I am 59 yr old women. I put the machine together myself. During spring planting it took about two weeks. Small amounts at a time. Threaded it today...and it works!!! I really like alot about this machine.
I love the DDL-8700 (we sell it in our stores) but I cannot justify owning one at my home). The DDL-8700 is such a marvelous machine that will probably last the person who purchases it a lifetime and the lifetime of the person who inherits it. If they are well maintained and not abused/misused the do not break down.
just got a Juki ddl 8700 and start testing it and all of a sudden the take up lever is stuck down and I can't bring it up. Is there anything you could pls suggest that I do? Tried to engage the clutch and that didn't work
@@JukiJunkies Thanks so much for your help! It was a simple fix. I wasn't bringing my bobbin thread back through the guide after wrapping it around the tension disc before actually winding the bobbin thread. Not sure how I've missed that as I've been using this machine for a year. Appreciate you all!
