Thank you for this video. I just got this machine and really appreciate all this information. I like how you used the pin to orient the needle! I have saved the video and will definitely refer back to it often.
The his has been a fantastic video to watch. My first industrial, this one is coming next week and this has been invaluable. I’ve heard so many worried about learning to place the needle so this pin trick is terrific to know. 🙏
I own the 1181 and use it for all of my upholstery projects. I’ve also used it to manufacture leather seat covers by a E -type jag. This was a great video and the needle trick is a keeper.
Can you please, please, please tell me if the bobbin case for this machine is an "M" bobbin or an "L" bobbin? My bobbin winder is a real pain in the butt! The bobbin will be either too tight or too loose to wind the thread. I have put a screw driver in the peg space to make it open wider but sometimes it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.
As a soon to be juki 1181 junkie myself, I will be continuing to make bags mostly with a mix of vinyls, faux leather, pliable real leather and upholstery weight linens and cottons. Listening to you in this video, am I right in thinking that I should ask the engineer setting it up to take a 16 needle rather than an 18 as a minimum size. I hear a 16 needle size mentioned often in tutorials I’m interested in demonstrated on a juki 1181
J'aimerais bien acheté cette machine pour faire la confection de mes sacs. J'aimerais savoir si les pieds que j'utilise présentement avec ma DDL-8100B-7 fonctionneraient avec cette machine. Merci!
I dont think you are not going to go through the thread guide again when Sindings the bobin. And also it doesnt matter which way you put the bobin into the Holzer.

Love to hear it. Thank you ! ❤️
I’ve had this machine for three years. Best machine I’ve used in over 50 years of sewing. I sew a lot of handbags.
Yay!!!

Ya might want to pre-read your messages before sending. I think it does matter which way ya put the bobbin in.
