I love the look with the solid and a cake or variegated. I'm wondering if you could leave the yarn attached and work around it so there would not be so many ends???
What a lovely look this block has to it! I followed along (we crocheted together) I used what I had on hand and a soft brown with a bright medium turquoise blue turned out a lovely sample square. I will keep it while I finish what I’m working on now and then I’ll be back for a refresher.
I love that you only chain two for the beginning double crochet cluster instead of three like a lot of patterns. I personally think it looks so much nicer. I found three chains can be to much. I’m fairly new at crochet, so I really appreciate your videos. Thank You so much for for amazing teaching style👏🏼🙏🏼🩷
@@BlossomCrochet agree, super nice looking. Chain Three leaves a little gap & a bit taller looking. I’m Lucky I watched your version of a granny stitch before any other.🙏🙌🤩☺️😉Thank You 🩷
You read my mind Rebekkah . I have some multi coloured yarn that’s not working in my current project. This design will be perfect for it. Thank you. 🌟🧶

This is how I remember this st. In rows, plain background and dc rows of different colours. TFS. Looks great with a dark background colour, like the grey too. I'm gonna try this stitch in rows as per your tutorial.
this is so clever!! look forward to giving it a go!! what a great idea!!! thanks you! your tutorials are incredibly helpful-- i simply cannot follow written patterns but your tutorials make all these patterns possible!! thank you!! Happy early St Patrick's Day! 🍀🍀🍀🍀
UNA IDEA MUY ORIGINAL. ES LA PRIMERA VEZ QUE LA VEO. MUY FÁCIL DE REALIZAR. EL GRIS ACOMPAÑA POCO EN LA IDEA. MEJOR COLORES CLAROS PARA RESALTAR LAS VUELTAS Q SE ESCONDEN.
It's sooo pretty. Only problem for me is that I dislike changing colors and weaving in so many ends. I lose out on making a lot of beautiful projects bc of it though.😢 One of these days I will change my mind and give color changing a go. xxx
I share your disdain for weaving in lots of ends. I crochet in volume and what I end up doing is making 8-9 projects then setting time aside to weave in all the ends at once and add the labels. It's the worse part of the craft and I think most of us share your feelings on that.
@@linedanzer4302 I agree. Although I don't think I could wait until the end of even one project to weave in all the ends, let alone more than one project. Wow, you're good, I couldn't do it. 🤗🧶
@@carolynpotter3033 Hi Carolyn! Yes, I've done that on projects. I found one called the surgeon's knot - I figure if they do knots in surgery it's gotta be good. I just have the fear of like an afghan for instance, coming unraveled in the wash. It's bc I saw a woman post a pic of hers in a fb group. It was awful. So I weave in my ends really good, using a long tail. It's just a shame to do all that work only to have it fall apart in the wash. The girl was really heartbroken.
I absolutely love this but I never turn my granny squares. I've always been led to believe you only need to do this if you have a problem with your tension xx
Love this square. Quick question I would love to make a sampler blanket with all your granny squares will they all be about the same size if I use the same weight yarn for all the squares?
So beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing and teaching us. May I do this turning each “row” instead of every other? I like to make continuous granny square blankets, and my memory is bad.
That is one of the most beautiful granny squares I've ever seen.
I love the look with the solid and a cake or variegated. I'm wondering if you could leave the yarn attached and work around it so there would not be so many ends???
Right I like to weave ends every round but don’t know where I’d weave them with the other colour?
The grey really makes the rainbow pop!
Yes it does
I use this pattern for my leftover yarn, and I'm so excited to see what it'll look like as a blanket!
Sounds wonderful! 🌈
The rainbow/gray combo is gorgeous!

Love this modern Granny thank you!!

I totally agree! I prefer the chain 2 instead, seems easier to ‘hide’ it amongst the regular stitches ☺️ So glad you enjoyed! 🌸

Thank you so much. I enjoyed your tutorial. I am presently working on a granny square vest, and I think this block stitch will make the vest prettier.
Sounds great! 🌈🌸
Just simply beautiful, and beautiful colors you choose.
Thank you. I have seen the picture of this pattern and felt intimidated but little did I know how easy it really was to make.
I’m so glad this video was helpful! It’s a really great pattern to work up ☺️🌸
I’ll be hiding my ends as I go and trim off.
I like this color effect, new to me.
That’s wonderful 🌸

@Adriel Rocco flixportal :)
@Reign Ray Thanks, I went there and it seems to work :) I really appreciate it !
@Adriel Rocco happy to help xD
Look up invisible knot. No more weaving in ends. Changing colors is a breeze! ✌️🌹
I absolutely love this pattern! Thank you.

Thanks so much Sherrie! 🌸💕
I can’t wait to try this, I’ve just ordered the wool/yarn, thank you for your inspiration

There is a way to carry your yarn up instead of cutting..way to many ends for me..pretty stitch..
Please share. I'd love to know our technique.
Квадрат супер! Скажите, а можно вязать без отрывно? Жалко пряжа классная🤷♀️
Absolutely beautiful do you know how to do the train track stich to join squares or its called braided stich
Que bonito tejido me gusta
I need to see how you weave in those ends like example the purple part.
Very pretty
Thank you! 😊
Can you carry the yarn rather than cutting it off every row.
Beautiful
Thank you so much I love it nice work
So beautiful I want make it blanket for my niece but how joint to other block to make blanket
I found you through Instagram. I can't wait to try your patterns 🥰
Beautiful!
Surely there is a way to carry the chain rows up so you don’t have all those ends.
That's what I'm thinking. There's no way...
So beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing and teaching us. May I do this turning each “row” instead of every other? I like to make continuous granny square blankets, and my memory is bad.
Yes, you can turn every row if you prefer! 🥰
@@BlossomCrochet thank you so much 💖
Thank you so much, love it
If I do a ch between granny clusters, will I need a ch3 on the next round between sc to jump over clusters??
Beautiful 😍
What size needle did you use? Gorgeous 😍
Iam looking st different granny square to make a more interesting square.
What size hook are you using with ice yarn please?
Beautiful intro. Beautiful granny square. Wonderful tutorial. Not a fan of the long tails... a sad waste of the Picasso yarn...
Do you have a written pattern for this square?
Can I make a full Afghan continuous square
Hi how would I do this in one colour please xx
Me encanta tu puntada no entiendo podrás poner lo en español por favor bendiciones gracias
Excellent
Pretty 😍
Do you have any written directions or better yet, a chart?
Love this 😍
Cómo hacerlo rectangular? Gracias
Could you just use the multi-colored yarn all the way or do you truly need to keep changing?
The different colors of yarn is what makes the beautiful pattern!!!
why is the turning? Is it always if you start with grey please?
What is the weight of the yard it looks thin and number of hook?
What size hook did you use
Love the square but why do you turn the work every two rows
My question exactly
Why not carry the yarn up vs cutting it?
How much yarn is needed.
Very unusual thank your☘☘
Hi can’t find the row pattern
Hoy joining gran y squares nuniones de ganchillo
I wonder what do you call an American treble crochet? So you not have a single crochet stitch then at all?
Correct, there’s no single crochet in U.K. terminology… we can a U.S. treble a double treble 🌸☺️
