels (2018 Honda Fit). I scheduled an appointment with the Honda dealership to get this taken car of. Thanks again Paul! ❤
@proclaimliberty2000 I need your prayers Paul. I'm not doing so well spiritually. I am really afraid that my mind is reprobate. I don't want to die in my sins and end up in hell. Separation from God for all eternity sounds horrific!
Thanks Paul for explaining that there are two drain hoses on a car and that the AC drain hose often comes out of the firewall. I have been accustomed to the AC drain hose on the passenger side of the vehicle similar to the one in your video. But recently I encountered one on a 2011 Honda Pilot that came out of the firewall from the left of center (driver's side). I found the open end of the hose and wondered if the last person who worked on the car didn't reconnect a cooling system hose because I had discovered some disconnected vacuum hoses and other shoddy work. I could not see where this hose end connected to and I could not see the other end where it was coming from. Finally I just inched my way up the hose with my hand by feel until I could see that it was coming through the firewall.
Wow, good knowledgable video. I have a Toyota Echo, there is water on the passenger side, it has a aircontioner but its broke so we can`t use it . I also have a Toyota Rav4 and yesterday there was water on the floor of the drivers side. It has a air conditioner too and we use it but lately we are using the heater. My echo is a 2001 and my Rav 4 is a 2003. Thank you!
A/C works in conjunction with heater and defroster to take moisture out of the air inside the car, so the windshield and side windows won't fog up. Clear the drain from the AC box by peeling the passenger side carpet back a few inches starting at the top left corner under the dash near the tunnel. You can usually get to the A/C box and the drain tube from inside most cars at this point. Have a couple of bath towels ready to absorb the water. A small shop vac really helps to suck the water out of drain hoses and the A/C box. Don't use a regular vac designed for household dust only - the water will ruin it and could electrocute you.
BRAVO Paul, ur the 1st person out of dozens of videos I checked out that showed EXACTLY where this hose should be located!!! Thank You Soooooooo Much!!! Very Informative But Easy to understand Plus you show everything Real well! I'm am a subscriber now! Great video, great teacher! And, I am a women that needs a good teacher & you nailed it! Thanks, Jen from Texas👏👏👏👏
Hi Paul, thanks to you. I found the drain hose, but it is perfectly clear. I shun a light from the passenger foot well and underneath that I could see clear light.? any thoughts?
This was great thanks a lot I always have this issue with my 2014 Nissan Altima especially when it rains and then it would fog up all around the windows because of it hopefully this could fix the issue
I have the same exact issue! My 2013 Mazda 3 leaks water from the AC onto the floorboards, and due to the moisture, my windows fog up SUPER bad in cold, wet weather. If this happens,I have to run the AC on full blast to keep the windows from fogging leading me to freeze my ass off in my car. So damn frustrating
@@johnthomas8976 That's a common problem with Altimas. I think it was an issue of water getting sprayed in from the tire and sits there are rots out the floorboard. Take a look under your car. There are RUclips videos of people patching them. I have a 2006 that I'm about to patch.

Thanks for this. I obviously discovered your video after finding unexplained dampness in the back of my car. It's location was under the rear passenger seat on drivers side, that's right side where I am. My car is a HRV. I found the start of the dampness was inside my trunk right behind the rear passenger seat. I noticed a rubber seal which connects from upper trunk door to main body had opened at both ends. I resealed that and am hoping that solves the issue. I'm thinking it will because it is more or less above where the dampness starts inside the trunk. Posting this here incase anyone else is facing the same issue and it might save them going under their car to check the drain line. Always be careful and take the correct precautions. Thanks again.
Thanks so much!!! Was easy and worked great. NOW can you tell me how to dry out the inside of my car :). actually i am going to search your site for the answer
On my 2008 HHR it was not underneath the car but a short stub coming from the vertical wall of the firewall behind the engine near center line of car. Got to it from the TOP just behind the air filter down maybe 1 foot. Tried to snake it out but no go. Put the end of a shop vac on that stub and sucked the blockage out and instant water draining and fix.
