Have a job interview tomorrow with a company that uses Juki sewing machines. I'm glad I watched this. There are more steps than you use when threading a Singer
Good evening. 10 days ago I bought this amazing, in my opinion, tool. Before I settled on the purchase, I watched a lot of videos about the features. In your own post, I found the Ultimate lesson as I found that you don't skip any step for threading (in many videos they skip the action at 1:25). Many thanks . Fotini from Greece.
Glad you like it and I appreciate your subscription. I have a few videos with music and I have found them to be polarizing. I hope you can overlook that aspect and find something of value in some more of my videos. My use of music is much more restrictive these days. Welcome and Thank you.
I think this is the most comfortable industrial machine for young designers, tailors and small studio. I've been dreaming about this model Juki DDL-8700 for several years. But at my home there is no place for it. Thanks for the great video!
Basement, Garage, juki DDL-8700 IS THE kids size dresser. Stop making excuses and go out and buy it already. Stay focused and your goals. It's been 5 years already.
I was looking for an industrial sewing machine and after seeing your video went and bought juki ddl-8700 in the same day, I felt in love with it right the moment I turned it on. Thank you very much 🌷
I got my Juki Jan 2019 and I use your video every time that I have trouble remembering the correct path!! Thank you so much for making this go to video!!
This is by far the best video on threading my machine. Thank you. I hope you have other videos on this machine. I just got mine today and I'm eager to learn how to use it.
Oh man I was planning to buy this beauty since I use vintage style Umbrella machine for small work. After watching your video I feel like I will end up in a loop where I will thread and rethread whole day for a small Stiching
Thanks for posting this big help...do u have any advice or vids on how to help prevent the back stich at the beginning from missing?? Would also be very helpful
Excellent job Alex! You just saved me the time of creating this video. I've recommended this machine to so many others and I've had many request to create one. Now I'll simply point them to yours.
I don't have this machine any longer. The principles of thread tensions are universal among nearly all machines so watch this video I made about adjusting thread tensions, I think is should help you. ruclips.net/video/y2ltKozlNz8/видео.html
hi I have a DDL- 555ON .I'm having trouble getting it to sew I only got it a few days ago and when sewing the needle broke now I'm having trouble threading it. Can you help please
Hi, I’m having to move from a little home sewing machine to this one for work, you are only showing us one strand of thread? Is there another strand for the bobbin underneath? Am I just missing something? Thought you needed 2 stands of thread to see, upper and lower? Do anyone know?
I'm currently making leather jackets. I'm deciding on a machine just for inner linings and I'm wondering if this can handle a task like that. My leathers are 14mm max whether cowhide or horsehide.
Not exactly sure what you mean but as I look at the 1:24 moment, it looks good to me. I will say that there can be slight variations and if it works for you then good, if not maybe try this.
@@AlexanderDyer I was watching another video before yours and she mentions to put the thread in the other hook 1st the video is 'How to thread the juki sewing machine' (Professor Benson) @ 2:24 is what I'm talking about.
Good video. Im having problems with the thread coming out of the bobbin. After I test sew, there are more than on threads coming out of the bobbin whole and it is very tight. Cant seem to figure this out. Thanks for any help.
Trouble is, I don't have that anymore. If you watch this video you may be able to infer how to time your machine. It doesn't hurt to look anyway. Good Luck. ruclips.net/video/pMPkUqA3kSk/видео.html
I guess there is a mistake in threading here, after threading the top thread guide - the thread must be wrapped directly to the tension discs, to its spring, and to the large hook then eventually to the thread guide that is located above the tension discs, and so on. Correct me if I am wrong. I was a sewer or operator in MEPZA before and that is how we thread the machine. 😊
What I can't understand is why the S hook above the needle guide when you don't go through the top part of the S but instead you go around the lower part of the S hook nearest the machine...why an S hook?

Get rid of your dinning and living room crap. If you got room for a bed, you can always make room for a sewing machine.

Hello
The manual shows the thread through the tension disks, take up spring, under bracket and THEN through guide on its route to the take up arm.

Just set the dial on front to the desired stitch length.

What causes the upper thread to cut more frequently.
Bad thread, incorrectly threaded machine, wrong needle size. ruclips.net/video/dVprkJXNma0/видео.html

It is as it should be and you should learn to accept it for what is is.
Perfect video. Thank you!
what thread should I use is the serger thread fine to use
Serger thread is fine. A good rule of thumb is you get what you pay for. If it is good quality then you should be good.
