My floorboards flood out, especially on the passenger side. Will be looking into this today. Thanks for the clues where to look! Edit: took things apart, wasn't clogged - hosse above boot going into floor was missing entirely. Carpet padding soaked, not sure where to get replacement. Letting it dry out while I find a hose. Thanks again!
@@mayurkadam4709 replaced hose, cleaned out drains from sunroof (little wire in hole, ran hose to make sure it drained). Had a mouse die in hot car, stunk it up. Sigh!
Thanks for all the hard work you put into your videos, I usually just shoot air up the bottom of the hose and it all comes out. Can you make a video on how to diagnose Turbo chargers?
We wouldn't recommend doing that as the sudden air pressure increase can cause a static charge in the air and the air bags can blow but for a mobile mechanic that should be fine as you can just drive away and leave the customer to figure things out ;)
Im planning to do this the first time probably soon, did you have to take off the side trims to be able to lift the carpet? Mine seems to be underneath and i want to take off as little as i can while repairing this.
I've been having the same issue but I've lifted the house and no water comes out. Whenever I do a sharp left or right turn though, you can hear all this water somewhere in the cabin and I can't figure it out. Is there a possibility my AC drain hose is clogged up higher up?
@@mechanixautorepair I blew from the start of the drain tube “back” towards we’re the water comes from and poked a bunch of times with a zip tie end. Was too agrade of compressed air going back into the system b/c I’m not sure about damage. It fixed it! Also found out there was a piece of paper in fan were the filter should be. Filter was missing NEVER going to last oil change place AGAIN

It's not all the time but it's hear and there that we hear it so I may look at first the ac hose. I've blown compressed air through the sun roof drain holes and the holes under the door frames but sound is still there. At times it's very obvious and other times it's very subtle.

Most cars your can just take off one panel and pull back the carpet

nothing chewed it looks like glove compartment was full at some point and forced close thats what broke it

I have the same year same model. I can’t figure out how you took out the glovebox like that.
Open the glove box and squeeze the sides that are holding it in place of the car and it should pop right out

@@jus10bdid you try blowing into the hose with your mouth or compressed air to see if you can clear it up

Could this also be the case if we hear water or fluid moving when braking?!
Possibly if it's coming from the front passenger side

@@JustinThibodeaux-v3n if your feeling it in the pedal make sure it's not just low brakes they can make a gurgling noise sometimes
@@mechanixautorepair that's pretty accurate to the sound we hear, are you referring to low brake fluid or low brake pads?
Low pads or sometimes just defective pads especially if the pad material is semi-metalic
